God of War: Ragnarok utilizes use of stun. Players can use their fists and attacks, as well as Atreus' arrows, to fill an enemy's stun meter. These powerful and effective pommels concentrate on Strength and Runic upgrades. Despite the harsh temperatures of Fimbulwinter, they were also forged in seething flame and radiated heat. This means they have the Sorching Burn perk, which allows them to have a stronger Burn status effect and deal more damage when burned.

The Pommels of the Undying Spark are found in a Legendary Chest in Svartalfheim and are a great way for Kratos to resurrect his name and power in Norse mythology, as fire will be unleashed on all those who are whipped and slashed by Kratos Blades of Chaos. They have an impressive amount of Strength and Runic damage at level 9.

3. Luminous Recovery Handles

Kratos might not be a gambler, and he may not know what one is, but the Luminous Recovery Handles belonged to a legendary gambler. This is why these handles prioritize Luck and make use of Whiplash Refresh. Because of this perk, Flame Whiplash, an ability used with Triangle then R1, has a good chance of granting Blessing of Cooldown, which allows Cooldown abilities to fully charge.

The Hardened War Handles were forged in such a hot fire that they're unmeltable. Their fire is extremely powerful, and as a result, they have the perk known as Banishing Blade. This enables the Hyperion Grapple and Hyperion Pull to deal additional damage and stun. Both of these abilities are performed by pressing L2 + R1 or L2 + R2.

These handles, which can be found in a Legendary Chest in Alfheim, grant a large amount of Strength and a moderate amount of Defence and Vitality at Level 9. Both Hyperion grapple moves bring the enemy to Kratos for more damage and Spartan fury, making the Hardened War Handles ideal for players who enjoy stun or want to keep their enemies close.

Blade Dancer is a perk associated with the Pommels of Agile Deceit, and it is ideal for those who play both defensively and offensively. The Pommels of Agile Deceit have a lot of versatility, and they can be crafted after returning to Freyr's Camp during The Reckoning questline.

These pommels have a moderate increase in Strength and Vitality, which grants health and damage in addition to the fantastic Blade Dancer perk. Players will use The Spinning Chaos and Evasive Ember's attack skills to deal more damage and burn damage to enemies they hit.

Today we’ll be looking at the best equipment from Yakuza Kiwami.

Well, gears and accessories can be considered equipment since having them can really make and break your gameplay experience. In most cases, it can enhance as well.

Better to have them equipped than go loose with nothing equipped. Trust me, with the number of encounters that you’re gonna have in-game, you’ll be thankful you found them in the first place.

Let’s get on with the list, then.

15. Bloody Binding

Way too uncomfortable to wear but worth it, I guess.

First one on the list, we have the Bloody Binding. A Binding is an armor of sorts in the Yakuza series.

The only way to get this equipment item is to get the key to the D2 Locker at Taihei Boulevard. The thing about this binding is that it decreases all defence, blade and gun resistance stats.

You must be wondering, why the hell should this be put on the list then? It raises the Heat steadily during battle, so it’s sure to come in handy.

What’s useful about Bloody Binding:

Slow raising of the Heat Bar makes for greater use of Heat Actions.
Ideal for use in early-game.
With more Heat-Actions, more enemies are defeated in a quicker time.

14. Fighter’s Binding

The Gold Color suits here very well, I must say.

Up next, we have the Fighter’s Binding. Unlike the previous equipment item mentioned above, this one actually boosts your stats.

You can get this in two ways. One is by getting the key to D3 Locker in Taihei Boulevard. And the other is by buying it from the secret Beam gears shop for ¥100,000.

Here’s a great thing about this defence equipment item, it not only boosts your defence, blade and gun resistance but special resistance to getting slashed as well!

What’s useful about Fighter’s Binding:

Slash Resistance provides a great edge in fighting.
Ideal for use in early-game.
Increased defence makes for tanking in-game.

13. Battle Mail

Pretty odd for a chainmail. Looks like a shirt.

Next, we have the Battle Mail. This can be found as an item lying around in the Gambling Hall.

The thing about Mail’s is that greatly increases the defence stats compared to the bindings (I mean, Duh. It covers the whole body as seen in the photo above.) And there’s one specific feature about this equipment item. It reduces Heat loss due to time. Yep, you definitely need that.

One more thing about this is that you won’t get access to the Gambling Hall until around Chapter 4. So it’s gonna be a while. Still considered early-game, though.

What’s useful about Battle Mail:

Ideal for use in early-game.
Increased defence makes for tanking in-game.
Reduced Heat-loss makes for performing more Heat Actions.

12. Steel Mail

Some Higher Fantasy elements in a modern game? Count me in.

And now, we have the Steel Mail. You can get this in the Beam secret gears shop.

Like all the other Mails in the categories, it has great resistance to slashing as well as increased defence stats. Slashing resistance would prove to be a great edge and I cannot emphasize this enough.

You can get this from the Beam gears shop for ¥400,000 and in early-game, this would be PERFECT for most challenges in-game.

Ideal for use in early-game.

11. Locker Key Watcher

This is probably the biggest helpful tool out there which would help you find most keys in the city.

Locker Key Watcher is next on the list and veteran Yakuza players would definitely recognize this equipment item from the get-go, especially if you’ve been playing Kiwami 2 and 0 as well.

Why did I include 0? Well, remember those Telephone Cards? You once got a Telephone Card locator which locates them and makes a sound when nearby? Yeah, this Locker Key Watcher does the same thing for Locker Keys.

