Howdy guys, I’ll be talking today to you about tanks from different games, tanks from different eras like World War 2, the Cold War, the Vietnam War, and even modern times.

I’ll be talking about video games like Arma 2, War Thunder, World of Tanks, Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad, and many, many more video games that have to do anything with tanks.

Alright, enough with the intro of the article, let’s start with our first game:

15. S.W.I.N.E. HD Remaster

People who played this game back in 2001 might feel nostalgic and OLD as hell. I didn’t play this game but I saw my older brother play it back in the OG times.

But what’s this game actually about - well, it’s a strategy game where you can receive orders to, for example, take over a railway station. You also receive SP points(Strategic Points) that you can spend on more tanks, units, or special abilities.

The camera placement is from a bird’s view, allowing you to look around the map by using your cursor, zooming in or out, and managing your missions.

You can select tanks and order them to destroy other tanks or take over territories, this game can surprise you with sudden difficulty spikes and long missions that can take up to even 30 missions. Didn’t I mention that this game has multiplayer? Try it out, seriously. Old classic!

14. Total Tank Simulator

When I first looked up this game, I had to say, I was skeptical, I wasn’t quite intrigued by the graphics, nor by the combat, but despite what I felt, I bought it on Steam when it was on Summer Sale and you know what? This game was worth every penny, I didn’t realize how massive the battles could get and this game even has destructive environments.

I put the graphics aside and was completely wrong about combat, this game creates a big emphasis on tanks, but also included infantry and aircraft support as well.

This game is awesome as it allows you to control units of tanks and completely demolish buildings, or razing them straight to the ground. One of my favorite tanks is the M1 Abrams, even though I saw it get 1-shotted by some WW2 german tank on some youtube video, lol. If you like a massive battle simulator, with elements of strategy, get this game. It’s worth your time and money!

13. Armored Warfare

I have counted over +130 tanks in this game, so there’s no way in hell that you won’t find your favorite one. Besides a ridiculously long list of heavy tanks, light tanks, armored fighting vehicles, tank destroyers, and self-propelled guns, this game also offers gorgeous, eye-pleasing graphics.

My favorite tank in AW is the T-90, it’s a Russian tank and I’ve had much success with it in random matches, landing on top of the scoreboard many times and getting long-range kills. And it’s the only tank that I’ll talk about, cuz if I had to talk about ALL OF THE TANKS, then it would take me tens and tens of thousands of words.

This game also offers maps with diverse environments - deserts, jungles, urban areas, forests, islands, and even tundras somewhere in Russia in the middle of nowhere. I adore the creators of this game for so much attention to detail and addicting gameplay - rare traits nowadays!

12. Crossout

Welcome to a F2P, post-apocalyptic meme fest of a game where you can build ridiculous tank designs and destroy other tanks with ‘em. If you’re not creative and not a huge fan of designing your nks, worry not, as this game allows you to choose tanks of your liking in multiplayer battles.

One of the most bizarre tank designs I have ever seen was the Sherman Calliope, it has a cannon and multiple pipes on the back of the tank that shoots multiple rockets at once.

Graphics are nice and combat is also enjoyable, each successful strike shows you the amount of damage you’ve dealt, tanks deal different amounts of damage, it also depends on the cannon that you build your tank with. This game is unique and allows the player to create his own tanks - never seen anything else in any other game before!

11. World of Tanks Blitz

Initially, this game was released only in Scandinavian games way back in 2014, 26th of May, after witnessing a spike in popularity, it was released for the world to play on the 26th of June - and for a good reason, I got hooked on this game and been playing it ever since 2020.

This game will keep you playing as it gives you a sense of progress by unlocking tanks after playing games, you’re rewarded for winning and you can also purchase content with real money if that’s your thing.

The best tank IMO is the FV215b tank, it has the biggest damage output, penetration power is fairly high as well and gun caliber and has ALMOST the fastest reload time - the fastest one is on the KV-2.

This game has its flaws, but I still love it and play it, and I suggest you do to give it a try as well!

10. War Thunder

I loved the aircraft battles in War Thunder, but after I got burned out, I switched to land combat and quickly fell in love with tanks in this game, you don’t have to worry about feeling underpowered at the beginning of playing this game, you’ll feel progress just as in World of Tanks by unlocking more and more powerful tanks.

You can choose factions and unlock tanks from the selected faction, keep in mind, War Thunder is a very grindy game - it will take you a long time to unlock tier 1’s for your tanks.

You will also be amazed by immersion and realism in this game, it’s close to being a war simulator even. Plenty of beautiful maps to play on, gorgeous graphics, and satisfying combat. The best part, this game is F2P - try it out now!

9. Steel Armor: Blaze of War

This game is perfect if you are currently living in a battle zone and need to learn quickly how to maneuver/attack with a tank. This game offers a very realistic and detailed experience of handling your tank, so if you’re expecting an arcade sort of game like the Battlefield Series, you’re in for a big surprise!

