[Top 5] Final Fantasy XV Best Girls (Ranked)

Today, we’ll be talking about the Top 5 Best Girls present in Final Fantasy XV.

So, let’s get down to it.

The following list will not be of my preference though. I’ll disagree with the results entirely but I am writing what the whole community thinks and how they rank them. I’ll give my own opinion/ranking at the end.

5. Gentiana (Good)

Such beauty and grace is oft gone unnoticed. Truly Divine.

First up we have the ever-mysterious yet elegant Gentiana who you always see as having her eyes closed during the whole game. She rarely ever opens her eyes but when she does she draws nothing but kindness and comfort towards the sight of the beholder.

If you’ve played the whole game by now, you must already know that Gentiana is not who she really is. (Spoilers for those who haven’t played as of yet.) She is the human/physical form of the Astral/Summon Shiva in the world of Eos and acts as the High Messenger from the gods to the Oracle whereas the Oracle does the same and vice versa. She acts as the protector of the Oracle in-game and stays by her side from her birth till the end.

I must say, she is the only female NPC who gave proper motherly vibes. As if, you’d feel secure under her wing. Maybe, that’s the charming thing about her. Being caring and shrouded with mystery at the same time. Oh, and she also pops up in photos from time to time which is pretty creepy, in my opinion. But a welcome surprise.

What we love about Gentiana:

Gentle yet mysterious. Two feats that are rarely shown and presented in a perfect manner when it comes to the portrayal of a character.
You get to use her as a Summon in the latter half of the game.
Her voice, eyes and smile warm our hearts.

A shame to see her shed a tear like that.

4. Iris (Good)

Gladio’s lil’ sis’ dragging an annoyed Noct to a date. What are the chances of him ditching it?

Next up on the list is Gladio’s younger sister, Iris Amicitia. The cheery, upstart young adventurer.

She was a childhood friend of Noctis after he saved her once (watch Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV for understanding) and developed feelings for him since but deep down she knows that Noctis is to be married to Lunafreya. Nevertheless, her presence is always a welcome one and even helps out the boy band sometimes in their adventures as well. She’s got formidable strength as well.

For argument’s sake, I think Noct and Iris would do well to hook up together. I mean, they look cute together. More chemistry is shown in-game too via quests. But, eh. It’s up to the developers.

What we love about Iris:

Temporary party member which can help out the boyband for a change.
A cheerful, cheeky and somewhat flirtatious personality that warms our hearts.
Provides fond memories with Noctis and the player with her laugh and smile.

Must protect that smile.

3. Lunafreya (Better)

Ever steadfast and resilient.

The main heroine of the story. Lady Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. The Oracle of the world of Eos and the betrothed of Noctis. Since childhood, like Noct, she was called to fulfil her destiny as the Oracle and as the wife of the future True King.

Ever resilient, steadfast and headstrong, she saw it to completing her mission till the end and even after her (spoilers) death, she continues to help the boyband before facing the final boss of the game in Chapter 14. Despite almost losing the will to continue, she keeps on going. Apart from all that, her willpower as well as her beauty is unmatched.

The ending cutscene gave me enough comfort, though.

What we love about Lunafreya:

Her grace and poise under immense danger, stress and pressure.
Her unparalleled beauty and devotion to her calling.
Her unwavering love for the common people and for Noctis.

My kind of happy ending.

Well, only two girls are left. And that’s Cindy and Aranea.

Kinda confused like Prompto here. Who to pick?

2. Cindy (Better)

Not gonna lie, she is SO PRETTY!

Up next, we have our rootin’ tootin’ mechanic Cindy Aurum. She is Cid Sophiar’s granddaughter and responsible for fixing up all of the Regalia. (And also helping in upgrading it too.)

She’s got the smarts and the drive (pun intended) to give it her all in mechanical craftsmanship and occasionally helps the boyband in towing the car to any desired location on the map, so there’s that. And she’s one of Prompto’s hopeless crushes as well. Poor guy. (Can’t blame him, I’d be one too.)

Really wished we would’ve seen more of her character fleshed out though.

What we love about Cindy:

Always available for fixing and towing the Regalia.
Her sidequests upgrade the regalia to new levels.
Passionate about fixing cars while having natural beauty is awe-inspiring to everyone.

The perfect definition of service with a smile.

1. Aranea (Best)

Being a Commander does have its ups and downs. But that doesn’t stop her from doing something right. In this case, healing Prompto in the eponymous DLC.

And on #1 we have Aranea Highwind, the Commodore of the Niflheim Empire’s Third Army Corps 87th Airborne Unit. Her last name, as well as her armour, weapon and moveset, is a homage to the Dragoon sub-class existing in the Final Fantasy franchise.

Apart from having all the brains and the skills of being an essential commodore of an army, she’s got the most mesmerizing beauty while fighting the boyband and monsters alike. Additionally, she can become a temporary party member at night when hunting for Daemons as well. Sounds like a sweet deal. Also, she definitely plays an important role in Episode Prompto.

And yeah… Beauty, brains, combat prowess. Definitely would make a good Muscle Momm- I mean, Waifu. Yeah, that.

What we love about Aranea:

Becomes a temporary party member at night helping out the boy band WHILE being a commodore of the enemy army.
Helps Prompto find his purpose and gets him back on track.
Her eyes, smile as well as voice is all the more heart-warming.

Step o- I mean, reporting for duty, Commodore.

Well, there you have it. The Best Girls ranked. If it were up to me, my ranking would be:-
Iris<Cindy<Aranea<Gentiana<Lunafreya. But that’s just my preference. I’m pretty sure most of you would have your own. Well, that’s about it. See ya.

This article, which lists the 15 Video Games That Use Sex to Boost Sales, is an exhibit of games that have relied – to varying degrees – on the sexiness of their content to draw in the crowds. Do these games take it too far? Read on, and decide for yourselves!

15. Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded

Back when point-and-click adventure games were all the rage, there was one series that was synonymous with sexy time: Leisure Suit Larry. The first game, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, was released in 1987.

In 2013, the game was remade and retitled Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded. Like the original, the story takes place in the city of Lost Wages, where you follow middle-aged loser, Larry Laffer, as he embarks on a most noble quest: to finally lose his virginity. We’re rooting for you, Larry!

With beautiful hand-drawn graphics replacing ugly old pixels, Reloaded has some incredibly sexy visuals… once you get past all the sleaze, that is!

14. Soulcalibur V

Sure, the long-running Soulcalibur series has been giving us some of the flashiest fighting games in the industry. But you have to admit, one of its major draws is its eclectic roster of gorgeous female fighters. Who hasn’t gazed upon the likes of Ivy Valentine without wondering how she could possibly function as a warrior while sporting that ultimate wedgie of hers? Or Sophitia, who is basically wearing the Classical Greek equivalent of Victoria’s Secret lingerie?

Soulcalibur V gets rid of many of its most recognizable babes, such as Taki and Seong Mi-na, but Project Soul made sure newcomers like Natsu and Pyrrha are just as nice (though somewhat uncomfortable) to look at – questionably impractical costumes and all!

13. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

There has always been more to the Metal Gear Solid series than just stealth and its gruff hero, Snake.

Case in point, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gives us Quiet, a sniper who likes wearing next to nothing, despite the fact that she spends 90% of the game in the blazing heat of the dessert.

And when not taking out targets from a thousand miles away, Quiet enjoys rolling around on the ground, showering in her underwear, and jumping out of helicopters. Sexy? Yes. Does it make sense? Most probably not!

12. Skullgirls, Skullgirls Encore

It’s become an unwritten rule that if you’re making a fighting game, you must have at least one scantily clad girl in the roster.

Well, Skullgirls takes that concept and runs away with it, by having a roster consisting entirely of women – and most of them are of the impossibly, inconveniently attired variety. Seriously, Parasoul’s skirt is so short you could end up mistaking her for someone who isn’t wearing any pants.

Did we mention, though, that these girls are totally badass? Skullgirls Encore introduces males to the roster, but a majority of the new challengers are still women who’d break your jaw as soon as you look at them funny. One of them is Eliza, a bloodletting celebrity diva rocking an Ancient Egyptian motif. She’s as sexy as hell, as long as you don’t mind someone whose skeleton can literally jump out of her own skin!

11. Catherine

Catherine is one of the most intriguing puzzle games to come out in years, thanks to four things: excellent, brain-twisting gameplay; a story involving a bloodcurdling mystery; breathtaking cut scenes; and of course, hot, steamy, under-the-bedcovers action!

You play as Vincent Brooks, an ordinary man who suddenly finds himself torn between 1) his sophisticated, intelligent, beautiful, and loyal girlfriend of several years, Katherine, and 2) a bubbly, free-spirited, sexually-charged nymph named Catherine. What follows is a story of love, lust, temptation, devotion, and betrayal.

10. Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft has been a gaming sex symbol for decades. In 2013, however, the world was introduced to the reboot, and a heroine who actually looks like a real woman, as opposed to a pair of polygonal breasts that magically sprouted a body.

Who’d have thought realistic proportions and more conservative clothing could actually be sexier? But there’s more to this new Lara than just her stunning looks. Lara’s tough, intelligent, compassionate, and adventurous, and we see all that in the game. Not to mention she’s more practical than her previous incarnations. Who in her right mind would run through the jungle wearing short shorts that look like they were painted on to her butt, when she could be protecting those long legs by putting on pants?

9. Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson

Ah, Senran Kagura. When your video game series is made in Japan and stars a bunch of buxom female ninjas, you know exactly what you’re getting into.

One of the most recent entries in the franchise, Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, is a side-scrolling beat ‘em up exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. You control impractically dressed shinobi warriors as they fight their way through waves of other impractically dressed shinobi warriors.

Expect a lot of uncomfortable camera angles, and weird, jiggly things that look like breasts, but behave like nothing you’ll ever find on the chest of a real-life woman.

8. Gal*Gun: Double Peace

After a while, it gets boring shooting monsters and terrorists between the eyes. So why not use your love gun to shoot girls in their erogenous zones?

Well, at least that’s what the developers of Gal*Gun: Double Peace were probably thinking when they made their game – a rail shooter that has you shooting “pheromone shots” at girls to make them fall head over heels in love with you. Why? So you can find your true love, of course! Now, doesn’t that make sense?

And what’s a game about falling in love if it doesn’t involve see-through clothing and loads of sensuous moaning?

7. TERA: Rising

Free-to-play TERA: Rising has all the elements of a classic fantasy MMORPG: hundreds of quests, crafting, grinding, and of course, warrior women in ridiculous skimpy armor.

Developer Bluehole Studio went all out designing the looks of the game’s female avatars. Its bevy of beauties range from the tall, busty and long-legged to the tiny and adorable... only those costumes leave so little to the imagination that it gets a little weird. To be fair, some of the male costumes are just as revealing.

Also, to its credit, TERA: Rising impresses with its real-time combat. In fact, it was one of the first few MMORPGs to do away with the “click on enemy till it dies” gameplay. In TERA: Rising, you have to actively dodge strikes, and your attacks need to be timed correctly to land.

It’s among the sexiest games in the industry, and thankfully, it’s also fun to play!

6. Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2

Why do we love Bayonetta? She’s a badass who knows just how hot she is.

Bayonetta is strong, intelligent, witty, elegant... and she owns her sexuality with all the confidence of a queen. She has one of the most seductive resting faces in gaming – and she wears glasses too, which warms the hearts of nerds everywhere. Did we mention she was asleep in a coffin for 500 years? We’re betting her breath still smells heavenly.

Her legs are also a mile long each, which is kind of weird. But hey, she manages to make her unusual proportions sexy, so that’s definitely a plus. And she’s got the moves and the weapons to match those killer looks. Pistols in both hands? How yesterday. Bayonetta has guns attached to her feet. And those long, luscious locks? They transform into giant demons – which must make her the terror of all hairdressers.

Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are two of the sexiest games you can play today, and we’re glad to say they’re just awesome.

5. Blade & Soul

This fantasy martial arts MMORPG from South Korea has been wowing gamers all over the world with its stunning graphics. And by that we mean the exquisite CG environments.

Okay, we also mean the character models, specifically the women and their stimulating yet cringe-worthy wardrobe choices. These gals have got it all: unreasonably revealing costumes, skin that glistens as if they’ve just emerged from a tub of oil, extra-thick eyelashes, and voluminous, elegant hair. You have to wonder: are they getting ready for a battle, or a beauty contest?

Fortunately, Blade & Soul isn’t just a good-looking game starring uncomfortably hypersexualized women. Its battle system is in real time, and employs a combo system that brings to mind the fighting game genre. For those outside Asia who are eager to play one of the sexiest games in the industry, they won’t have to wait long to try Blade & Soul; it’s coming out in Europe and the USA in early 2016.

4. Lollipop Chainsaw

A cheerleader in a microskirt who fights using a chainsaw? Well of course you know it’s going to be about more than just zombies!

Lollipop Chainsaw is a hack and slash action game starring the smoking hot Juliet Starling, a zombie-hunting cheerleader who has a head for a boyfriend. Actually, the boyfriend originally came with a body, until she had to lop his head off to prevent his zombification. Did we mention he survived decapitation?

If that sounds ridiculous, that’s because the entire game is insane. Zombie rockers, outrageous violence, cut scenes featuring Juliet in compromising positions, and campy dialogues replete with sexual innuendos are what Lollipop Chainsaw is all about. So if you enjoy your gore which huge dollops of sex, Lollipop Chainsaw is the game to play.

3. Dead or Alive 5 Last Round

Some say the Dead or Alive series is nothing more than a jiggle physics simulation disguised as a fighting game. While that would be unfair to the series – which has produced some genuinely solid fighting titles – you can’t blame the detractors. One look at the women in the franchise’s ever-expanding roster should be enough to tell you why.