It’s got no defence stat (Duh), it’s for locating Locker Keys which can get you some free armor and gears.

What’s useful about Locker Key Watcher:

Ease of locating Locker Keys.
Chance for making Kiryu OP at the start of the game.
Multiple rewards at Taihei Boulevard area.

You all know this by now. It’s the famous money-making Ebisu socks. For a few steps, you get 100 yen.

This makes it perfect for grinding. I mean, what else? I’m pretty sure most people would come up with ways to just put a controller in such a position that if you leave it all night, you’ll make tons of bucks.

You can get this as a CP Reward from Bob Utsunomiya for 10 CP.

What’s useful about Ebisu Socks:

Quick money-making for farming money.
Gets the ability to buy more items like medicines.
High-end equipment items become accessible.

9. Gambler’s Binding

So, no photo of the equipment item. A Map will do considering that you get the item from there.

Moving up, we have the Gambler’s Binding which has pretty high stats for defence.

The reason why I’ve placed this in mid-game category is that you need to substory # 39 completed which becomes available at around Chapter 7. It’s the traditional do an errand side-story where you get this as a reward.

Oh, one unique thing about this equipment item is that you get an additional XP. Pretty sweet for those abilities.

Perfect for defence mid-game

8. Fearless Binding

The Gambling Hall here in Kamurocho. Pretty secretive, too.

Fearless Binding’s next on the list which you can get after accessing the Gambling Hall area.

See, the unique thing about this binding is that it’s got slash resistance as well. Similar to the Mail’s category of gears, that makes it all in all a great choice of defence as well!

Perfect in mid-game

This shirt is amongst the strongest for having slash resistance with the second-highest defence stats. This makes for good use in mid-game as well!

Ideal for use in mid-game

And we’ve moved up to the late-game equipment which is DEFINITELY worth the grind. Starting with the Lucky Binding.

This comes off as a CP reward for when you want some additional XP stored in you but it comes in late game considering you need a lot of CP points to get this.

Despite that, I think it’s worth the grind!

It's reduced heat loss, when attacked, is one of the biggest factors as to why this equipment item is in the top 4 spots in the first place.

You can get this as a CP Reward by having the appropriate CP points and talking to Bob Utsunomiya for getting this as a reward.

What’s useful about Dragon’s Binding:

Reduced loss of Heat makes for more Heat Actions.
Increased defence stats.
Comes off as a CP Reward without having the need to spend more money.

On the third entry, we have the Dragon Shirt! For a shirt, this comes off as having VERY high defensive stats.

You get this equipment item as a CP reward from Bob Utsunomiya like most equipment items on the list, which is well worth the grind, to be honest.

It not only increases XP gain but it’s resistant to almost everything. Yeap. Perfect for being a tank.

Majima’s iconic gloves are now in the hands of the Dragon of Dojima.

On #2, we have the Mad Dog of Shimano’s iconic Mad Dog Gloves, available after getting Rank SS in Majima Everywhere.

It doesn’t have much defence but it does raise the Heat slowly so that you can perform those Heat Actions much more quickly during critical health. Yeah, it really stays true to the Mad Dog name.

To get this, you need to reach Rank SS in Majima Everywhere system which is very tedious to do during grinding but definitely worth the time.

What’s useful about Mad Dog gloves:

Increased Heat gain rate when in critical health.
Slight increase in defence
Majima’s signature gloves. What else?

Well, this is one heavy-looking armor set.

And on the top of the list, we have the fan-favourite Yakuza Training Gear!

This increases defence stats as well as the fact that it increases thrown weapon damage, knockbacks enemies AND increases the XP gained! Talk about being in a literal tank.

To get this, you’ll need to talk to Bob and get this as a CP Reward. That’s about it. I mean, if you think about it, most of the gears are CP rewards. Well, all the more the reason to do more side-quests.

What’s useful about Yakuza Training Gear:

Increased XP gain.
Knockback effects on enemies.
Increases defence stats.

[Top 6] The Forest Best Armors From Early Till Late Game (And How to Get Them)

The Forest is a fun, but challenging game. There are quite a few key items you need to survive on the island, and one of those items is armor! The game has a total of 6 different armor sets, each with their own advantages and uses in the game, but knowing when and where to use these sets is crucial. I’ll be helping you figure that part out!
Through this guide, you will get great info on each set! Their basic needs, best points and how to get them throughout the game in the first place. They are all ranked from early to late game. Now, without further ado, here’s all the armor sets in The Forest!

6: Lizard Skin Armor!

This armor is interesting, because it's literally just skin... It does give you protection, though!

The first type of armor you can get in The Forest is Lizard Armor. It’s probably one of the easiest ones to obtain, even as a full set! Like most of the armors in the game, this is obtained through killing animals, but the difference is... You don’t need to do anything else after that.
The armor itself isn’t actually that good... So why is it here? Well, it’s the first and only type you can get in the game without having to grind resources. Plus, it’s stackable! You don’t need an extra pack or anything for it; just keep a stack of it in your inventory for when it breaks!

When it comes to specific effects, the Lizard Skin Armor is great for these few reasons:

As mentioned, it’s the first available armor in the game! (When you're in a pinch and you NEED armor due to taking too much damage, this is the first and best thing you can get.)
Easy to obtain. (All you need to do is go and hunt down some lizards... That’s it. There’s not much else to it!)
Stackable! (As previously mentioned, this armor is stackable! But not just in your inventory; it’s stackable on your character as well. This means you can have multiple sets of lizard armor on your character at once, AND a stack of it in your inventory! You won’t run out of it anytime soon by doing that.)