This game offers a couple of maps, one of them taking place in Angola, another one in Iraq, and also in Afghanistan - there are other maps with more vegetation and urban areas if playing on a desert with a few bushes ain’t your thing!

You get to drive two tanks in this game, one of them being the famous M60A1, a US Army tank. The second one is the T-62, a Soviet-era tank. Both tanks have very detailed and complicated interiors, which make this game challenging and difficult to learn, as it actually teaches you to some extend how to properly handle those tanks. There are also strategy elements, you can control your units and look at your map. The game is awesome, but it won’t be if you’re an arcade sort of gamer - anyways, give this game a try!

8. Company of Heroes 2

You’re gonna be playing as the Russians fighting Germans in WW2 on the far, far Eastern Front - Company of Heroes 2 is an RTS game in which you have units under your control, some of these units consist of conscripts, infantry, and most importantly - tanks.

Tanks don’t have to worry about getting shot by MG’s or some assault rifles, but conscripts do - these guys have a very limited life span and you don’t have to worry about losing them, as you can easily replace them within a minute - their role is more of a meat shield than of a soldier.

This game has its campaign and plenty of maps with different terrain, anywhere up to from Moscow to Berlin. So what you’re waitin’ for, go out there and kick a Krauts ass!

7. Men of War: Assault Squad 2

This RTS, like many other previous RTS’s mentioned above, takes place once again in World War 2, this one is a bit different as it allows you to select 1 out 5 armies with their own distinct campaigns taking place all over the world.

The game, for a simpleton like me, was fairly difficult, especially in multiplayer where I received little to no sympathy from my opponents. I’m barely a beginner in this game(I’m 11 hours into this game) and I suggest anyone who purchases this game to experiment firstly in single-player, otherwise, you’re in a world of trouble and pain.

Men of War: Assault Squad 2 has a steep learning curve, it will take you many hours of gameplay to learn how to play properly and that’s the beauty of this game - for me, it’s not only the gameplay but the craving for learning.

Graphics and combat are nice and enjoyable, the game is pretty tense, especially if you enter a city where you can’t spot any enemies or your teammate is AFK(“had to walk dog sorry xd lol :o xDD)”.

6. Shellshock Live

This is an odd, 2D game that I’ve seen Mr. Sark play, I’m sure that it requires some strategy, but let’s not kid ourselves, most of the time it’s about RNG and just having mindless fun. You also have lots of weapons that you can equip your tank with.

The terrain is destructible, players get their turns where they can fire their weapons or move their tanks for a brief moment. You also receive XP for destroying enemy tanks!

This is a F2P and simple game, awesome to play with your friends(ruins friendships, btw), and is a great game to play if you’re bored and have nothing better to do with your time.

5. Tank Mechanic Simulator

This game is kinda strange, strange in a positive way because you have an option of digging out tanks from the ground. Finding tanks is kinda difficult and if you manage to find one, you’ll feel high levels of happiness and joy.

But don’t expect to just find a tank and automatically drive it, you need to dig it out completely from head to toe, then proceed to wash it to a certain amount so it becomes movable, transport it onto your truck and relocate it to your warehouse. Keep in mind, your tank is detailed as hell, you need to make sure every part is cleaned, polished, and painted before operating it.

You can sell the tank or keep it for your collection, drive it, shoot with it and feel proud of yourself for digging it out and giving it a home to live in.

4. Graviteam Tactics: Mius-Front

It’s Summer, 1943, the Soviets are turning the tide against the German, but that doesn’t stop Germans from rabidly fighting off the never ending hordes from the East. This is where it’s up to you how 4 massive scale battles will turn out, whether you play as the Red Army or the Wehrmacht.

This game is a tactics simulator, from what I’ve heard it’s not noob friendly and has a steep learning curve, so if you’re a casual player who wants to become more imaginative and thoughtful, this game is for you.

Graphics look great, yet you might witness some FPS drops, but worry not as it can be easily fixed by fiddling around with your in-game settings.

This game will only reward you if you put in some of your time, don’t expect to get good at this game in 20 hours!

3. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

Here we go again, with rabid Germans fighting the hordes of Soviet soldiers, this is a unique game with plenty of maps that contain different terrains.

This game can be diverse in terms of action - one moment there’s a whole platoon of Germans advancing towards you, a few moments later you feel like you’re the only player on the server, stranded in the middle of a city with no soul in sight, occasionally finding something to shoot.

Tanks also have a role in this game, it’s not too significant as this game revolves mostly around the infantry, but you’ve got access to the Soviet variant - T34/76 and the German variant - Panzerkampfwagen IV G. They’ve got their own vulnerable spots and from my experience, they were relatively comfortable to control and engage in combat with - you’re granted with a tutorial where you can learn how to properly operate the tank!

The game is awesome and it’s one of my favorite WW2 games!