From Kasumi to Tina, these are some of the most titillating character designs in the history of gaming. And you can tell where all the money you gave the franchise by buying their games went to by how realistically those CG breasts bounce. Love it or hate it, the developers have mastered the hard science of video game breast physics.

As the latest entry in the series, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round boasts excellent visuals. But hey, when it isn’t busy being naughty, the game is actually a great fighter – one you’ll still play long after you’ve gotten over (or gotten tired of) its explicitly sexual content.

2. Scarlet Blade

There are games that aren’t afraid of exposing a little skin, of resorting to fan service every now and then to appeal to those among the audience who enjoy that sort of thing.

And then there’s Scarlet Blade.

Up to now, we’re not quite sure what Scarlet Blade (a.k.a Queen’s Blade in Korea) is about, but it seems to be a science fiction MMORPG populated by femme fatales who harbor a passionate hatred for sensible clothing. Seriously, the costumes in Scarlet Blade spit in the face of physics, and make the scantily clad women of fantasy games such as World of Warcraft look like Maria von Trapp from The Sound of Music.

Simply put, Scarlet Blade boasts an over-the-top raunchiness that’s hard to swallow. It may be one of the sexiest games in existence, but that comes at the cost of good taste. But hey, at least we can’t fault the game for not knowing its audience!

1. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3

With Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, the Dead or Alive franchise isn’t even trying anymore. Here’s a game that’s being developed for the express purpose of having you ogle 3D female body parts.

Well, okay, maybe they are trying – just a teeny bit. You see, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, like the previous titles in the beach volleyball spinoffs, isn’t a fighting game, but a sports game! Where you just happen to have the option to dress the girls in tiny pieces of string, fabric, and sometimes, the local island plant life. These girls are practically playing in the nude, but hey, as long as the important bits are (barely) covered up, we can still classify this as sports!

Definitely one of the sexiest games coming out next year!

New Games Geting Gorgeous

Girls and Games, Hot Chocolate and Marshmallow, these are all things I like. Going through this list, We’ll be looking at the gorgeous girls in gaming for upcoming games and recently released games.

All the following ladies are worthy of applause for attractiveness, but the girls in this list are much more than that. These beauties are kick ass. They’re the ones who make us pause for screenshots when we should be taking out that mob of enemies behind us.

Cindy puts a twist on the stereotypical greaser mechanic image. And while her work may be gritty, her body is nothing but eye catching.

It’s great to see Cindy is not only a total sandy haired, booty short, opened shirt babe; she’s a working woman catching us off guard with her raw skill.

I can’t wait to cruise around town with this badass heroine. I’ve got a hunch she’s going to pull the party out of plenty of jams in FFXV. Though, I’m not expecting to see an airship -fingers crossed.

We’re looking forward to taking a ride around town with this sexy mechanic. Cindy’s rugged take on the typical token hot girl is a refreshing change.

9. BLACK DESERT

I was trying to stick to individual characters for this list, but when I think sexy games, there’s no way to avoid Black Desert. AAA quality graphics swarm this massive MMORPG from top to bottom, and they didn’t skimp on the character creation.

Everything about this image is utterly fetching. In game models, running around with lifelike hair, perfect skin, and realistic expressions, make Black Desert hard to ignore. However, the real draw lies in the clothing design.

It looks like Black Desert took a page from Vindictus. Sexy items galore! The in-game shop is full of appeasing outfits. Now, this is how we raise money.

Take my word. These pictures do not serve these gorgeous character models justice. Watch the babes of Black Desert come to life via character creation. For someone who spends a ludicrous amount of time at the creation screen, I’m equally excited and afraid of the English release.

8. Lightning: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Lightning Strikes The Same Place 3 Times

Lightning comes back around for a third adventure, proving her to be a huge success in becoming a darling game icon. This is the last (so they say) saga of lightning. She traverses the world, choosing which souls to save, and which must be ignored in the coming end.

Yeah, girl’s got game.

Showing more skin and attitude the third time around.

Lightning grows more spirit with each incarnation. If her spirit isn’t appealing enough, Square stepped up their game with tons of unlockable outfits, ranging from cute, to sexy, to downright cool. Lightning’s got you covered.

Leaning over can be dangerous in that bodice

It’s a new game, Lightning is the star and she wants you to know it. And I gotta say, I do not mind Lightning taking on the new world order.

She wears it well.

Lightning is sporting some of our favorite classic styles and does so in brilliance. With a multitude of looks, Lightning is severing hearts with gorgeous limit breaks wielding amazing weapons with power and ease.

Lightning spices it up

Lightning’s wardrobe is expansive and wonderful, no question. The best thing about Lightning’s apparel is the way she pulls her outfits off. Her stance, attitude, and hair bring out the sexiest potential each garment has to offer.

Ah fantasy armor...

Lightning is still in the business of roping us into buying her games. Her third installment is still looking at a PC release within the next year. Here’s hoping the PC edition comes with some extra perks and advanced graphics options.

7. Aloy: Horizon

Tribal beauty

Alloy is a survivor, scavenging all she can from machines. Despite being a mere human, Alloy thrives in pushing against the robotic creatures who’ve overtaken and ruled her world for over a thousand years.

You know nothing Jon Snow

She’s the only thing standing between the survival of organic life and dominion under a mechanical rule.

Alloy explains what would have happened if Merrida never went back home in Brave. We can’t wait to watch Alloy show Katniss how it’s done.

One thing's for sure, Alloy will join the league of female archers.

Horizon is due out solely for PS4 in 2016.

6: Tifa Lockhart Final Fantasy VII: Remake

The One That Got Away

With the official announcement of a remake, Final Fantasy fans are loosing it. It’s been ages since the original game’s release in ‘97. So, you can bet there’s a whole new generation of gamers out there who missed the original launch. The best part of the remake is that we get to meet Tifa all over again.

We’re in 100% in favor of an updated Tifa.

Tifa Lockhart, much like Lara Croft, will forever live in the hearts of gamers worldwide, despite her original debut as a pile of sexy, stiffly moving polygons. We had to resort to our imaginations to fully appreciate the bombshell beauty.

Back in the day, this was all it took to steal hearts

Since her creation, fandoms have run off and created all manners of erotic 3d fantasies of the iconic character. Sexy cosplayers have gone all out on bringing this character to life, and yet we still hunger to play her game with the enhanced visuals some indie erotic developers have been able to produce.

And this is one of the safer pics

While I love sexy Tifa pics as much as the next guy, something is missing. Tifa isn’t just about looking hot. Tifa is about kicking ass.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy

Seriously, this heartthrob has been bringing fists to gun fights since the PS1. She’s both barkeeper and bouncer, and she can tame men who run around with swords bigger than she is. Tifa Lockhart is a powerhouse.

5. Bayonetta/Cereza: Bayonetta 2

You Knew

Pleasure to see you again, Darling.

I really wanted to try avoiding Bayonetta due to the obvious nature of her design -yet alas, it’s pointless to fight it... Bayonetta is raw sex appeal. To say she doesn’t move games, is a falsehood.