The Stats for the Lizard Armor are as follows:

Armor = 20
Max Stack Count = 10

Lizard Armor is obtained from... Well. Lizards! You can catch them in traps, or you can hunt them yourself. In order to get the armor, you just have to kill and skin the animal (pressing E will “skin” it and give you its skin.) Then, all you need to do is equip it through your inventory. Simple! It’s not the best armor in the game, but it’s the easiest to get when in a pinch!

5: Stealth Armor (Great for Early Gameplay)

This is one of the first armors that you actually need to craft. It works pretty well and looks pretty neat, too!

Stealth Armor is one step above the Lizard Armor, and it’s actually what’s recommended for most, if not all players for early game. It’s still easy to craft like the Lizard Armor, but it gives more positive effects than the latter.
Being stackable like nearly all the armor types is an important thing, but it’s not just that effect that makes the Stealth Armor a favorite. As the name suggests, it also gives you an increase in your character’s stealth ability in the game! In fact, it’s the only way you can increase that stat to 100% in both normal and hard mode. Kind of crazy, right?!

The Stealth Armor excels at similar things as the Lizard Armor, but with some added benefits, including:

Increased Character Stealth (Wearing this armor makes it easier for you to hide in bushes and otherwise avoid being spotted by cannibals. Not only that, but it makes it easier for you to perform stealth kills on them, too!)
It’s waterproof! (This matters because another item in the game also provides stealth: Mud. But the mud can be washed off in water, or when it rains. The Stealth Armor cannot be washed off! But it can be broken over time.)
It still provides some physical protection from enemies. (Though this armor set is more geared toward the stealth aspect, it’s still armor. Damage is slightly reduced thanks to this!)

The stats for the Stealth Armor are as follows:

Armor = 20
Effects = Provides Stealth
Max Stack Count = 10

Stealth Armor is the “first” craftable armor you can obtain in the game, meaning you need more than one resource to make it. In order to craft this armor, you will need 1 Lizard Skin and 15 Leaves. Keep in mind this is for one single piece of armor. You would need to repeat that process to make all of it. Those numbers add up quick if you aren’t prepared, so make sure you know how much overall you would need for resources for a full set. Thankfully, this armor set is still easy to obtain, so it should not be too hard on you!

4: Rabbit Fur Boots

They are almost entirely useless... But hey, your feet are wearing some stylish shoes with these!

Rabbit Fur Boots, despite being quite neat looking and being easy to craft overall, only have one main use. They’re not part of a full armor set, either—they're stand-alone boots you can wear with other armor pieces. Still, they are fairly good for a mid-tier pair of boots if you don’t have any other current resources for other armor sets... Or at least, for some footwear.
These boots help with colder weather, which is their mean usage. If you can’t make the warmsuit, this is the next best thing for mild weather protection until you can build up the required resources. Otherwise, Rabbit Boots are almost entirely for decoration, but that’s not always a bad thing! If you are looking to make these, the use of animal traps is a must. It’s the easiest way to catch rabbits, along with other smaller animals.

The Rabbit Fur Boots have a few main usages and attributes that make them a decent piece of armor:

Cold weather protection. (They are great for some “early” cold protection when you can’t get that warmsuit.)
Easy to craft! (Thankfully making them isn’t hard or very time-consuming. As mentioned, using the animal traps is the easiest and fastest option for catching rabbits for their skin. It doesn’t take long to make these fashionable boots.)
Very slight stealth increase. (Though this isn’t their main function, the fact that they give your character a small amount of stealth can be helpful! They’re good to pair with the stealth or lizard armor if you can’t get the full sets of either, yet.)

The Stats for the Rabbit Fur Boots are as follows:

Armor = None
Effects = 20 Cold Armor
Max Stack Count = 1

As expected, getting yourself a pair of these boots means you will need rabbit fur. Three pieces to be exact, and two pieces of rope. That’s all; once you’ve got those materials, just make the boots in your crafting menu! Thankfully, rabbits can be found everywhere, so finding some rabbit fur won’t be hard at all. They’re not the most useful piece of armor in the game, but they’re better than nothing when you’re in a pinch!

3: Bone Armor

Aside from sounding like a bunch of pots and pans banging around, this armor is cool!

This armor set is pretty darn good! With a full set of this armor, your character is quite protected with a fairly high armor count. It is a little bit harder to craft due to it requiring lots of bones, but it’s worth it if you want a bit more protection. It is at the cost of stealth, however.
There are some drawbacks to this armor, including having a little less stealth. Considering your character is covered in bones, that makes sense. Not to mention, cannibals may be a bit more hostile toward you when you wear this armor, so you need to be more careful when exploring or grabbing resources. As always, it’s a clever idea to keep a stack of this armor in your inventory as well as at your home base. It’s inevitable that your armor will break eventually, so having extras on standby means you won’t be without protection for long!

The Bone Armor excels at a few things, including:

Higher character protection! (With each separate piece of bone armor being 40 percent, wearing a full set of armor means you will have up to 400 armor protection! That is a fair bit of armor for your character.)
Relatively easy to make. (Despite the amount of bones you will need for each piece of armor, it’s still easy to acquire the resources. You’ll need to kill the cannibals for the bones, but by this point in the game... They’re probably hostile toward you anyway. So, there’s no point in worrying about that.)
Stackable! (Like many of the armor sets, being stackable is a huge plus. You can have a constant, ongoing stockpile of this armor either on your person or at your base. Whenever a piece you’re wearing breaks, you won’t have to worry about hastily making a new one; you can just grab one of the already made armor pieces you have laying around!)