2. Arma III

Arma 3 is a combination of a tactical shooter, large-scale battles, cooperation, missions, big as hell maps with diverse terrain(deserts, hills, mountains, lakes, rivers, etc),

I don’t consider this game to be the MOST realistic, but more of a realistic shooter out there compared to other games, you can engage in combat at night/day and of course, it has TANKS!

Tanks have highly detailed interiors, they feel natural to drive and different types of ground affect the way your tank drives. The tanks also react realistically to getting hit with rockets and rounds, “slat armor” covering the tanks also offers realistic protection from RPGs.

The icing on the cake is the customization system, which allows you to add camouflage and the previously mentioned slat armor.

If you like big world maps, this game’s for you!

1. Battlefield V

In total, there are 9 tanks in this game, my favorite one being the Valentine AA MK I - it’s mobile, can snipe other tanks across long distances, and easily pulverize infantry in close combat. There are also other tanks, such as:

Tanks in this game can be upgraded with perks, they’re all different in terms of speed, aiming and controls. Battlefield 5 also has a long array of maps with urban areas and different terrains(snow maps, deserts, etc) - so getting bored of dogfighting with tanks is pretty much impossible.

Although this game might seem historically inaccurate, it’s worth looking into for it its gorgeous graphics and awesome, large-scale battles that include tanks, infantry, aircraft and other light vehicles.

I believe that when it comes to tank gameplay, BF V takes the cake and seemed the most enjoyable to me. Controls seemed, comfortable, combat with infantry and other tanks was incredibly fun, and had plenty of fun sniping tanks across the map - try this game out, let’s try to keep it alive for a while, at least!

Hello there, sniper. Do you like to shoot people right in the head? You like to do it from a safe distance without endangering yourself too much - if that’s the case, I’ll be talking to you about my top 15 best games where you can play as a sharpshooter.

And that’s it. Idk what else to talk about anymore, so I’ll cut the bullcrap and start with our first game:

15. Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2, a game with great potential that unfortunately faded away and kinda died. People still play this game, but not to an extend you would expect. Titanfall 2 has a variety of weapons that include snipers, one of my favorite being the Kraber, not because of its funny name, but because it’s pretty easy to aim with and score ez headshots!

There are 2 more sniper rifles, such as:

D-2 double take - Significantly weaker damage than Kraber, better accuracy/magazine capacity/fire rate
Longbow-DMR - decent accuracy and fire rate+magazine capacity, slightly weaker damage than Kraber

Snipers in this game offer high risk-high reward gameplay, as it guarantees huge amounts of damage if the hit connects to your enemy and punishment if you fail to shoot your target. The game is still being played and it’s fun, try it out.

14. Hell Let Loose

The game takes place in WW2, everything went to hell after an angry, Austrian painter decided to invade Poland. You’ll get to play with many weapons - machine guns, pistols, rifles, and most importantly, SNIPER RIFLES.

As a German, you’ll be equipped with a Karabiner 98k x8 and as a Yankee, you’ll get an M1903 Springfield. Both are strong, as a single shot to the head means obvious, immediate death. The point of snipers in this game is to get rid of machine gunners, officers, and the commander of the enemy faction. An incredibly immersive WW2 game!

13. Arma 3

One of the coolest gamemodes to play as a sniper is the King of the Hill, where you are cooperating with your team to kill as many enemies as possible, unlock as much equipment and vehicles as possible.

What makes Arma 3 a great game with sniper gameplay is the fact that the maps are usually big as hell, you can customize your weaponry quite a lot and it also offers realistic sniper combat. Another immersive, fun game with multiple gamemodes!

12. Battlefield V

Battlefield 5 offers semi-realistic, historically inaccurate gameplay, but that doesn’t change the fact that the game is still fun as hell to play as the Recon class!

The game has beautiful graphics and will reward you with a satisfying “PING!” noise after headshotting some scrub. You’ll be able to play with the following sniper rifles:

11. Insurgency: Sandstorm

In this game, you’ll have to rely on your team, and your team will have to rely on you - welcome to Insurgency: Sandstorm, a tactical FPS shooter which brings massive amounts of immersion and action in close combat gameplay.

Unless you wish to play as a sharpshooter, if that’s the case, find yourself a nice bush and don’t shoot with your sniper rifle like it’s a machine gun or I guarantee you a quick death as this game mostly does offers small-medium sized maps. It’s a fast-paced game where you’ll encounter fast-paced encounters even as a Recon. Cool game if you’re sick of waiting 20 minutes to get a headshot!

10. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon® Wildlands

Idk who or where he is, but what this game has to offer is a big ass map where you’ll be able to play with up to 3 friends. The map has different terrains, ranging from forests to deserts, urban areas, and the countryside.

The game is perfect for sniper gameplay, the size of the map alone will make you harder to find than a needle in a haystack. Offers different types of camouflage for each environment and a bundle of sniper rifles that you can pick:

These weapons vary in stats, you’ll unlock them as you progress in the game, and playing as a sniper in this game seems fun as hell, especially when assisting your friends!

