Animal Crossing Pocket Camp: Best Way To Get Leaf Tickets

As Pocket Camp has been updated, it has come to offer more and more ways to gain leaf tickets and other prizes. Leaf tickets are the coveted currency of the game because they can be used to craft special items and to buy fun fortune cookies!

1. Events/Goals (Timed and Stretch)

Method Overview:
Each season comes with several series of themed events. Each event has four parts: a fishing tourney, a bug catching goal, a gardening challenge, and a scavenger hunt. By participating in each part of the event you not only gain prizes and leaf tickets for each part but they also gain prizes and leaf tickets for the themed event.

The game also has Stretch Goals. Those goals are separate from events and are not timed. If you finish those goals, you’re likely to receive one to ten leaf tickets.

How many tickets Can You Get From This Method?

Each part of an event lasts about three to five days and they have special goals attached to them. You’re likely able to get at least three leaf tickets after finishing certain goals.
Some parts even have leaf ticket maps as prizes which you can play in Blather’s Treasure Trek. You will receive ten or thirty leaf tickets by finishing those maps.
As you participate in the parts of the events, you’ll finish goals for the themed event and you can also receive leaf tickets and leaf ticket maps there.

How To Get Tickets From This Method:

For the fishing tourney, you can catch special event fish from either Lost Lure Creek or Saltwater Shores, depending on which island the event is centered on. Every two hours event fish appear and once you catch all of them you can give them to Chip who will give you prizes such as leaf tickets for the amount you’ve caught and after you finish his special challenges.
For the bug catching goal, you can find special event bugs on Sunburst Island. You must catch a certain amount in order to finish the timed event and once you do you can receive prizes such as leaf tickets.
For the gardening challenge, you must plant special seeds given to you by whoever is running the event. You’ll be instructed to catch special event butterflies. Throughout the event, you’ll receive three types of seeds that will give you four different butterflies. After catching the total amount of butterflies, you’ll receive different prizes including leaf tickets.
For the scavenger hunt, you can find special items such as gyroidites throughout the different islands. After you collect a certain amount of them you’ll receive different prizes including leaf tickets.

2. Leveling Up

Method Overview:
A wonderfully simple way to get leaf tickets is by leveling up your character. That’s right! Just by playing the game and making friends with the villagers you get rewarded!

How Many Tickets Can You Get From This Method?

Every time your character has gone up another level, you’ll receive ten leaf tickets and one thousand bells.

How To Get Tickets From This Method:

By doing favors for villagers who visit you you’ll increase your friendship level. Every time your friendship level has increased with a villager, you’ll get closer to going up another level.
You can also increase friendship levels by upgrading tents. Upgrading different tents will increase up to five villagers’ friendship levels.

3. Logging In

Method Overview:
This is probably the easiest method to getting leaf tickets. Why? Because you just have to open the app once a day!

How Many Tickets Can You Get From This Method?

The ordinary amount of tickets that you can receive from this method is about three to six leaf tickets a week from logging in and receiving your daily bonus.
This past week, the game had a special login bonus because of the 2nd Anniversary. Players received ten leaf tickets a day for about two weeks.

How To Get Tickets From This Method:

Log in to the app to receive a daily bonus.
Make sure to pay attention to special events because they will sometimes change the daily bonus gifts.

4. Last Resort: Buy Them

Method Overview:
If you really want to get leaf tickets fast buying them is the quickest method. The game offers a series of packs that you can purchase that come with leaf tickets and other valuable items!

How Many Tickets Can You Get From This Method?

Currently, there is an offer to buy thirty leaf tickets for a dollar. The pack comes with 2nd Anniversary candles which will help you finish the timed Anniversary goal event, which will also bring you more leaf tickets.
If you’re interested in just buying leaf tickets, you can buy twenty for just a dollar or up to two thousand and five hundred of them for eighty dollars. The game does give you bonus leaf tickets for the more you buy!