The stats for this armor are as follows:

Armor = 40 (Full set = 400)
Max Stack Count = 10

Being able to use the bones of your enemies to create this armor means you’ll never have a short supply of the materials, or the armor itself. By this point in the game, the cannibals are hostile toward you regardless of how you act, so you will have a constant supply of bodies to restock with. Otherwise, you will just need some cloth! All together for one piece of bone armor, you will need 6 bones and 3 pieces of cloth.

2: Creepy Armor

The Creepy Armor is, well... Creepy. But it's incredible to wear, and saves you a lot of deaths!

This is easily the best armor in The Forest. It has the most armor protection for your player and lasts the longest compared to other armor before you need to replace it. This is at the cost of the materials, however. It’s less that it needs a lot of materials, and more because of where you need to get them...
Creepy armor is very... Well, creepy looking. Which makes sense since you get it from the mutant cannibals! That makes getting this armor pretty dangerous to yourself, so make sure you are well prepared if you intend to get a full set of this armor. Of course, keeping a small stockpile of this armor at your base is always a good idea, in case you need to replace it.

The Creepy Armor excels at quite a few things, including:

It has the highest armor percentage in the game! (With each separate piece of armor being 80%, just having one piece will significantly enhance the protection on your character. Having a full set means that you are nearly invincible, considering a full set equals to 800 armor!)
It’s stackable! (Thankfully, Creepy Armor does not have the same stacking limitations as some of the other armor sets. You can have a full stack of 10 in your inventory, as well as more at your base. You will barely ever need to dip into these extra stocks, but it’s always good to have them!)
No need to craft it. (This is the only armor in the game besides Lizard Armor that doesn’t have a crafting recipe. You only need to kill and skin the mutants to get it. This is a plus due to you not needing to farm as much to get the full set.)

The stats for the Creepy Armor are as follows:

Armor = 80 (A full set is 800)
Max Stack Count = 10

As already mentioned, obtaining this armor means you need to hunt and kill mutants. This is extremely dangerous due to how much damage these cannibals do, so being cautious and amply prepared is a good idea. Using arrows, preferably the fire and poison ones, is the best option. Using explosives will blow them up into many pieces, and you will not be able to harvest them.

1: The Warmsuit

The Warmsuit looks amazing, but it's very annoying to get your hands on!

This armor is the costliest in the game, but it’s also the best for weather resistance. It has more drawbacks than excelling points, but if you intend to live anywhere in the cold biome on the island, it is the best option to make sure you don’t freeze!
If you intend to wear this armor, be careful about equipping it while already wearing other armor. It completely fills up your armor bar and causes you to drop any previous armor you had on. Basically... You can ONLY wear the warmsuit if you intend to equip it. The problem with this is that you sometimes may glitch the other armor pieces and cause them to disappear. Always be careful if you intend to wear this armor! When it comes to crafting it... The Warmsuit requires a lot of resources, so make sure you have everything stacked up beforehand. You will be running all around the island to collect what you need to make each piece.

The Warmsuit excels at a few things, including:

Max cold weather resistance. (Wearing the full suit gives you 100 cold armor, which is great for the cold snow biome. Wearing it anywhere else will overheat your character, so be careful!)
Protects you from cold water. (This is one of the large benefits to this armor other than the overall cold resistance. Swimming around in cold water with this suit on means you won’t take damage from freezing! Again, this is more helpful for when you are in the snow biome... But it’s still something to keep in mind.)
Full armor bar! (This is mostly for aesthetic purposes... As the armor itself doesn’t actually give your character any physical armor protection. Even a full set won’t give you any armor. It’s just for cold protection... But if you like the thought of having a full armor bar, then this is an effective way to achieve that!)

The stats for the Warmsuit are as follows:

Armor = 0
Effects = 100 Cold Armor
Max Stack Count = 1

This armor requires a whole lot of resources, so stocking up and making sure you have all you need before getting into crafting it is the best idea. It is one single piece of armor, but it requires: 1 piece of racoon skin, 4 pieces of boar skin, 6 deer skin, 1 piece of rabbit fur, 2 pieces of cloth and two pieces of rope. That’s a lot of resources compared to the other armor sets! Getting all those skins ahead of time is the best way to go about this, as acquiring the cloth and rope isn’t nearly as time consuming! This armor is not the best in the game, but it’s perfect for the cold weather in the snow biome... And it looks really nice. In the end, it’s up to you!

The enemies are plenty and the damage they do is even more. Some people don’t even know what to do during their first night in this violent world.

So, how do you survive this monster-infested map that you’re on? The answer, my friend, is ARMOR. Get ready to suit up as we talk about the Top 10 Terraria Best Armors and how to get them.

10. Meteor Armor

One step for man, a giant leap for mankind...

Your first look at Terraria sees you making things out of wood and stone. Though it may seem primitive, there are a few advancements along the way; some more high-tech than the others.

After you beat your Corruption or Crimson boss, a Meteorite will crash in your world. Gather the ores and craft yourself a futuristic purple armor that’s sure to defend you throughout late pre-hardmode.