I’m about to turn myself in.

There’s a reason Bayonetta practically lives in “Top Sexiest __ ” lists. It’s because Bayonetta is oozing sexiness. Her dress, her voice, her walk -good god, even when she’s banishing spirits she’s losing clothes.

So many flavors of sexy.

As if long legs, gun’s for heels, and all around alluring physique, Bayonetta has all the costumes and fanfaire, making sure there’s a version of her to captivate every gamer out there. Way to cast a wide net SEGA.

Sex, heels, and “climax” attacks aside, Bayonetta kicks ass. She calls no man boss, keeps demons and angels under her thumb, and is the star of two, very well made games.

That said, we can’t wait for Bayonetta 3. We’re looking at you SEGA.

4. Faith Connors: Mirror's Edge 2

Running through our minds all day, Faith Connors is the Etzio of her time. This parkour master and dark haired beauty, will raise your heart rate, even when you’re not running from the feds.

All her poses are picture perfect

Faith’s realistic character model are in some ways more attractive than her more barbie-proportioned peers from other AAA titles. We see a character who feels more human than cartoon.

Amazingly accurate facial features

Sometimes a simpler take on beauty can be more refreshing than going over the top.

Self admiration

Whether Faith looks curious or dead serious, the always looks gorgeous. Peter Parker might sell more photos if Faith took a trip to Spidey’s NY City.

3. Senua: Hellblade

Her favorite game is Dark Souls -blindfolded.

Senua comes to us looking like she’s about to take the stage of a Black Metal concert. She looks like she’s killed more people than George R.R. Martin. On top of it all, she’s still somehow sexy.

Ah, Kim Kardashian. Sometimes she’s hot, sometimes she’s, well, not. Either way, she’s famous for a whole bun-ch of reasons. Here, we’re going to look at some of video games’ most beautiful women. It’s hard to pick as, well let’s face it; all women have to be stunning to star in a video game. Don’t ask me why, I didn’t make the rules. I guess they have to have tight bodies because of all that running around us fat, slobby gamers make them do. Anyway, let’s get started, shall we?

10. Miranda Lawson – Mass Effect 2

Super hot and super brainy can go hand in hand, and no one proves this to be true more than Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 2. Okay, she has been genetically altered, which may be cheating a bit, but who’s complaining? Strong leadership skills and a forceful nature might deter some men, but she’s a perfect match for Commander Shepard-like people (yes, myself included!)

9. Jaina Proudmoore – WoW/HearthStone

Leader of the powerful group of magi, the Kirin Tor, Jaina has cast a spell upon many a gamer over the years. As the most powerful human sorceress alive, she’s not someone you’d want to upset, so don’t go forgetting anniversaries or anything like that. In Hearthstone, for a mere one mana cost, you can perform a ‘mirror image’ spell, effectively cloning two more Jainas. This makes it one of my favourite spells of the game.

8. Cortana – Halo

Any kind of lasting relationship with Cortana is going to be tricky to say the least, what with her being, you know, not real (yes, no one on this list is real I suppose, but let’s not go there). Originally cloned from a copy of scientist, Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, creator of the SPARTAN-II program, Cortana has human memories, thoughts and values. As the games progress, she looks less hologram-y and more naked woman-y. When’s Halo 5 out again?

7. Kasumi – Dead or Alive

Winner of the first Dead or Alive tournament, and a runaway shinobi, Kasumi is compassionate and kind, the kind of girl you’d take home to your mum and dad. She’s averse to fighting, probably because it’s too uncomfortable with all that ‘chest buoyancy’ she has to carry around and only fights if she has to; like when defeating DOATEC forces, or when loved ones don’t notice her new haircut or something.

I might get some stick here for choosing Cammy over Chun Li, or Chun-k Li, as I like to call her. I mean seriously, have you seen those thighs recently? No, for me it’s Cammy all the way. Firstly she’s English, so we have that in common. We could then go down the pub and have a few pints. She looks like a bitter drinker to me.

5. Lightning – Final Fantasy XIII

A deep and thoughtful young lady is our first entry into the top 5. Lightning from FF XIII is very independent, and will leave you behind if you can’t keep up with her. But for those of you who endure, she will open up and reveal her caring, compassionate side. Oh, and she’s incredibly hot too.

Little is really known about Resident Evil’s Ada Wong. She’s a secret agent with skills in espionage and assassination. She plays it cool, but I’m not so sure she actually is. Think about it, she always seems to pop up wherever Leon Kennedy is. Racoon City, Europe, dirty sewers, secret labs, she’s always there. I reckon she’s a total stalker. I bet she has a ‘Leon shrine’ in her bedroom, with a jar of his hair and doodles that say Ada Kennedy, or Leon and Ada 4 eva. Still, a definite hottie.

“Oh my god! She’s a woman!” I imagine was uttered by many a gamer in 1986 after completing the original Metroid game. Not by me, however. I’m far too young to have been playing video games in 1986. Still, I repeatedly played Super Metroid until I completed it in under 3 hours to get the ‘best’ ending. You know the one I mean. The first mainstream playable female in a video game, everyone else on this list owes Samus a pat on the back. Respect.

2. Tifa Lockhart – Final Fantasy VII

Tifa Lockhart is one of the playable characters in Final Fantasy VII. As a kid, you know she was one of the ‘popular’ girls, probably a cheerleader or something. She definitely has a few issues, resulting from the death of her mother at a young age, and despite being bright and optimistic, she also enjoys beating people to death with knuckle-dusters. Still with those amazing looks, it’s no wonder she’s so popular. Just try to stay on her good side.

There, of course can only be one winner, and that winner can of course only be, Lara Croft.

Before 1996, aside from our number 3, Samus, most video game women were either back ups to the male protagonists, or damsels in distress (Yes, I’m looking at you, Peach and Daisy. I mean how many times do you guys need to be rescued?).

Then Tomb Raider came along, and with it, Lara; a strong, independent, aristocratic, somersaulting dual-wielding, pistol shooting, and ultimately unobtainable, mega babe.

Her backstory has changed a fair bit over the years, perhaps adding to her mystery and allure, but what’s for certain is she’s a highborn Brit with a thirst for adventure.

The media have, of course, focused on her numerous boob jobs over the years, which have seen both growth and reduction. Lara, of course, has risen above the gossip and never commented on the subject. I think the reality is that they were in actual fact, ‘boob bags,’ where she could store all those med packs and ammo she found lying on the floor around the world. Probably custom made by Versace or someone.

Final thoughts

Well there sees the end of my favourite 10 video game babes who are hotter than Kim Kardashian. As I look back over the entries, I realise that they are all not just incredibly gorgeous, but they are all hardcore ass kickers too. I guess I really have a type…or deep rooted issues, either way, I hope you enjoyed my top 10. We’re back with more gunslinging video game babes!