How To Get Tickets From This Method:

By putting your credit card information into your iTunes account, you can purchase leaf tickets through the game.

One of the absolute best features of every Animal Crossing game is the gigantic group of villagers that you get to create friendships with. The game does a glorious job of creating a wide variety of fun animals with many types of personalities and hobbies!

Here’s a list of my Top 10:

10. Merengue

Villager Introduction:

Merengue (pictured in the center) has got to be one of the sweetest villagers you could meet. Literally, the rhino is made out of desserts!
This hip villager will fill your campsite with tasty-looking, craftable furniture.
Her special catchphrase is “shortcake”.

What Makes Merengue Awesome:

Everyone loves a baker!
She’s a pink rhino!
What it’s like to talk to her: “My favorite part of Valentine’s Day is watching folks give each other gifts and make each other smile”. Even though the game classifies her as a normal villager, Merengue is such a kind kid!

How To Invite Merengue To Your Campsite and Perks:

Once you reach friendship level 7 with Merengue you can invite her to your campsite.
Furniture that you can craft for her includes the Soft-Serve Lamp, the Cookie Rug, Sweets Table (Basic), the Dessert Case, and the Sweets Sofa.
Once you reach friendship level 7 with Merengue, you will acquire her Chef’s Outfit. At friendship level 15, she’ll request you craft a Candy Machine. Following her requests will help you to eventually reach the current highest friendship level, which is level 35.

9. Goldie

Villager Introduction:

Goldie (pictured on the right) is one of the most down-to-earth pups you could meet!
This natural villager will fill your campsite with calming, craftable furniture.
Her special catchphrase is “woof”.

What Makes Goldie Awesome:

She’s a soft-spoken, golden pup!
She’s a book lover!
What it’s like to talk to her: “Wow, you just HAD that this whole time? And there aren’t even any bites out of it”. Even though the game classifies her as a normal villager, Goldie has low expectations and the biggest heart!

How To Invite Goldie To Your Campsite and Perks:

Once you reach friendship level 1 with Goldie you can invite her to your campsite.
Furniture that you can craft for her includes the Ranch Couch, the Aloe plant, the Hammock, and the Worktable.
Once you reach friendship level 7 with Goldie, you will acquire her Dapper Tee. At friendship level 15, she’ll request you craft a Harpsichord. Following her requests will help you to eventually reach the current highest friendship level, which is level 35.

8. Punchy

Villager Introduction:

Punchy (pictured on the left) is one of two of my favorite smug-looking cat villagers. I mean what’s not to love about a cat that is classified as lazy in the game. The relatable content is just too much to handle!
This natural villager will fill your campsite with every piece of blue furniture he can find.
His special catchphrase is “mrmpht”.

What Makes Punchy Awesome:

Lazy cats are a part of what makes life great! Need I say more.
He’s a friendly couch potato!
What it’s like to talk to him: “Hey, Villager! Oh, so sleepy … Ate too much sandwich”. The game classifies him as a lazy villager which means Punchy loves food and relaxing!

Once you reach friendship level 5 with Punchy you can invite him to your campsite.
Furniture that you can craft for him includes the Blue Bookcase, the Bromeliaceae plant, the Blue Cabinet, the Blue Table, and the Blue Bench.
Once you reach friendship level 7 with Punchy, you will acquire his Gray Tartan Tee. At friendship level 15, he’ll request you craft a Cat Tower. Following his requests will help you to eventually reach the current highest friendship level, which is level 35.

7. Raddle

Villager Introduction:

Raddle has got to be everyone’s favorite, possibly villainous, poisonous doctor frog. At least, he’s mine!
This cool villager will fill your campsite with all of your doctor’s office furniture needs.
His special catchphrase is “aaach—”.

What Makes Raddle Awesome:

He’s got a mysterious villain-type aesthetic going for him.
He’s always wearing an iconic mask!
What it’s like to talk to him: “That’s how I ended up with my antique tire collection”. Even though the game classifies him as a lazy villager, Raddle is random and odd and just wonderfully wacky!