What makes Meteor Armor awesome:

Makes the mana cost of the Space Gun, Gray Zapinator, and Orange Zapinator into zero.
27% increased magic damage (9% per piece)

9. Molten Armor

8. Necro Armor

The Necro armor is a go-to set for rangers at the later part of pre-hardmode. It becomes available after you, the player, beat Skeletron and gain access to the Dungeon biome. It requires a hefty amount of bones and cobwebs to craft but is made worth it by the armor’s utility up to early hardmode.

What makes Necro awesome:

Easily obtainable after beating Skeletron
Boosts ranged damage by 15% (5% per piece)
Cool bone clunking sounds when you get hit, instead of the usual damage sounds
Afterimage effect when all set pieces are worn
Can be obtained pre-Skeletron in a Drunk world seed

7. Beetle Armor

Be careful of bug zappers.

After battling through the grueling early part of hardmode and defeating Plantera and Golem, you’ll be able to finally skip progression armors and get back into class armor for the rest of the game.

As they always say, the best defense is a good offense, or however that saying goes. This next armor has the highest damage reduction stat of all armors in the game. The Beetle armor has 2 different chest pieces to choose from, attack and defense.

What makes Beetle Armor awesome:

Split choices between attack and defense with different chest pieces
Damage reduction buff using the defense set offers a flat 45% reduction at max stacks
The Beetle Armor, Worm Scarf, Endurance Potion, and Frozen Turtle Shell together make for a 74% damage reduction at one time.
Having all accessories forged to Warding with a Frozen or Hero’s Shield boosts your defense over 100.

The Spectre Armor is a post-Plantera armor that uses orbs to either damage or heals. Equip the Mask and you shoot orbs at enemies. Don the Hood and get lifesteal on your spells.

Again, armor options allow you to be versatile with both damage and healing
Easily obtainable by making farms for Ectoplasm
Looks really edgy

The Shroomite Armor provides set bonuses for all projectile types by offering 3 different helmets. This allows for rangers with preferred weapons to get the best damage they can at this point in the game. Just like the other armors, you can get this right after Plantera.

3 different helmet types: Headgear for arrows, Mask for bullets, and Helmet for rockets
Stealth mode: +60% damage, +10% critical chance, and +50% knockback at full stealth (1.5 seconds after doing nothing activates stealth)

Stardust Armor is composed of the fragments dropped by the Stardust Pillar during the Lunar event post-Lunatic Cultist. All of the Lunar event armors require Luminite, so Moon Lord is bound to die yet again.

Solar Flare Armor is composed of the fragments dropped by the Solar Pillar during the Lunar event post-Lunatic Cultist. This armor boasts the highest late-game defense stat and is the only armor set that gives the player a “dash” ability.

Enables the player to dash without the Tabi or the Shield of Cthulhu

Best Ways to Get Exotics in Destiny 2

Collect your favorite Exotic weapons and armor in Destiny 2 and enjoy the best stats 7 perks in the game!

Exotics are among the most powerful items to equip in Destiny 2. They also have the most detailed and impressive appearances, as well as unique perks and abilities that benefit your Guardian.

Exotics are so useful, in fact, that players are limited to equipping only 1 Exotic weapon and 1 Exotic piece of armor at a time. Of course, with the ability to store your weapons and armor, as well as upgrade them to suit your play style over time, one of Destiny 2’s biggest gameplay loops is to collect all the Exotics you can. Here’s how:

How to Get Exotics in Destiny 2:

Talk to Xur at his weekly location. He always sells random Exotic items as well as special Legendary items. Be sure to have plenty of in-game currency and resources when you see him.
Get Bright Engrams by making progress in the Season Pass. They sometimes drop Cosmetic Exotic items.
Play through Campaign Questlines. By the end, you will either receive an Exotic weapon or armor piece, or a quest that will reward you with one once you complete it.
Finish Exotic Quests, like the Gjallarhorn quest, “And Out Fly the Wolves”. This involves going to several locations and collecting the components of the Exotic item, then putting them back together again.
Purchase Exotic weapons from the Archive using Exotic Cyphers, a special currency you earn through the Season Pass or from completing Xur’s weekly quest.
Use the Gleaming Boon of the Vanguard/Crucible Consumable and complete Strikes or Crucible matches. You’ll receive a gift from the Eververse which may drop an Exotic cosmetic item. They are purchased from the Eververse store.
Obtain Luminous Engrams through Weekly Milestone activities like:
- Winning Crucible matches
- Finishing public events on the Weekly Flashpoint planet
- Completing the Leviathan raid or Eater of Worlds raid lair.
- Finishing Weekly Nightfall Strikes
- Doing 3 Heroic Strikes
- Earning XP for your Clan
Complete Raids — the toughest way to get Exotics, but also the most surefire way to earn them.

[Top 5] New World Best Armor Sets And How To Get Them

New World developers should create an in-game dump for all of the junk armor you can find. Most dropped legendaries do not have an ideal combination of perks, and at times don’t have a sensible combination of stats. However, there are indeed sets and pieces worth farming, and we’ll rank them by their usefulness on this list.

Similar to my weapons list, individually crafted armor pieces for high-rolls won’t be included here. Players can craft or pay crafters repeatedly until they get the perfect combination of armor perks they want on every piece they please. This list is geared towards those who’d rather not spend a bunch of time and gold doing so. Though I think it’s worth mentioning that most dropped armor sets/pieces aren’t optimized and min-maxers will want to go the crafting route.

This also assumes 600 Gear Score versions of all items.