What can we say? We adore video game babes with guns to bits. And there are so many lovely sharpshooting ladies in gaming that to do them all justice, we’d need more than one top 10 list. So here’s another!

We won’t be mentioning Lara Croft, Quiet, and Jill Valentine in this article anymore, as they were already included in the previous list, which you can check out here.

10. Zoey, from Left 4 Dead

This college cutie was studying to become a filmmaker – until the zombie apocalypse turned the world inside out. It’s not everyday, though, that one’s addiction to horror movies ends up serving as educational material. Watching hundreds of hours of zombie flicks has given Zoey an edge over those who watch inconsequential nonsense like Glee and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

It also helps that her father was a cop who taught her how to shoot things that move in the face. Zoey’s a natural with guns, as anyone who’s a fan of Left 4 Dead can attest to. Hot!!

9. Elphelt Valentine, from Guilty Gear Xrd –SIGN-

Weapons of mass destruction rarely come as sweet-natured as Elphelt Valentine. This candy-colored beauty loves nature, animals, and is obsessed with looking as feminine as possible. We suppose that’s the reason for the giant bust window on her otherwise conservative wedding dress.

When she’s not busy distracting her opponents with that window to heaven, Elphelt likes sniping targets from afar with her rifle. She’s not above blasting away opponents up-close with her shotgun, however. She also uses a cannon, a pistol, grenades, and more unconventional “weapons” such as a bouquet of flowers and champagne. One thing we’d like to know? Where she keeps all those tools!

8. Miss Fortune, from League of Legends

Sarah Fortune is a bounty with a giant hat and a giant pair of… pistols. She calls them “Shock and Awe,” which is fitting, given how one look at them is enough to make your jaw fall to the floor. We’re still talking about the guns, mind you.

Though often dressed in a provocative pirate-themed costume, Miss Fortune hates pirates – and for good reason. When she was just a child, her mother was killed by one. This started her on her quest to become the best bounty hunter from Bilgewater. Now she has her own ship and crew. Bouncing into battle amidst a hail of bullets, Miss Fortune aims to find her mother’s murderer and bring prosperity to her home town.

7. Claire Redfield, from Resident Evil

Nothing sets us on fire quite like redheads. And few video game babes can ignite the flames of passion like Claire Redfield from the Resident Evil can.

Claire is the sister of the boulder-punching Chris Redfield. Though she doesn’t have the latter’s meat guns, she more than makes up for it with her firearms proficiency. She first appeared in Resident Evil 2, which follows her attempts to find her brother and escape zombie-infested Raccoon City. She has since then appeared in numerous games in the franchise, making mincemeat of zombies and even going head-to-head with the evil Umbrella Corporation.

6. Widowmaker, from Overwatch

Possessing long, luscious legs and hips that’ll stop your heart, this black widow from Overwatch is a dame to die for.

Widowmaker is the consummate assassin, needing only one shot from her sniper rifle to put her target out of their misery. But she wasn’t always so cold. Once, she was Amelie Lacroix, the wife of Overwatch agent Gerard Lacroix. But then she was captured by the Talon terrorist organization, brainwashed, physiologically altered, and transformed into a killer with neither fear nor guilt – the perfect living weapon.

Few femme fatales are as dangerous as they are tragic, making her one of the most interesting video game babes ever created.

5. Parasoul, from Skullgirls

Not since Jessica Rabbit have we been this much in love with a cartoon character.

Parasoul, from the fighting game Skullgirls, is a princess of house Renoir, a.k.a. Canopy Kingdom’s royalty. But don’t let her lofty station fool you. This leggy redhead is no Peach; she’s a badass with a Luger P08, and she isn’t afraid to use it. She also owns Krieg, an umbrella-shaped Living Weapon. But perhaps the most dangerous tool in her arsenal? That super tight, tiny dress that offers glimpses into paradise. Eyes up, soldier! Or you’ll end up staring at her feet!

As a leader, Parasoul is wise and caring, yet firm and just. On the battlefield, she fights with grace and cunning, never losing her dignified poise despite danger. With the help of her personal cadre soldiers, the Black Egrets, she aims to rid her kingdom of threats like the Skullgirl – a woman driven to evil and bestowed great power by merging with the Skull Heart artifact.

4. Maya, from Borderlands

First, they gave us Lilith. Then, they gave us Maya. The people behind Borderlands sure know how to make their women as sexy as hell.

Like Lilith, Maya is a Siren. Her identification as such at a young age made her vulnerable to exploitation by a religious order, who eventually used her to strike fear into the masses. Tiring of this injustice and longing for adventure, Lilith executed her handlers and fled to Pandora to learn more about Sirens.

This spitfire is adept at gunplay; with any of Borderland 2’s bazillion firearms, she can litter a battlefield with corpses within seconds. She also has the Phaselock ability, which can suck enemies into a focal point, crushing the life out of them.

With her sensuous, slender frame, exotic tattoos, vampire-pale skin, sexy blue hair, and smoky, seductive eyes, Maya’s sex appeal is off the charts. Definitely one of the most delectable video game babes in the industry!

3. Alyx Vance, from Half-Life 2

Alyx Vance is already inscribed in gaming’s history books as one of the first A.I. companions who isn’t a total dolt. Not only can she take care of herself, she can hack alien computers and bypass security systems like it’s child’s play. Most surprising of all, while a wimpy egghead like Gordon Freeman needs his HEV suit for protection, Alyx blazes into battle in nothing more than her scruffy jeans and faded jacket. Now THAT’s badass.

Not to mention Half-Life 2 and its subsequent episodes would be as dry as a 10,000-year-old mummy without her wit, charm, and sense of humor. Few video game babes can match Alyx’s intelligence, skill, and charisma – and she doesn’t even have to look like she just came off the set of a Brazzers photoshoot to look gorgeous!

2. Jinx, from League of Legends

She’s cosplayed by thousands of girls worldwide. She has a video on YouTube that has over 30 million views. She even has her own theme song, an anthem to anarchy that’ll worm its way into your ears and stay there till you drop dead from too much headbanging.

As one of League of Legends’ most iconic Champions, does Jinx even need an introduction?

This irrepressible bundle of energy is chaos incarnate. What can we say? She just enjoys blowing stuff up. And she’s got the tools for the job, including her minigun, Pow-Pow; her shark-shaped rocket launcher; a shock pistol; toothy snare grenades appropriately dubbed Flame Chompers; and the Super Mega Death Rocket, which probably needs no description.

There’s no taming this wild child; she does what she wants and she’ll do it all with a grin. As for her outfit… doesn’t she ever get cold?? And if her tight figure and that crazy, sexy smile don’t bewitch you, then those crimson eyes will.

1. Tracer, from Overwatch

The cavalry is here, and we couldn’t be happier about it.

Sure, Widowmaker is stunning, Reaper is badass, and Winston is all sorts of cool… but the real star of the cinematic trailer for Blizzard’s latest IP? The British time-hopping adventurer, Tracer.