How To Invite Raddle To Your Campsite and Perks:

Once you reach friendship level 7 with Raddle you can invite him to your campsite.
Furniture that you can craft for him includes the Office Cabinet, the Operating-Room Cart, the Modern Office Chair, the EKG Machine, and the Exam Table.
Once you reach friendship level 7 with Raddle, you will acquire his Doctor’s Coat. At friendship level 15, he’ll request you craft a Doctor’s Desk. Following his requests will help you to eventually reach the current highest friendship level, which is level 35.

6. Lucky

Villager Introduction:

Lucky (pictured in the center) really lives up to the phrase “happy go lucky”. This cute pup doesn’t seem to live up to his name but he smiles right through it. He really is a man’s best friend!
This historical villager will fill your campsite with everything spooky and fun.
His special catchphrase is “rrr-owch”.

What Makes Lucky Awesome:

He’s a super nice dog wrapped up like a mummy!
There’s nothing bad about a good sport!
What it’s like to talk to him: “I gotta hand it to you, Villager. This campsite is good-vibes central”. Even though the game classifies him as a lazy villager, Lucky never stops the positive vibes!

How To Invite Lucky To Your Campsite and Perks:

Once you reach friendship level 5 with Lucky you can invite him to your campsite.
Furniture that you can craft for him includes the Fireplace, the Ramshackle Floor, the Creepy Statue, the Candle, and the Creepy Skeleton.
Once you reach friendship level 7 with Lucky, you will acquire his No. 23 Shirt. At friendship level 15, he’ll request you craft a Creepy Clock. Following his requests will help you to eventually reach the current highest friendship level, which is level 35.

5. Muffy

Villager Introduction:

Muffy wins the best goth girlfriend award in my book! I mean look at her; she’s adorable!
This elegant villager will fill your campsite with lush and extravagant furniture.
Her special catchphrase is “nightshade”.

What Makes Muffy Awesome:

She’s a cute sheep just waiting to help her friends out.
Everyone loves a spooky, gloomy girl with a heart of gold!
What it’s like to talk to her: “I would punch every single ghost right in the face! … Do ghosts have faces? Doesn’t matter. I’d still win”. The game classifies her as an uchi villager which means Muffy is caring and straightforward!

Once you reach friendship level 3 with Muffy you can invite her to your campsite.

Beau (pictured on the right) is just the cutest, coziest villager! It’s easy to see why he’s often a fan favorite.

What Makes Beau Awesome:

He’s wearing a super snazzy looking sweater!
Everyone wants to “fawn” all over him because he’s the nicest guy in town! Pun most certainly intended!
What it’s like to talk to him: “I believe kindness is its own reward, but it’ll also help you go up another level! Like, literally”. The game classifies him as a lazy villager which means Beau is laid back and always hospitable!

Once you reach friendship level 3 with Beau you can invite him to your campsite.
Furniture that you can craft for him includes the Round Mini Cactus, the Green Chair, the Ranch Hutch, the Ranch Bed, and the Green Desk.
Once you reach friendship level 7 with Beau, you will acquire his Deer Shirt. At friendship level 15, he’ll request you craft a Bonfire. Following his requests will help you to eventually reach the current highest friendship level, which is level 35.

3. Marshal

Villager Introduction:

Marshal (pictured in the center) is yet another fan favorite. He’s quite the open book and he’s definitely ready to form a strong bond with anyone he meets!
This rustic villager will fill your campsite with stylish and super cool furniture.
His special catchphrase is “sulky”.

What Makes Marshal Awesome:

He gets straight to the point and always says what’s on his mind.
He knows how to speak the ancient Latin language!
What it’s like to talk to him: “I mean, I might ask you to read some of my fanfiction. And I don’t let just ANYONE see it”. Even though the game classifies him as a smug villager, Marshal is certainly a gentleman but also kind of a flirt!