5. Archmage and Avenging sets

We start with two armor sets that serve a similar purpose: the Archmage and Avenging sets. They take the number five spot with their balanced distribution of caster and melee stats respectively, in addition to every piece having the ever-useful Refreshing perk. They also possess a strong combination of anti-Corrupted perks, which makes clear that they are intended for Corruption events like Invasions and portal runs. However, this makes the sets somewhat niche for said player versus environment (PvE) events, and aren’t valuable outside of them.

What makes the Archmage and Avenging armor sets great:

Maximal stats for casters and melee across the board
Refreshing on each piece, one of the most useful perks in the game
Corrupted Ward and Corrupted Resistance for massive Corrupted damage mitigation
Empty Gem sockets gives players freedom to choose extra perks

How to get the Archmage and Avenging armor sets: the pieces for these sets drop from various mobs and bosses in the Great Cleave area. More specifically, players will have to farm enemies at Mangled Pox, Stranglepitch Road, Svikin’s Stand, Nihilo Visage, and Balebane Maw for the full set.

Dishonorable Mention: the Fearless Spy set unfortunately does not make the cut, because despite having the same perks as the other two, its stat distribution is a bit nonsensical. The set attempts to distribute Focus, Intelligence, Constitution, and Dexterity across its pieces, but ends up suffering from the “master of none” effect. This should have been a straight Dexterity and Constitution set instead of wasting item real estate on a bunch of unspecialized stats.

However, individually the pieces are decent and some players may choose to mix and match for different armor weight classes.

4. Faction Sets

Next up are the faction sets. I know I know, they’re not 600 Gear Score items, but the endgame faction armor has some of the best combinations of player versus player (PvP) perks and stats players can find. They’re so good in fact, that many players will opt to use them over 600 Gear Score items. They are also easily attainable, especially if players save up faction tokens during that endgame leveling push.

These sets would be near the top of the list if it weren’t for their 520 Gear Score. Nevertheless, they’re great starting pieces for fresh level 60s who want to jump into PvP as soon as they can.

What makes the Faction armor sets great:

Specialized stats for all roles
Resilient and Refreshing perks on each piece make them perfect for PvP combat
Empty Gem sockets gives players freedom to choose extra perks
Can buy different faction seals to put preferred stats on any piece, effectively allowing players to use any weight class to match their playstyle

How to get the Faction armor: First, players must fully rank up their reputation with their chosen faction. Then, they will have to purchase each piece with a combination of gold and faction tokens, the latter of which is obtained by completing faction quests or open world PvP.

The only difference between Faction sets is purely aesthetic.

3. Voidbent Sets

Ah yes, we’ve all seen these rhinos running around town. The Voidbent armor sets are some of the most popular legendary sets players covet, and are fairly easy to obtain from crafting. I’ve included these crafted sets on the list because their stats and perks are consistent across the board; players do not pay crafters to randomly roll perks over and over until they get the combination they want.

Rather, Voidbent armors specialize in pure Constitution, Dexterity, or Strength on their heavy, medium, and light sets respectively. They come with an odd combination of perks which makes them fairly effective in both PvE and PvP, but are clearly more geared for PvE dungeon grinding.

What makes the Voidbent sets so great:
Maximal stats for most roles, though casters will lack Focus and Intelligence stats
Resilient on every piece is useful for tanking PvP burst damage
Invigorated on each piece reduces the duration of commonly-encountered debuffs in PvE and situationally in PvP
Luck on each piece means players have a higher chance to find coveted items during PvE events
Empty Gem sockets gives players freedom to choose extra perks

2. Harbinger Sets

At number two we have the Harbinger armor, of which there are three sets: Constitution, Dexterity, and Intelligence stats spread across heavy, medium, and light weight classes respectively. Their attribute distribution is similar to Voidbent, but these rank slightly above because of their more useful perks and dedicated caster set.

All items in this set have the Angry Earth Ward perk, which makes them ideal for running Garden of Genesis and it’s soon-to-be mutated variants. Regardless, they all possess the Refreshing perk as well, which gives them greater value in both PvP and PvE contexts.

What makes the Harbinger sets so great:

Maximal stats for melee, rangers, and casters alike
Refreshing on each piece, one of the most useful perks in the game
Invigorated and Angry Earth Ward makes this ideal for mitigating damage in Garden of Genesis
Empty Gem sockets gives players freedom to choose extra perks

How to get the Harbinger sets: the pieces drop from bosses or mobs in the elite zones of Shattered Mountain or Reekwater. The drops in each location are as follows:

Ambusti Inferior: glove and chestpiece
Eternal Pool: leggings
Spire of Melpomene: boots and helmet

Harbinger set details:

1. Augur and Corrupted Rage Sets

Finally, in first place we have two sets: Augur for spellcasters, and Corrupted Rage for the melee-minded. Both possess well-balanced stats for their respective roles without simply specializing in any one attribute like Strength or Dexterity.

They also pair two of the most universally favorable perks in New World on each piece of the set: Refreshing and Freedom. The one outlier is the Ancient Ward perk, which is a very specific damage mitigation most useful in the Lazarus Instrumentality expedition.

Additionally, there is a medium armor set with an identical combination of perks that suffers the same problem as the previously-mentioned Fearless Spy; the stats simply don’t mesh across the entire set and is essentially useless for Dexterity characters. Nonetheless, the Augur and Corrupted Rage sets stand strong on their own.