9. Squad

This game has to offer large-scale battles on servers that can fill up to 100 players, I’ve seen fun gameplay of US soldiers in deserts committing war crimes against the local population. This game is not only about deserts, but different environments which you use to your advantage, especially as a sniper.

It’s mostly about cooperating with your teammates, you could support your team via pinning down opponents from afar with your sniper rifle, taking off important targets, or just serving as a scout for your team. Plenty of weapons and awesome combat, but it also requires decent communication between you and your team, as in this game, you’re rewarded greatly for teamwork!

8. Sniper Elite 3

Do you like slow-motion? Do you like x-rays? Great, this game is for you, when shooting a target you’ll get a detailed view of a bullet going in slow-motion through the skull of your opponent(as in the picture above). You can even shoot off someone’s balls!

This game has terrifying gore and gameplay similar to Max Payne 3, the addition being the x-rays and slightly better graphics. It has plenty of sniper rifles, although they vary in damage, the damage doesn’t matter when you score a headshot, and getting headshots in this game is very easy!

7. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts

When playing this game, you have to put a few things into consideration - the distance that you’re shooting from, the wind, and the general difficulty of this game. It’s not a simple “point and shoot” arcade sort of game, you have to use at least a small part of your brain.

Realism is a big part of this game, but another awesome part is the campaign itself - it’s lengthy, full of sneaking around, and of course, lovely headshots!

6. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2

In this game, you’ll be able to whack your unsuspecting foes from over 1000 meters in a beautiful fashion - You’ll be granted bullet-time and you’ll shoot your way through countless foes, either by blowing their heads off or shooting a perfect 12.7x99mm right through the head of some poor bastard.

Like the previous part, this game has a campaign and this time it’s taking place somewhere in the Middle East, has plenty of new content and some sandbox gameplay. I am 110% sure that you should try this game out, it’s surely better than its predecessor!

5. Sniper Elite 4

Like any other Sniper Elite game, you’ll be playing in third person shooting at random nazis. Whether you want to shoot them in the head or their balls, it’s totally up to you, and yes, here you’ll also be rewarded with satisfying gameplay that includes bullet-time and x-rays.

Besides awesome combat, this game also has to offer sneaking elements, a long as hell campaign(+15 hours if you’ve only focused on doing the main missions), comfortable controls, and pretty graphics!

4. Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army

Hitler is crapping his pants in his little nazi bunker, so his last resort is to release waves of nazi zombies upon his foes. Of course, you are there to save the day and shoot some nazi zombies in the good ol’ SE fashion with bullet-time and x-rays. This time you’ll be able to see an x-ray of an undead nazi’s balls!

You’ll be able to shoot off nazi zombie balls with up to 4 of your friends,

encounter intense gameplay and witness thousands of zombies swarming their way towards you. Good luck!

3. Call of Duty: Warzone

Although this game doesn’t have a single-player campaign, instead it has a fun battle royale. I understand that some of you might be sick and tired of hearing or playing games that have battle royale gamemodes, but this one I have to say was pretty enjoyable for me - I find it more enjoyable than PubG mostly because of its fluent controls and more satisfying weaponry to shoot with!

You’re dropped from a plane on a massive map where you can scavenge random equipment and weapons, encounter skirmishes between teams in buildings, or score some juicy headshots as a sniper from a distant location. You’ll be to find and use one of the following sniper rifles:

SP-R 208 - the best one in the whole game(IMO)

I know that the battle royale is an immortal genre, but try this out - you might find it distinct from other battle royale games and fall in love with it!

2. Escape from Tarkov

This is one of the most realistic first-person shooters I’ve ever seen, graphics are top-tier, you can upgrade and customize your sniper rifles to high degrees, your guns also jam which can only mean 1 thing in combat situations - DEATH! But besides jamming, they can also overheat and wear out. Your character will also be able to lean, go prone, but also feel hunger, thirst, cold, suffer blood loss, exhaustion, fractures - it’s very similar to DayZ!

Escape from Tarkov is an awesome game, focusing both on realism and action, with RPG and MMO elements. The map is massive, has an urban center with many unique locations from which you can snipe some noobs wandering around. Or you could just conduct massive raids with your friends and start massive battles!

The game also has its own story and you can discover more of it via finding random documents scattered across the map, so what you’re waiting for? Get this game today!

1. Black Ops Cold War

This game gets the first spot, it has a campaign and a multiplayer, don’t expect much realism from this game, in the multiplayer you’ll be running around with your sniper rifle quickscoping kids from a few meters away, which is enjoyable in its own way and nostalgic in a way, reminds me of times 11 years ago when I saw people quickscoping me every 5 seconds in Modern Warfare.

The gameplay in this game is quick-paced and action-packed, it’s leaning more towards arcade-ish gameplay than realism, which is not necessarily a bad thing, because every once in a while we like to play a game where we don’t have to care about thirst, hunger, or any of that nonsense, guns jamming, etc. And that’s the beauty of CoD as a whole, it’s brainless simplicity that has been being sold for the past 15 years that’s extremely addicting to its consumers. And seriously, if you’re going to use snipers in multiplayer, learn to quickscope/noscope, maps are small as hell and you’re easy to find!