Once you reach friendship level 7 with Punchy you can invite him to your campsite.
Furniture that you can craft for him includes the Cactus, the Sloppy Screen, the Cowhide Rug, the Sloppy Table, and the Sloppy Sofa.
Once you reach friendship level 7 with Marshal, you will acquire his Denim Jacket. At friendship level 15, he’ll request you craft a Siphon. Following his requests will help you to eventually reach the current highest friendship level, which is level 35.

2. Apollo

Villager Introduction:

Apollo (pictured on the left) is broody and definitely ready to win your heart but that’s not something he’s going to make outwardly obvious!
This cool villager will fill your campsite with radical modern furniture.
His special catchphrase is “pah”.

What Makes Apollo Awesome:

He’s the epitome of cool!
People often misunderstand him but doesn’t his aura of mystery just makes him cooler! I think so.
What it’s like to talk to him: “Oh, man … you’re making me feel feelings again. Haven’t felt those for years. Thanks, kiddo”. Even though the game classifies him as a cranky villager, Apollo seems out-of-touch with popular social trends but he definitely knows what it means to be a good friend!

The smirk on his face is absolutely one of his best features!
He’s easygoing and doesn’t really care what others think about him.
What it’s like to talk to him: “Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Aliens”. Even though the game classifies him as a lazy villager, Bob is wacky and definitely ready to be in all of the memes!

What Are The Best Camps in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp?

The possibilities for design in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp have become practically limitless! The game series is evolving with the times.

For simulation gamers, it’s all about customization, which is exactly what Pocket Camp does. Here are some of the up and coming gamers and their camp setups:

10. The Cat Cafe

Credit for this campsite is to be given to @pickham on Reddit.
Looks like this cafe gets its cats to work! This lovely setup is mostly built out of items from Beau’s Artisanal Cookie.

So what makes this #10:

All of the Villagers invited are cats! Pickham cleverly recreated the popular dining activity with this adorable setup.
The way the items were arranged really shouts Autumn Bakery chic. What else could one be looking for right now?!
Even the little details are incredible! Pickham placed three items from the cookie together so that the Villagers could interact with them in a way that makes their camp look like a fully-operated cafe.

9. The Witchy Study

Credit for this campsite is to be given to @Taro_milktea on Reddit.
With Halloween having passed, one MUST catch up on their spell studies to continue on with the spooky spirit. Taro_milktea does just that with this cabin design. This setup is comprised of crafted items and items from the Fishing Tourney 11 event, Lucky’s Frightful Cookie, and Muffy’s Creepy Cookie.

What makes #9 so special:

Taro_milktea crafted and placed items from different events and made the space their own creation: a witchy paradise!
The little details such as the tray with potions and the pumpkin bush in the back tie the room together!
This game is practically a simulation lover’s dream! Taro_milktea definitely has the skills to arrange a space that looks put together and super fresh. Great job, Taro!

8. The Cozy Cabin

Credit for this campsite is to be given to @SailorStarHater on Reddit.
This wonderful setup makes me just want to cozy up with a book while wearing a big sweater! SailorStarHater filled their cabin with items from the Fishing Tourney 18 event, the Fetching Fall Leaves event, and the City Slickin’ with Kicks event.

The best parts of #8 include:

SailorStarHater knows exactly how to execute an aesthetically pleasing color scheme. Even the Villagers follow the cozy fall feel that they went for with their design!
From Isabelle’s scooter to the craftable Mountain Bike, this cabin setup screams Central Park in Autumn!
I mustn't forget to mention the composition of the design has created such a lively atmosphere. One of my favorite things in a camp is the ability for invited Villagers to interact and SailorStarHater has definitely outdone themselves with that

7. The Royal Garden

Credit for this campsite is to be given to @beegdogs on Reddit.
Beegdogs’ design celebrates a current event: the 2nd Anniversary of the game! This setup consists of items from Isabelle’s Double Dazzle event and the Royal Party Collection.