What makes the Augur and Corrupted Rage sets so great:

Perfect balance of Constitution + Strength for melee and Constitution + Intelligence + Focus for casters
Refreshing on each piece, one of the most useful perks in the game
Freedom on each piece reduces the duration of frequently-encountered crowd control effects in PvE and PvP
Ancient Ward for Lazarus Instrumentality damage mitigation
Empty Gem sockets gives players freedom to choose extra perks

How to get the Augur and Corrupted Rage sets: like the last sets, most pieces drop from bosses or mobs in the elite zones of Shattered Mountain or Reekwater, though some also drop in Edengrove. The drop locations for each set are as follows:

[Top 10] Best Minecraft Armor Enchantments

When you first drop into the world of Minecraft, you’re naked. Unequipped. Vulnerable. But luckily, as you progress you can get your hands on all manner of armor tools for defense. Leather, iron, chain, diamond, however you choose to style, by far, the best advancement for your wardrobe is enchantments. Here are ten of the most versatile enchantments and guides on how and when they are most useful.

10. Unbreaking - Any

Unbreaking is a staple enchantment for any tool or piece of armor, toughening up the materials and making them last longer before breaking. Endlessly replacing your items is one of the hassles of Minecraft - it keeps the game interesting via the constant need to stock up on resources, but it can also get rather frustrating in late game when you’re replacing your boots for the four hundredth time. Unbreaking won’t make your tools last forever, but it can buy you some time in between those chores, stretching their lifespan by a notable degree that increases with all three levels of potency this enchantment can be applied at.

9. Projectile Protection - Chestplate

For a few of these enchantments, they are applicable to any piece of armor, but I have my own recommendations of where specifically they might be most useful. In this case, you can place Projectile Protection, an enchantment that lessens the damage taken from arrows, anywhere you like, but considering your torso is the largest part of your character model and more likely to be hit, it’s objectively the best place for it! This enchantment has four possible levels of potency.

8. Thorns - Chestplate

This is another enchantment that could be placed anywhere but is most effective on the chestplate. Thorns allows for damage you take to be echoed back on the dealer, again, very handy when dealing with long-range wielding enemies. Anything they hit you with, they’ll feel the pain from, too - ultimate revenge, as well as being a practical way to get a few extra points of damage in, even from a distance. This enchantment offers three levels of potency.

7. Respiration - Helmet

Getting your hands on a turtle shell to use as a helmet can take a long time, but if you want improved water breathing sooner, luckily, the Respiration enchantment exists at three levels of potency. When applied to a helmet, this enchantment increases the length of time you can spend underwater without drowning and taking damage.

6. Depth Strider - Boots

This is yet another enchantment designed to optimize your performance underwater, but this one is applied to your boots instead of your helmet. Depth Strider, available at three levels of potency, increases your speed while moving or mining underwater. Pair this with a Riptide-enchanted trident, and you’ll be an unstoppable god of the sea.

5. Blast Protection - Any

The iconic and meddlesome creeper is one of the most dangerous and frustrating enemies in Minecraft, and they’re not even the only creature capable of inflicting some real explosive damage to you and your lovingly crafted structures. Blast Protection, which is available at four levels of potency, is a handy secret weapon in these infuriating scenarios: it reduces blast damage!

4. Fire Protection - Any

Fire is a constant and pervasive peril within the world of Minecraft, but, just like explosives, this danger also has a secret weakness that you can apply to any piece of armor in your inventory: the Fire Protection enchantment. It protects you… from fire. Simple, but useful! This enchantment is available at four levels of potency.

3. Feather Falling - Boots

Feather Falling is an uncommon but incredibly versatile enchantment for your boots, decreasing fall damage and allowing you to leap from great heights without getting hurt. This effect is stronger with all four levels of potency, keeping you safe when you’re scaling mountains and cliffs.

2. Frost Walker - Boots

This enchantment is one of (if not the) coolest enchantment(s) in all of Minecraft. The Frost Walker enchantment, exclusively applicable to your boots, not only negates damage taken from standing on magma blocks, but automatically changes water blocks below your feet to ice, allowing you to bend nature to your will and walk on water like the freaking Messiah. At two levels of potency, you can live your dreams of being a master of the elements with just a few strokes of luck and clicks of your mouse.

1. Mending - Any

Finally, as the most versatile enchantment overall, protecting all of your other enchantments from being lost when breaking the tool they’re placed on, Mending repairs the piece it’s applied to with every experience point you gain. This is another way to stretch the lifespan of your tools, especially when paired with Unbreaking. Mending only comes in one level of potency.

Get the Best Armor in Don't Starve Together

Has a Bearger destroyed your base and eaten all of your food in the process? Are you being mobbed by frogs or spiders? Do you need revenge against monkeys who keep stealing your stuff?

Basically, if you’re having any kind of trouble with mobs or bosses (or even Darkness trying to screw you over), the thing you’re going to need is armor. And not just any armor. For a fine warrior like yourself, you’re going to need the best of the best.

However, getting the best armor will take time to grind. But if you’re patient and motivated, victory will be yours.

The assessment of best armor will be based on non-modded durability, damage absorption, and accessibility to resources (in the case that you need to replace your armor). This guide is also based on the Caves being playable during gameplay.

Best Head Armor

3. Beekeeper Hat

It looks like a goal net and a sun hat made a baby. But it's great for protection anyway.

If you’re ever thinking about taking on the Bee Queen, then this hat will do wonders. With its high hp and decent damage absorption, you’ll be a danger to anything with a stinger.