BF5 Best Audio Settings and Tips That Give You an Advantage

Battlefield 5 sounds incredible in all the modes, but some settings can drown out what’s important. Let’s go over the best baseline audio settings that require the least EQ tweaks.

Best Dynamic Range

#1 Best Sound Settings for Surround Speakers:

After rigorous testing, we have to go with “Surround, Speakers” for the best dynamic range while maintaining competitive awareness. What about “War Tapes” you ask? They have a wide range and deeper bass but not as much clarity in treble. “3D headphones” are touted occasionally, and they have advantages in treble; however, they don’t have the mid-tones the others contain, and everything has a tin quality to it- like the whole battlefield is made out of aluminum siding.

Frankly, I like my booms grumbly and my footsteps distinguishable. Which brings us to another suspect setting, “Night Mode”. Night mode is only good if you can’t hear footsteps over booms that are 50 feet away. It might make this worse but in some cases, strange speakers have benefitted from this setting. Only use it if you feel it is required. Most people I’ve spoken with agree that footsteps all sound similar and it’s hard to distinguish distance.

PC/X-BOX/PLAYSTATION:

OUTPUT CONFIGURATION: SURROUND
SOUND PRESET: SPEAKERS
3RD PARTY ENCODER: NONE REQUIRED

Advantages

Louder surround: your satellite speakers will generally be loudest on (surround, speakers)
Dynamic Footsteps: you can locate people quickly with this setting due to the widest range in footstep sounds
Clear Sound Profile: whether a Stukas swooping or a Garand is pinging, it sounds the best on this setting, war tapes can sound good too, but you get more directional information from (surround, speakers)

#2 Best Sound Settings for Headphones:

Stereo, speakers but this time with a twist. If you’re an Xbox or PC user, then you should try windows sonic headphones. On PlayStation, just use 3D headphones and turn off any encoding sony wants to do post-game export. Both of these settings sound great on the headsets we tried. Sonic for windows had better mids, but the footsteps were discernible on both.

Do you hear an echo?

Some overlapping audio encoders can interfere with each other. If you're experiencing this, make sure to set output in the game options to stereo. So, if you are using Dolby Atmos on a receiver and you hear an echo, you should use these settings:
- [Output Configuration: Stereo, Sound Preset: Speakers]
Alternatively, you can set the game to:
- [Output Configuration: Surround, Sound Preset: Speakers] and set your receiver or headphone on "Direct" or "Normal"

Important Audio Tips and Tactics

Make sure you commit: whatever settings you choose, stick with it. The tiny nuances will throw you off if you’re constantly swapping settings, let alone audio settings
Use your senses: before you peek that corner, listen for footsteps and scamperings. You should be able to determine how many and what direction they’re running in
Don’t run: if you’re the tip of the spear and no one has spotted you, then you should adopt turtle tactics and be neither seen nor heard… that is... unless you can cast the first shot, in which case unload from cover
Don’t assume: I constantly assume, when nine explosions are going off, the enemy won’t hear me run up on him. This is wrong; video games work differently than real life. They do hear you, and with these settings, you will too...

This mode is a battle between teams of 32 players tasked to capture and hold the most flags. By doing this the team who captures the most flags wins through gaining the most points. To capture a Conquest point, the player has to be in the general area of the flag. The closer the player stands to the flag determines how quick they capture it. Teamwork is critical in this game mode as it can determine how successful a flag is captured. In playing this game mode players are more aware of how other game modes may play out. It gives access to giant maps, tons of vehicles to try and dozens of chances to rank up.

Tips for Playing Conquest Mode:

Tickets gained by capturing the flag can be lost if the player holding it is killed.
Always spawn on conquest flag points that are furthest up on the map. It will help your team be able to gain more points and flags.
Take advantage of tanks when they are readily available. A tank can be critical when trying to turn the battle in your teams favor.
Both teams start at 600 points each and the battle is over when the other team reaches 0 points.
Stay in cover when defending a captured flag as you will be less spotted by enemy soldiers.
If you are on the losing team at the end of the round, it becomes much easier to capture flags in a way for the team to comeback.
This mode is primarily based on team work; each class plays their part in making sure capturing a flag is successfully attempted.

Domination Mode

Domination mode like Conquest mode has been a made stay since the franchises beginning. It is known to be the hard point mode of Battlefield 5.

