71% of the Earth’s surface is underwater. It is in fact said that people know more about the surface of the moon than they do about the bottom of the ocean.

Considering the amount of space under the planet’s oceans, it is only logical to consider creating underwater settlements that can start utilizing Earth’s valuable underwater resources!

‘Aquatico’ is an underwater survival city-building game that explores the idea of underwater colonies in a world turned into a barren wasteland, forcing humanity to turn to the dark blue depths for solutions to their problems.

You need to establish and build up your underwater settlement for humanity’s survival! Your first job is to find the spot you wish to settle in, and then start collecting the resources that you will need to build and manufacture everything that you will need to build and maintain a functioning underwater settlement!

Using resources that you have collected, you need to build homes and other required structures for your citizens. Over time you can expand and upgrade your underwater settlement to allow for more people and allow more advanced manufacturing processes that will get you better tools, equipment, and higher resource yields.

As with any city, you need to make sure that your citizens have everything that they need to be both comfortable and happy. This will improve production, and overall community health, and will ensure that your city runs as smoothly as possible!

‘Aquatico’ features advanced production chain mechanics, that allow for a complex resource collection and processing system. Your goal is to turn your small underwater base into a thriving underwater metropolis. The game is developed by ‘Digital Reef Games,’ and is coming to Steam during the third quarter of 2022.