Armors Stats:

1050 hp durability
80% damage absorption
20% water resistance

Why the Beekeeper Hat Rocks:

You’ll officially be a beekeeper when you’re collecting honey.
You can craft it at anytime and anywhere after you first craft it by the Alchemy Engine. It also helps that silk and grass are easily renewable and easy to locate.
It is great protection when fighting the Bee Queen or having to deal with angry bees during Spring (note: the hat only works against bees which is a shame, look at that hp!).

How to Get the Beekeeper Hat:

Craft this with the Alchemy Engine; you’ll find it under the Clothing tab.
You could also get lucky and find the hat spawned next to a skeleton.

2. Shelmet

Winona looking like DST's version of a Viking.

If you like the idea of wearing a shell as part of your head gear, then the Shelmet is the right gear for you. As seen in the picture above, the top of the shell has a curved fin that ends in a hooked point. Unfortunately, the Shelmet comes in only one color but its use as head armor makes up for its color scheme.

Armor Stats:

525 hp durability
90% damage absorption
20% water resistance

Why the Shelmet Rocks:

90% damage absorption, enough said.
You don’t have to go resource hunting to craft it.
Doesn’t it make you look like a Viking or a pirate? That’s a plus in my book.
Equip this with an upgraded WX and nothing will be safe from your tyranny.

How to Get the Shelmet:

You will need to kill slurtles for this item to drop. Slurtles are found by Slurtle Mounds in the Caves. Good luck though. A Shelmet has a 10% drop after killing a Slurtle.

The Shelmet is worth it but it does take patience to get it.

1. Bee Queen Crown

Maxwell does act like he's a King, huh?

Look like royalty with the Bee Queen Crown. Its spiral horns just scream that you mean business. And, as an added bonus, you have a crown that works as head armor. How cool is that?

Armor Stats:

945 hp durability
70% damage absorption
20% water resistance

Why the Bee Queen Crown Rocks:

Be the King or Queen you were always meant to be. When you wear this around your friends, they can’t help but bow to you. Seriously, they can’t. No one can resist the Crown’s allure (only works with playable characters).
It is one of the two strongest head armors in DST if you exclude the Beekeeper Hat (I’m still weeping over the Beekeeper Hat hp).
It grants Sanity gain from insanity auras. Examples of things with insanity auras: Tree Guards and Evil flowers. This is helpful when you’re away from base during Winter. Just stand by Evil flowers and boom, Sanity gain.

How to Get the Bee Queen Crown:

There are two ways to get the Bee Queen Crown. One way is to kill the Bee Queen. This method guarantees a crown drop.
The second way to get the crown is to defeat Klaus. You get a 1 out of 5 chance for the crown to drop from the 4th bundle.

Best Chest Armor

3. Night Armor

WX rescued me from having to look too hard for an image that would do this armor justice. Thank you Mr. Robot.

The Night Armor protects your body with its ghostly shadow. Notice how it drapes over WX’s body, like a cocoon of darkness.

The Night Armor also comes with a Dark Sword so imagine the fear that you’ll put into your enemies’ hearts when you come prepared to battle. The one thing that would make it better is a shadow helmet to complete the set.

Armor Stats:

525 hp durability
95% damage absorption
Drops Sanity by 10 units per minute

Why the Night Armor Rocks:

Do I need to explain 95% damage absorption?
You can roleplay as a Dark Knight, equipped with both the armor and the Dark Sword.
Craft it with a Shadow Manipulator. After that, you can craft another one anywhere and anytime. The items needed to make the Night Armor are frequently renewable so that is a plus.
It’s great for tanking when worn by Wolfgang with his ability in full effect.

How to Get the Night Armor:

Craft a Shadow Manipulator. You’ll find it under the Magic tab.

2. Marble Suit

This armor is too popular for it to not show up on the list.

The Marble Suit is standard high tier armor. It can take a while to craft but it means trouble to your enemies when you put this gear on.

The Marble Suit comes with two skins: the Marble Splint and the Marble Plate. If you don’t want to purchase these skins through the Shop menu, earn in-game currency by unweaving skins you don’t care to own. But even without the skins, you’ll look like a warrior with solid resolve.

Armor Stats:

735 hp durability
95% damage absorption
Decreases movement speed by 30%

Why the Marble Suit Rocks:

You can create a marble farm so harvesting items to make the marble suit isn’t a problem. You’ll have to wait for a long while though.
You can make it anytime and anywhere after you first craft it with the Alchemy Engine.
It’s great for tanking when worn by Wolfgang and WX.

How to Get the Marble Suit:

You can craft it with the Alchemy Engine. It’s under the Weapons tab.

1. Bone Armor

I don't know whether Wes looks nonchalant or confused.

At first look, it seems like you slaughtered some poor creature and ripped out its ribcage. But that’s alright because it suits you more as protection. The battle to get this armor can be long and hard but its benefits make it worthy of being the #1 best armor in DST.

Armor Stats:

Has 16 uses
100% damage absorption every 5 seconds

Why the Bone Armor Rocks:

It’s a permanent item, you’ll never have to replace it (unless you lose it).
You can recharge durability with Nightmare Fuel. 1 fuel equals 4 uses.
The armor is great with kiting.
If Wes wears it, he’ll be more playable as a character (sorry Wes, but your stats are terrible).

How to Get the Bone Armor:

You’ll need to defeat the Ancient Fuelweaver for this item to drop.