Unlike many of its similarities compared to Conquest mode. This mode is also focused on infantry combat. In this mode each team must work together to capture areas on the map and defend them. Team Cooperation is important when trying to gain capture points and defending them.
The outskirts of each domination mode maps are known as the dead zones. They may make a great place for recon players to snipe from and cover teammates.
Avoid staying in the center of the map for long periods of time; this has caused many players to be put in a kill box. However, moving around the area that surrounds the center zone can be helpful when trying to locate enemy players.
Medic class can be a critical role to keeping a players team in the battle when attempting to defend a captured domination point location.
Camping around a covered area of the captured Domination point locations can help when trying to keep your team in the battle; as the longer you hold the key areas increases your points each second spent defending.
Being a Recon class player has its advantages when trying to defend a captured point location.
Enemy team loses a point if they fail to hold two captured point locations.

A mode where the player is tasked to kill enemy players that may come along your path to victory; by doing so the players team gains points that accumulate to earning a victory once a points criteria has been met. In this mode everything can and will be used to make sure the enemy team doesn’t live to see victory. It allows the player to face off on small area maps to intensify the action; making sure there isn’t a moment where the player isn’t trying to look over their shoulder.

Tips For Playing Team Deathmatch Mode:

Spotting an enemy player can help teammates kill them if they are close by.
There is no specific class that is most dominate however, assault and medic have critical roles due to supplying med kits and ammo.
Aiming down sights tends to be more accurate than hip firing in medium to close range combat.
Remember to change your fire mode depending on the combat area range: Single shot for long range and automatic for medium and close range combat.
Stay in cover and behind environmental objects when an enemy is close by; staying out in the open increases your chances of being spotted.
Fortifications can help increase cover and gives prone soldiers a way of staying unspotted; the support class is faster at building fortifications.
Teamwork is seen favorable as each class has their own role to play in securing the battles victory.

The mode that pits your teammates against days of battle that they must survive in order to gain victories each round

This mode is a combination of Conquest and Rush game modes in a single map. Each team has a base with two telegraphs that must be defended. A line of flags join the two bases with all flags needing to be captured in order to gain the victory over the opposing team. This game mode pits the opposing teams in a test of strength in a tug of war on territory basis. The teams consist of 32 players each side vying to conquer all territories of the battlefield. Here are some tips on how to survive and gain the victory in battle.

Tips For Playing Front lines Mode:

After securing a flag hang back as your squad moves up to clear out any enemies that may be on the way to recapturing the flag; this will help making the journey pushing up much easier once the area is clear.
Armored vehicles tend to play an important role in this game mode; they can help moving up easier by eliminating hidden assault or support players.
There is no superior class when playing this mode; each role helps to secure the victory for their team.
If your team captures majority of the flags it is easier for your team to gain the upper hand in connecting the telegraphs in your favor.
Focus on capturing the flags as your Kill/Death Ratio is least important in this mode.
Camping is a bad idea in the maps that front lines takes place as they are limited in their surrounding areas; you are bound to be found hiding unexpectedly. Learn to stick and move at all cost to survive frontlines.
Hip firing can prove to be more helpful in this game mode as it is close combat quarters in each map. The player should resort to aiming down sights if it is an open area.

Grand Operations mode

Get ready for an all out war that spans 3 days in 3 rounds that tests a teams consistency with being able to work together

Grand Operations mode is a mode that transcends over a series of rounds known as days. The way this game mode works is that each day progresses how the battle plays out; every previous stage has an impact on the next one. If the players team does well in the previous stage they are rewarded with in game supplies; Ammo, tickets and other equipment needed to succeed in battle. It is a mixture of other game modes that a player can play online. This game mode is ideal for players who want to freshen up on their multiplayer skills; It pits the player through variations of the other game modes. Most of the matches in this game mode end at day 3.

How Grand Operations works:

Stage 1 of Grand Operations: is the first round of this game mode, it requires the player to destroy (attack team) or defend (defense team) team artillery cannons. The attackers start out in a plane where they can choose when to parachute out onto the battlefield. The defenders start near their teams artillery cannons that are to be defended against the attackers. They can place fortifications, mobile weapons and anti-air cannons near their defended cannons.

Stage 2 Of Grand Operations: Day two divides the map into sections that must be conquered by each team. It is primarily like Conquest and Domination game modes. At the start of Day 2 of Grand Operations each flag is controlled by the defenders. The attackers’ goal is to control all flags at the same time to unlock the next section or sector with flags. The defenders goal is to stop at no cost to make sure the attackers aren’t successful. This round will consist of either Conquest or Front lines mode; the main goal is to secure the flag and capture it to gain points.

Stage 3 Of Grand Operations: This round is the same in comparison to Team Deathmatch. However, unlike Team Deathmatch there aren’t any spawns. This stage is the last round of Grand Operations unless the end of it is met with a tie score; In this case another round must be played. To win this round it is simple one of the sides must lose all of its soldiers. It is the ultimate test of teamwork in battle. As mentioned previous stages leading up to this round determine your teams success. The amount of ammunition and number of health rates depend on how well your team did performance wise in previous stages.