An accident involving an experimental flight program desynchronized Tracer from time’s natural flow, turning her into something akin to a ghost… until Winston created a device securing her to the present. The gadget also lets her slow down and speed up time at will, an ability that helped her become one of Overwatch’s best agents. Though Overwatch has been dissolved, Tracer continues to use her gifts to fight for truth and justice.

Aside from the cool origin story, there are so many things to love about Tracer. She's got a sense of humor. Her agility and skill with her twin pistols are top-notch. She's ridiculously cute, with her adorable freckles and button nose, and stylish hair. Her costume, while showing off her lithe figure, is functional. And do we even have to mention how sexy that English accent is?

But most of all, she’s a bonafide hero – and a bubbly, optimistic one in an industry overcrowded with dark brooding types. Talk about a breath of fresh air!

Esports athlete Kim “Aphrodite” Ga Young is proof that beauty + intelligence = entirely new levels of sexy.

Born in 1988, Aphrodite is a Terran player for MVP, a professional South Korean StarCraft II team. She first came to the public’s attention in the female-only tournament Zowie Divina in 2011. Initially considered an underdog, she defied expectations and made it all the way to the finals, where she defeated flo and won the whopping $5,000 grand prize. After joining team StarTale in 2013, she went on to win various matches against top athletes like Eve, Barbie, and the South African Protoss player, Ananke. If you haven’t heard of Jessica Nigri, you’re either a cave-dwelling hermit or a Tibetan monk.

Nigri is everywhere these days, from modeling photos to YouTube. She can even be heard in anime (she voices Sonico in the English dub of Super Sonico: The Animation)! What she's best known for, however, is her cosplay, which has been scientifically proven to fry people's brains. Her cosplay is so good that she’s been hired to serve as the spokesmodel for various entertainment entities, including Warner Bros. Games, Ubisoft, Tecmo Koei, Amazing Arizona Comic Con 2011, Montreal Comiccon 2013, Ottawa Pop Expo, and more.

And yes, she’s a gamer too, who’s into games like Pokemon, League of Legends, Gears of War, and Assassin’s Creed.

Move over Kerrigan, we’ve got a new Zerg Queen: popular streamer and StarCraft II player, Kaitlyn “kaitlyn” Richelle!

This Canadian cutie was originally on team Protoss throughout middle school and high school, when Brood War was still all the rage. But she was eventually seduced by the Swarm, and has been invading our hearts and assimilating us into her fandom ever since.

kaitlyn rose to fame when she started streaming her StarCraft II matches in 2012. This year, The Daily Dot included her in their list of “10 people who defined Twitch in 2014.” And she deserves it, because few hot gamer girls are as dedicated to gaming as kaitlyn is.

Are you into esports? Then you’re likely already under the spell of Rachel Quirico, an esports journalist and host at Cyber Solutions Agency.

Her job involves traveling and hosting esports events. She also interviews professional players, who probably go weak at the knees the moment she and her long, silky legs walk into the room.

This elegant beauty is an admitted PC and Xbox devotee, with a particular interest in StarCraft II, Team Fortress 2, and Call of Duty. Oh, she's amazing at League of Legends, too.

Oh Go-eun, or Tasha, is the leader of Spiral Cats, a professional South Korean team of cosplay babes so hot they’ve been known to melt eyeballs. The team was founded in 2009, and in 2012, Tasha and her hot gamer girls helped spearhead cosplaying as a new form of video game advertising. The rest, as they say, is history.

To describe Tasha’s cosplay as fantastic would be an understatement. She’s done exclusive work for Blizzard as Diablo III’s Demon Hunter and Witch Doctor, and blew minds with her epic Kerrigan. She’s cosplayed Katarina and Ahri from League of Legends, Akasha from Dota 2, and so much more.

22-year-old Lia, or SSSniperWolf as she likes to be called, is an insanely popular YouTube star with hundreds of videos and over one million subscribers. While’s she’s most well-known for showing off her sweet shooting skills in her Call of Duty videos, she also plays Grand Theft Auto V, Destiny, and other games.

She also does video game and anime cosplay – cosplay so epic they’re the stuff of internet legend. Ah, who am I kidding? I love this s***. This is the best job in the world. But enough about me. Let’s get on with what we’re here to do. There’s no rules with one. It’s a straight up contest of the ten best chicks from the Tekken series. Let’s get it on!

10: Kunimitsu

But who’s behind the mask, and more importantly, where the f*** is my wallet?

Minor Boss. Thief.

What’s up with the mask? (I know what’s up with the mask, it’s a rhetorical question.) Kunimitsu steals and she steals from anyone and everyone. Despite chance after chance with different criminal groups, she just can’t seem to stop herself. Consequently she’s made a few enemies along the way. So what can you say about this girl that probably hasn’t already been said in a court of law? Kunimitsu is loyal only to her grandfather, and even there she seems to have issues. She yearns to get her hands on Grandfather Yoshimitsu’s powerful sword so she can make a copy for herself, and rule the world, probably. Orr something, I don’t know.

Kunimitsu went missing there for a while and I noticed her absence from the game, but she made a welcome return for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and I think most people appreciated that. She may not be the strongest kid in the game, but she’s fast, agile, and into gymnastics. Think about the possibilities is all I’m saying.

But here’s the thing: Is she a super-hot babe under the mask, or a monster? Do you care with a body like that? Take the chance if you want to.

9: Ling Xiaoyu

Entering the tournament back in Tekken 3, Ling has been a regular in every consequent release. I don’t know though. I mean, seriously, who enters a fighting tournament so they can build the amusement park of their dreams? (Ling, obviously. It’s another rhetorical musing.)

But she’s hot. Of course she’s hot. But it’s not like very much ever seems to work out for her in the long run. The amusement park is a bit of a disaster, she loses control of a time machine, almost kills the wrong person…. And she only dreams she saves Jin….Talk about issues. But if you can put up with a girl who loses even when she wins, and you think you can foot the probable future therapy bills, then yes, keep on dreaming, this could be the girl for you.

8: Zafina

I always liked Zafina. How could you not love someone who starts taunting their opponents before the fight even starts? The only thing better is the whole ‘I told you, so’ kind of vibe when she exudes when she wins. There’s not much going on story arc wise with Zaf. I thought she had some somewhere but I must have been thinking of another Tekken female character. That said, it’s enough to know that she entered the Iron Fist tournament in order to stop two stars collapsing. Isn’t that cool? She’s also got the whole smoky eyes thing going on. Nice.

7: Julia Chang

Julia is the adopted daughter of Michelle Chang. She fights like Michelle Chang. They both wear feathers in their hair. And they're both bitching hot. But I don’t know about attempting to reforest Arizona as must have back story.

Julia’s no angelic born again hippie though. She’s not as loyal to some as they might think but that just adds to her allure. It also makes her a bit of a dark horse, and why not. We all have skeletons buried in the backyard somewhere, right? She is the perfect fit for the environmentally minded eco gamer in us all.