So what makes this #7:

The blue flower walkway and the stance of beegdogs’ Camper create a magical moment!
Beegdogs is certainly celebrating the event in a marvelous fashion! As I’ve mentioned, the game really lets its players create their own world, hence its status as a great simulation game, but the world doesn’t just stop at campsite setup. Beegdogs’ Camper is dressed appropriately as a royal princess!
The light color scheme also ties this camp together! Beegdogs tells a lovely story by capturing this photo at nighttime. Anyone could and should fall in love with this dreamy royal garden!

6. The Autumn Aesthetic

Credit for this campsite is to be given to @malamoje on Twitter.
Malamoje’s cute, white-haired Camper fits perfectly in this warm-toned, aesthetically-pleasing camp design. This cozy campsite is composed of items from Maple’s Autumn Cookie and the Fetching Fall Leaves event.

What makes #6 so special:

Malamoje has created a wonderful camp setup! Overall, my favorite part is the perfectly timed, shiny star steam coming from the boiling pot of soup. Absolutely adorable!
The placement of the weeds in the background and the leaves on the ground creates a camp design that feels comfy and complete.
The greatest camps are the ones that place items in the perfect arrangement that make them look like they’re exactly where they’re supposed to be. This one certainly does that!

5. The Horror Circus

Credit for this campsite is to be given to @Mely_moon on Reddit.
To further push the spook factor and the popularity of circus clowns, Mely_moon has designed this camp using items from Bob’s Circus Cookie and Jack’s Ghoulish Gala.

The best parts of #5 include:

Everything about this camp design is practically perfect! But the best part of it is the color scheme that Mely_moon has excellently put together from the outfits on their Villagers to their choice of furniture items.
I absolutely adore that every Villager in this setup looks like they belong! It’s obvious that the design of this campsite was really thought through.
The five-star item from Bob’s Circus Cookie acts as a wonderful centerpiece to this whole camp. Great job, Mely_moon!

4. The Fall Fairy

Credit for this campsite is to be given to @envywinters on Reddit.
Envywinters is definitely ready for plenty of tiny, magical visitors with this camp design. This setup was built using items from Maple’s Autumn Cookie and the Fetching Fall Leaves event.

So what makes this #4:

Envywinters’ Camper is dressed in wonderful warm clothing and the deer ears and squirrel tail from the Animal Apparel Collection 1 which work so well with the theme of their camp.
The placement of stones, the woodpile, and the log table make the camp look fantastically quaint.
The Autumn Fairy Jar in the background really push the campsite in a positive direction to give it the look of a fall fairy wonderland!

3. The Cottage Garden

This beautifully composed campsite is made up of items from Isabelle’s Double Dazzle event, Beau’s Artisanal Cookie, and several crafted items.

What makes #3 so special:

Myonmyon did an incredible job building this camp! Every little detail comes together so well and it makes me yearn for my own muted-pastel garden.
This setup definitely reminds me of a scene from a Ghibli movie and that boosts it into heavenly territory!
The adorable red bike that’s placed in the front is an excellent cherry on top of this camp sundae!

2. The Wolf’s Patch

Looks like Little Red Riding Hood was able to settle her differences with the Big Bad Wolf for a fun fall picnic! This setup is filled with items from Maple’s Autumn Cookie and the Fishing Tourney 19 event.

One of the best parts of this cute little campsite is the Sleeping Wolf Plushie from Bunnie’s Li’l Red Cookie.
The little cowboy boots placed on the picnic blankets add cute character to this camp!

This camp does a wonderful job of recreating a popular youtube phenomenon. The lofi hip hop scene is perfectly composed in this cabin setup!
The cleverly placed Sapling Clock works so well in this cute camp design!
Colorless_Ink uses items mostly from ordinary cookies and crafting items, which is such a marvelous skill! They’ve created something totally unique from easily accessible items!