Tips For Playing Grand Operations Mode:

Defense cannons can be used to destroy attack planes resulting in lower efficiency.
Stay in cover and out of sight during day 3 to make sure your team has an upper hand.
Each class plays a critical role in every round of this game mode however, medic class is invaluable in all modes of Grand Operations.
Getting on an anti-air cannon and shooting down the rescan planes of the attacking team can cut down enemy tickets.
Don’t wait to jump out of the plane when playing as an attacker during round 1; it will leave you as a player vulnerable to be shot down midflight down to landing.
Rules of survival in other game modes may help to secure the victory in this game mode.
Stay with your squad as each player can change the course of staying alive when trying to capture flags and destroying cannons.

Here is a list of the best classes that consist in the war field of battlefield 5. We have ranked them ranging from best to least useful.

God Tier - The Best Class For Team Players

The support class. It is a class made to meet every combat situation with more weapons than your enemies skills could handle.

1. Support Class (God Tier)

In battlefield 5 the support role plays an important role in winning the battle. It is the class that makes sure the members of their squads are fully equipped with ammo. The support class makes sure the squads vehicles are repaired through the engineer class. Therefore, the support class can be seen as a viable team piece to a squad.

Has the ability to build faster than any other class in Battlefield 5.
The vehicle fixer perk enables the player to repair vehicles and build fortifications faster than any other support class.

Class Combat Roles:

Engineer - The Engineer combat role is unlocked by default. This role is an expert at mechanic skills. They are skilled with quickly repairing vehicles and building static weapons. Static and auxiliary vehicle weapons take longer to overheat when the player fires them using this role.

Machine Gunner - The Machine Gunner combat role unlocks at Support rank 8. This role relies on suppressive fire to expose the enemy. The bullet storm perk enables the player to cause more damage while receiving less suppression fire. The Focused Fire perk allows the player to fully spot suppressed enemies for their teammates.

The Assault class. The class that gets thrills out of being up close to the lines of battle.

2. Assault Class (Beast Tier)

The assault class is best suited to fit the frontline and destruction of enemy vehicles. As a soldier who picks the assault class in Battlefield 5, you’re able to maneuver in close combat and gain access to a lot of weapons not available to other classes. For that matter this class is seen as a natural leader for the team.

Assault Class Combat Roles:

Light Infantry - Light Infantry is the default Combat Role of the Assault class. Light infantry soldiers happen to be fearless battlefield scavengers. Their peak physical condition helps make them more resilient than other combat roles. This role allows the player to find more ammo on fallen soldiers through its Scavenger perk. The Battle Hardened perk allows the player using this combat role to regain more health than other roles.

Vehicle Buster - Vehicle Buster is unlocked at Assault class rank 8. Vehicle Painter perk enables destroyed vehicles to turn into scrap used to fuel your Requisition. Vehicle Scrapper enables the player to gain bonus Requisition when the player destroys a vehicle.

• A feared enemy when it comes to close and medium range combat

• Excels the best at destroying enemy vehicles.

A medic soldier. They are a critical role to keeping the team alive in battle

3. Medic Class (Strong Tier)

The medic class is the 3rd best class because it is critical to keeping the team alive. The medic class is in charge of supplying the squad with med kits. It is a very critical piece to the squad because of its close combat skills.

Medic Class Combat Roles:

Field Medic – The default combat role of the medic class. This role allows the player to get more requisition by handing out bandages to teammates. This combat role also comes with a movement speed bonus when a teammate is down and calling for medic help.

Combat Medic - This combat Medic Role is unlocked once the player gets to level 8 with the Medic Class. This combat role enables the player to have longer reach when using melee weapons; makes it easier for the player to engage in close quarter combat.

This class is the fastest in reviving teammates in Battlefield.
Excels at close and medium rang combat making it easier for the player to keep teammates alive.
Sprints faster when health is low ensuring higher survivability in tight situations.
Is able to heal on its own through its unlocked abilities without having to wait for regeneration.

4. Recon (Camper Tier)

The Recon class is the bird’s eye defense during battle in Battlefield 5. They are the experts when it comes to headshot killing an enemy from a scopes distance. They excel at making sure there is an even playing field between every glorious moment in battle. Enemies know this class to be the gleam of light before they see that fateful light.

Sniper - The Sniper combat role unlocks at default Recon class. This combat role allows the player an eagle eyed view on the enemies; Through the Eagle Eyed perk the player can spot enemies when they shoot them. This role also allows a player the ability to hold their breath for longer periods of time. Through the use of the Expert Marksmen perk, this classes breathe duration is replenished with each headshot kill.

Pathfinder - The Pathfinder combat role unlocks at Recon Class rank 8. Deep behind enemy lines, the Pathfinder combat role swiftly is able to identify an ideal entry point. This helps the players teammates when conquering an objective. The Advance Scouting perk, allows this combat role is able to spawn next to Spawn Beacons outside the area of their squad. When the player uses the Vanguard Perk; they are allowed additional Requisition when a teammate lands on their Spawn Beacon.