6: Alisa Bosconovitch

Ok, so now we get weird. Only the Japanese could come up with something, and someone, as crazy as Alisa. She’s so perfect isn’t she, with those deep green eyes, beautiful hair, and always so properly dressed too! Then you blink, and she’s flying across the screen with chainsaws where her arms should be….Mental. So, yes, Alisa is a synthetic, but one with ‘feelings.’ The perfect girl of the future?

5: Asuka Kazama

Asuka’s ending movie in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has got to be one of the surrealist game endings I’ve ever witnessed. I can’t tell if it’s ridiculous or genius. But back to Asuka. She is stunning, she’s in your face and overconfident to the point of arrogance. She seemingly spends her time wandering around Osaka breaking up fights, but has no qualms starting her own wherever she goes.

Quite frankly, I think she’s crazy, but she’s also hot, and where I’m from, still underage, so I will say no more.

4: Anna Williams

Nina’s sister. Irish. Femme Fatale.

Considering the violent rivalry Anna and her sister Nina have got going on, coming fourth isn’t going to make Anna very happy. Anna is definitely the more caring of the two, but is she hotter? Not according to me. Hey it’s my post, my choice. Either way, you gotta love an Irish vixen in a Chinese dress; especially one that hasn’t aged throughout any of the tournaments.

3: Jun Kazama

The quintessential perfect older woman fantasy.

Oh Oh, it’s gaming’s favorite mother of the ultimate problem child….It’s….Jun. Ok, so she was still in her early 20s when she made her Tekken debut, but that still makes her forty something now...That’s assuming she's still alive, as she went missing a while back and we haven’t seen her since. When she is around though, she’s known for being without fear. The best way to describe her would be as a gracefully understated beauty.

2: Nina Williams

Nina is defo. the cold bitchy one of the two sisters. Like Anna, she’s also aged very well. She also loves showing off that body whenever she can and I won’t take issue with her over that. When she’s not being indifferent or bitter toward the opposite sex, she flirts and flaunts her assets around in her trademark skin tight purple cat suits.

With that blonde hair and blue eyes, someone this pretty, this hot, should not have such a difficult f****** combination in order to access her special throws. It is mind bendingly frustrating trying to pull them off.

Emilie, or Lili, as she is more commonly known, should not be fighting in Iron Fist events. It should not be her hobby. She’s way too hot for all that jazz. She is the most graceful and elegant fighter in the game as far as I am concerned. Some might say she’s spoiled; others that she’s unstable mentally. I would agree with both statements. But she is without doubt though the easiest thing on the eyes in the entire Tekken series. The fact she really seems to annoy Nina just by breathing makes me want to kiss her all the more.

How can a female video game character be so hot, wearing so many clothes?

There is still a lot of time left in the year though and we can look forward to even more exciting titles yet to come. These games are either introducing fun new characters or bringing back old beloved ones. So the question then becomes: what are the hottest video game babes for this year?

10. Alisa (Tekken)

Tekken is one of the most famous and iconic fighting games on the market. The roster has steadily grown from the meager 8 characters in the arcade version to 26 in Tekken 7. Alisa is one of the characters that appeared later on in the franchise. She was an android that served as the main protagonist together with Lars Alexandersson in the scenario campaign in Tekken 6: Bloodline rebellion.

While this pink haired beauty is an android, you would never be able to tell unless her head or arms fell off, which they often do, so she still qualifies for being on this list despite being a robot. While she looks very pretty and dainty, don’t let that fool you. She is a dangerous death machine.

9. Bayonetta (Cereza)

She looks way too happy for someone who slept through the last 500 years!

If you dig a mysterious chick with a bit of a rebellious side, then Cereza from the Bayonetta series is for you. She wakes up in a coffin that has been submerged in a lake after slumbering for 500 years. Remember that next time you oversleep and you might not feel so bad. She can’t remember what happened to her but she is hounded by angelic hosts that she has to fight in order for her past mystery to be resolved.

She is a dark Umbra witch that digs tight black pants with high heels, and a low cut back that can’t serve any other purpose than to entice more males to purchase the game.

8. Yuna (Final Fantasy X, X-2)

This is the innocent Yuna we grew to love

It seems that a lot of gaming companies are making money off of simply re-releasing old games over and over again on new consoles. Final Fantasy X and X-2 “remastered” are being released again this year, only this time it is for the Ps4. That is fantastic though since it allows us to place Yuna on this list.

In FFX Yuna was the modest summoner that we cared deeply for. She was pretty and played the very traditional female Final Fantasy role. Then FF X-2 happened. Yuna donned the short shorts and started duel-wielding pistols. The hypersexualized nature of the sequel unfortunately had a negative impact on how the game was received, but Yuna was still awesome and widely liked!

7. Nina Williams (Tekken)

Nina Williams is one of the characters that have been a part the Tekken series throughout the entire franchise. Her mysterious background still hasn’t been completely resolved. We know that she is an assassin that was trained very early on, and we also know that she has a big conflict with her sister Anna. The reason why they fight is still unknown to us.

As Tekken 7 is released this year we will get another chance to play as this fighter assassin and try to puzzle together her past. Nina, like many other female fighting characters doesn’t look like she’s always dressed for the fight. Her tight revealing clothes are more likely to be found in a strip club then in a fighting arena.

6. Dead or Alive (All the Female characters)

Dead or Alive is having another game released this year and so it is well worth mentioning the franchise on this list. This game series has several iconic female characters that could fit on this list, in fact the list could be full of Dead or Alive characters alone. That is why the entire female cast of this game gets put in spot number 6.

The developers for Dead or Alive have a big fixation with bust. All of the female characters are very well endowed and the game animations of the female chest are very well detailed. If you don’t agree then go ahead and pick up Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball and see if I’m wrong.

5. Cindy (Final Fantasy XV)

She is the first female character you encounter in FF XV

Cindy was a character we were introduced to in the Final Fantasy XV demo. She is a mechanic that travels around the world after a scarring incident that we know very little about.

SquareEnix released the demo as a sort of Beta to learn what the players liked and didn’t like. An overwhelming response in regards to Cindy was that she was too sexy and needed to be toned down. That sounds like a good reason to end up on this list. Her breast jiggled too much which, coupled with her energetic behavior and immodest dress, made her a very erotic character.

The game developers responded by toning this down since this was not the original intention for her. It will be interesting to see how she is depicted in the actual release of the game.

4. Sophitia (SoulCalibur)

This is the younger version of this stalwart fighter

As a young baker’s daughter in the Ottoman Empire, Sophitia thought herself nothing more than an average girl. That was only until the mighty god Hephaestus showed up, gave her a divine sword, and sent her on a quest to destroy the cursed SoulEdge.

She has been a part of the Soul series since the very beginning and has always played the role of an innocent protector. Her style of combat is very free flowing with lots of cyclonic hits from both her sword and shield. While she embodies both virtue and courage, she is also one of the most attractive characters in the series.

3. Mileena (Mortal Kombat X)

Mileena was created by Shang Tsung’s magic as a clone to Kitana in Outworld. She made her debut in the second Mortal Kombat game and has become one of the most iconic characters of the franchise.

As with many other females in the series, she dresses in tight revealing clothing when she fights. She also wears a purple face mask which should stay on at all times, because underneath that mask lies massive fangs and a demonic smile that you would never want to see.

2. Quiet (Metal Gear Solid)

What do you call an important game character that is mute? You guessed it! It is Quiet from Metal Gear Solid. She is definitely one of the stronger female characters on this list.

She is a sniper and very capable survivor. Her achievements include saving Big Boss and enduring torture from Ocelot. All in all, she is a really tough and gritty character.

1. Nova (Heroes of the Storm)

The Ghosts are highly intelligent and lethal assassins in the Starcraft universe. Nova is one of them. She is a hero that you can play in Blizzard’s new moba: Heroes of the Storm. She went through the Ghost Academy as one of the best students and was rewarded by having her entire past wiped from her brain. Now she serves the Terran Dominion as lethal scout assassin with her strong psionic powers.

Top 10 Hottest Final Fantasy Babes

We’re back with another top 10 hottest babes list! This time we are talking about the famous RPG franchise from Square Enix, Final Fantasy. Here we go, the top 10 hottest Final Fantasy babes.

10. Rikku

Rikku is a great example of Square Enix taking things a little too far. Rikku reminded us of a young teenage girl in the first game. She was silly, weird, and slightly immature. All of this added up to make her a really likeable character though, but most of all was the fact that she was believable. She was a member of the hated Al-Bhed and just wanted to prove to the world that her people weren’t evil.

2003 hit and Final Fantast X-2 came out. Suddenly our silly little girl had become a woman, and everything she wore turned into a bikini. Its nice to look at though so no one really cared.

This girl really grew up from the first game.

9. Garnet

Garnet, or Dagger as she comes to be called later, was the lovely princess from Final Fantasy IX. She was disgruntled with the castle life and wanted to run away. Little did she know a traveling theatrical group was coming to kidnap her. How convenient. Garnet allowed herself to get taken and ended up on the biggest adventure of her life.

Garnet is a really pretty character from the series, and I’m sure that her one piece orange jumpsuit would even be kind of hot if she didn’t resemble a little girl. Final Fantasy IX made its entire cast look like adult children as tribute to the cartoony nature of the original game’s sprites. This is unfortunate for girls like Garnet who could be much higher on this list.

8. Beatrix

One things that Final Fantasy is good at is creating strong female characters. In Final Fantasy IX the two greatest sword fighters are Steiner and Beatrix. Steiner is the slightly chubby and over-zealous knight that ends up joining your party. Beatrix is the more respected and feared leader of the Queen’s guard that watches over and protects the citizens of Alexandria. However, she is not only strong and intimidating, she is ridiculously good looking as well.

7. Fran

Fran comes complete with bunny ears and everything.

I fully believe that Fran and her entire race of bunny people (of which there are only girls by the way) was added into Final Fantasy XII as a gimmick to increase sales. That is totally fine though, and there is nothing wrong with it. Some people loved controlling the Playboy bunny as she battled the undead and the evil monsters of the forest.

Fran left her people to become a sky pirate with Balthier, and who can blame her? Balthier is one of the coolest characters in the franchise. She really does look like the Playboy bunny though.

6. Yuna

Yuna started as an innocent and naïve summoner that was bent on saving the world. She was everything that a traditional Final Fantasy heroine should be. Then Final Fantasy X-2 happened. The consumer base was already there. There were eager fans who would've bought the game without Square doing what they did. But they did it anyway.

Square Enix decided that in order to capitalize the most on FF X-2, they had to include a party of only three girls, allow you to play dress up, and sex everything up to the extreme. Yuna who had been so innocent and naïve became a super sexy gun-wielding marauder.

5. Rinoa

Rinoa was a part of one of the first actually confirmed love stories in a Final Fantasy game. Square Enix is great at hinting at romance, but actual relationships rarely happen. Rinoa and Squall end up together and are even shown kissing at the end of the game. Gasp! We hadn’t seen something like that until Final Fantasy X came around with its weird make out montage between Tidus and Yuna…. And the creepy Kimharu watching from a far.

Anyway, Rinoa joined forces with the SeeD soliders in order to stop the evil Ultimecia. It’s a good thing she did so because (spoiler alert) in the end she saves Squall from the void and brings him home.

4. Serah Farron

The helpless housewife Serah from the Final Fantasy series comes in at number 4 on this list. She is gorgeous with perfect proportions all around, and her ability to pull off pink hair is notable as well. However, she is rather dull, bland, weak, and boring. While she does spend a lot of time fighting monsters with you, in a mini skirt may I add, it certainly feels like she's more trouble than she's worth.

Serah Farron has a slight advantage on the other girls on this list since her cut scenes make her look absolutely amazing. Contrast this to some of the blocky polygon people of the previous installments. Serah obviously makes it on this list with graphics alone.

3. Aeris

Poor Aeris, or Aerith I suppose. I don’t understand why the spelling of her name changed in translation. Aerith is the orphaned flower girl that takes care of the broken down church in the Midgar Slums. Secretly she is a powerful ancient that can communicate with the planet though… So yeah that’s pretty cool.

Aerith is one of the few Final Fantasy females that is never sexually exploited on the screen. She never becomes a victim of “Japanese Dress Syndrome” but wears a modest dress throughout all of her appearances. Unfortunately only the good die young and she is penetrated (see what I did there) by Sephiroth’s massive (alright I need to stop) sword. She dies. It was tragic. Everyone cried and some people haven’t gotten over it. Moving on:

2. Lightning

Lightning is the protagonist and narrator throughout the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy. She is only the second female main character in the numbered series, the first being Terra from Final Fantasy VI. This pink haired beauty was forced to raise her sister alone after the death of her parents. She later became a soldier which resulted in her neglecting her duties as her sisters guardian. After realizing that her sister had been branded a Pulse Fal'Cie, she resigned from the Guardian Corps in hope to rescue her sister.

Lightnings whole character is very reminiscent of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII. There is even a Cloud outfit that you could get in Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns. As a result she acts more masculine than most traditional female Final Fantasy characters. She still has her feminine charm though. As the series went on her dress became gradually more revealing.

See what I mean? Lightning did not look like this in FF XIII.

1. Tifa Lockhart

Tifa is probably the toughest girl in all of Final Fantasy.

Tifa Lockhart is the childhood friend of Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Strife. She is not only super good looking, but has one of the strongest female roles in the entire franchise. She is the one who dove into the Lifestream to save Cloud from insanity, She is the one who escapes from the Shinra Execution gas chamber, and she is the only one who stays behind with Cloud before the final battle.

Tifa was originally created with proportions that seemed slightly unrealistic. You’ll know what I mean if you’ve played the game. In later appearances her body is depicted in a more realistic fashion though. Tifa is not only one of the most attractive characters in the franchise, but she is also the strongest female lead second only to Lightning.