Why this class made the camper tier:

Excels at making headshots from long distance through the use of a sniper rifle
This class is known to most as a campers paradise class for its weapons choice and abilities
The birds’ eye of the battlefield helps their teammates by spotting enemies from a far.
Stealthy expert at both close and long range combat.
Capable of clearing most objectives without ever coming under fire.

Choosing a class to play with has never been easier than in Battlefield 5. The classes each pack a critical role in surviving this epic World War II.

Each class is dependent on how the player chooses to play their role in telling how the battle ends. This guide is based off the gameplay of each class and is ranked through each classes useful abilities.

The epic moments spent studying each classes best and worst key moments. The ways their weapons helped the player instead of hurt their kill/death ratio. They were also based off other veteran player opinions.

Battlefield 5 Release Date, Gameplay, Trailers, Story, News – Everything We Know

Battlefield remains one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world. After the relative success of Battlefield 1 – after the underwhelming pairing of Battlefield 4 and Hardline – things look to be on the up, for the massive scale, multiplayer mayhem generator.

Now, things are beginning heat up for the next title in the series supposedly titled Battlefield V, based on a leaked “developer build” image posted on Reddit.

Battlefield 5 Release Date

Drawing from an interview in The Wall Street Journal earlier in the year, EA’s finance chief Blake Jorgensen confirmed a “new Battlefield game” would be released in October 2018, whilst mentioning the impending release of Bioware’s flagship title Anthem.

This information corroborates a comment made in an earnings call to investors back in 2017 by EA CEO Andrew Wilson, that a new Battlefield title was sure to be released this year.

Battlefield 5 Story

We’re currently without specific details at the games single player narrative although information about the games setting seems fairly set in stone.

A Venture Beat article, details information gained from sources close to DICE and EA that Battlefield V will take place in WW2. This was apparently an internal decision bolstered after the huge success of Battlefield 1. Earlier reports of a Battlefield Bad Company 3 seem to have been put on the backburner in place of a more “traditional” BF experience, with less of a focus on a driven narrative and developed characters.

Oh Bad Company, we hardly knew thee…

This is slightly disappointing. The Battlefield series has been ripping along for some time now, nobody can deny its popularity, using a tried and tested formula, year in and year out. The formula works and it sells but with success comes a reliance upon safe game design, missing the chance to revisit the more focused, more unique gameplay twists brought to the table by Bad Company.

Battlefield 5 Gameplay

The full reveal for Battlefield V’s gameplay is due to take place at an EA Play event in LA on June 9th – 11th.

However, based on what limited amount of information we already have, there are some reasoned assumptions to be made.

Battlefield has always been a multiplayer focused experience and that is sure to be the case with the “5th” instalment. Whilst Battlefield 1 did make some in-roads into the single player space – with a character driven, theatre hopping story that proved relatively intriguing – the reason for the games sustained success was its well-designed multiplayer experience. Everything from map design, character progression, weapon variety and relative server stability ensured the growth of a large community and EA insure to want to build off this success for the next game, without “rocking” the community boat too much.

Expect to see familiar modes such as Conquest and Rush and perhaps some new additions, with the more updated technology of WW2 bringing with it the possibility of a more mobile, more vehicle heavy combat experience. This new setting may also bring with it more expansive map designs, moving away from the maze-like networks of trenches and static gun emplacements.

These would be incremental improvements but at this point – with the series having gone on for so long and with such a devout following – any drastic gameplay changes are unlikely to occur.

Battlefield V – Trailers

The first trailer is yet to be released for DICE’s attest foray although there are hints at when we might get a first glimpse at the latest title.

Towards the end of February, DICE Media Director Randy Evans announced he and his team were up to something exciting:

This sent the internet buzzing, with guesses flying this way and that as to when the trailer would drop. Youtuber Flackfire put forward the idea that, because Battlefield 1 was announced in early May of 2016 – to pre-empt a further release of details at EA Play and E3 – something similar could take place for Battlefield V.

This seems like a sound guess, knowing how EA likes to drip feed information about their annual releases in time for the holiday season. For many, the first Battlefield 1 trailer was a watershed moment in the games promotional cycle, signalling a new era of historically based, open ended FPS games. Let’s hope DICE’s next editing masterclass lives up to its name.

Battlefield 5 News

The game was originally titled Battlefield 2, according to the breaking Venture Beat article sourced above, leading some to draw the conclusion that the switch over to Battlefield V was designed to replicated Churchill’s “V” for victory symbol, although this could simply be a case of hungry fans connecting the dots wherever they can.

Following on from their first article Venture Beat came through again, with further information about the upcoming title, including details of a co-op mode and a similar reliance on a multi-protagonist campaign as in Battlefield 1; whilst a source close to USGAMER revealed that loot boxes would again be available in the next title, but only for cosmetic items (in order to dodge an internet sized bullet).

Overall, things do seem to be gearing up for another big Battlefield release, although one hopes the team at DICE can make some interesting changes and a take a few more risks. But who am I kidding, playing it safe is where the money lies.
