Which Are The Best Caitlyn Skins?

Caitlyn is a League of Legends Marksman champion. She slays enemies with her gun from long range and she's pretty deadly.

She has 10 skins of which not all of them are currently available but you can get them all if you are lucky through the hextech crafting system.

10. Resistance Caitlyn

Ratatatata, Resistance is here

Resistance Caitlyn represents her as a Guerilla soldier. The skin is extremely basic and it only gives Caitlyn a clothes change. The skin is based on Caitlyns classic look and it really doesnt look that good and I would definitelly not recommend it.

What makes this skin Mediocre:

A new look for Caitlyn and new textures for her rifle
It is very cheap and if you want to just have a skin on Caitlyn then you can buy it
The splash art isn't bad so if you have a mastery rating on her it will look cool in the loading screen

How to get Resistance Caitlyn:

You can purchase her in the LoL store for 520 RP or get her through the Hextech Crafting system

9. Sheriff Caitlyn

Step away, the sheriff is in town!

This skin gives a wild-west look on Caitlyn. It is an interesting design but it also brings nothing much to the table. As the previous skin, it doesnt go far from the classic Caitlyn look and with no new particles or sounds- I wouldnt recommend it really.

Its a legacy skin and doesn't look so bad and its pretty cheap.

What makes this skin mediocre:

Moderate changes for Caitlyn and texture changes for her rifle.
The splash art looks alluring and it will make you look nice in the loading screen
If you dont mind the lack of changes, being so cheap it might be good for you
Its not a bad skin since its legacy so it is quite rare to find

How to get Sheriff Caitlyn:

Since its legacy you cant buy it in the LoL shop but you can get it in the Hextech Crafting system

8. Artic Warfare Caitlyn

Its cold...But shes got you on her sight

This skin represents Caitlyn as a sniper operative in the cold climate. Although its a cool idea, the execution isnt much besides her model and gun change.

It has no new particles nor sound effects. But again, its not that expensive so If you can afford it, its not a bad skin to own.

What makes this skin OK:

New model and a gun change for Caitlyn
The clothes look elegant, realistic and actually good looking
For a change, she is actually dressed as a sniper rather than just trying to get that „sexy look“

You can purchase her in the LoL store for 750 RP or get her in the Hextech Crafting system

7. Safari Caitlyn

Lets get on the tour.

This skin takes a look on Caitlyn as a safari travellist. It has that Crocodile Dundee vibe and it's actually not that bad since it also has no particle or voice over changes.

The skin is quite apropriate for Caitlyn since snipers and hunters have things in common so its a cool idea. The gun looks quite awesome because of that Steampunk look and she is dressed properly for a safari excursion.

The problem is that its quite pricy.

What makes this skin OK:

New model for Caitlyn and her rifle
The skin has an interesting splash art and a cool background so you might like that
The gun looks pretty badass so that is an amazing feature, and its a legacy so its a rare skin

How to get Safari Caitlyn:

Its Legacy so you cant get it in the shop but you can obtain it with the Hextech Crafting system

6. Officer Caitlyn

All enemies of the law will be caught

This skin represents Caitlyn as a sexualised police sniper. The skin is kind of ridiculous in my opinion because it more looks like a stripper dressed in a police costume than a real police woman.

Its based a lot on her classic skin and is extremely expensive for the things you get on this skin.The splash art looks cool but God did she break her foot there?

Its not that bad but there are definitely better options.

What makes this skin OK:

Model change for Caitlyn and a pretty cool rifle change
If you are looking for a sexy skin then you might like this skin
Besides the leg, the splash art is nice and it will look cool with that blue Lvl 7 mastery badge :)

5. Headhunter Caitlyn

She is coming for you...

With this skin we are finally entering the realm of better Caitlyn skins. This skin represents Caitlyn as a Futuristic sniper.

Her outfit looks pretty dope and the overall feel on this skin is quite nice, especially when you think that it costs the same as Sheriff and Safari Caitlyn skins.

The Sci-fi look is amazing and it will definitely make you feel as a sniper woman from the future.

What makes this skin Good:

New model for Caitlyn and her rifle, new particles on all of her abilities and new sound base
An amazing splash art that will make you look awesome in the loading screen
A quite interesting gun design, a new recall, new animations for the gun while standing idle and a new joke

How to get Headhunter Caitlyn:

You can get it for a nice price of 975 RP in the LoL store or get it in the Hextech Crafting system

4. Pool Party Caitlyn

She is gonna shoot you with her water gun

Featured in the summer event, Pool Party Caitlyn is a straightforward skin that gives a look on her wearing a bikini and wielding a water gun.

The skin has really neat water effects on all her abilities and auto attacks, and the theme of the skin is very well done.

It may cost more but if you like this kind of skins its definitely worth it.

What makes this skin Good:

New model for Caitlyn and her Gun (water gun- but it still hits like a truck)
New water particles on all her abilities, auto attacks, recall and new sound effects for all of the above
A smoothly executed animation on her transparent shirt as well as the overall skin experience

You can purchase it in LoL store for 1350 RP or get it in the Hextech Crafting system

3. Lunar Wraith Caitlyn

Magic and guns..best combination

Released during the Lunar Event in 2016., Lunar Wraith Caitlyn mixes guns with magic- and quite nicely if I may add.

This skin stands apart from all the other skins because of her dreamlike look and unique model.

It feels quite smooth and well designed , but the bad part is that it is a Legacy skin so it is not obtainable in the League store.

What makes this skin Good:

New Model for Caitlyn and her gun, giving her an interesting magic-like look
New particle animations on all her abilities, new sounds, new recall and new dance
Its a rare skin since it hasnt been available for a while and its a nice skin to have in your collection

How to get Lunar Wraith Caitlyn:

You can not buy it in the LoL store since its Legacy but if you are lucky you can obtain her in the Hextech Crafing system

Probably one of the best skins in the entire Arcade collection, Arcade Caitlyn goes almost to the very top of our list.

The skin is incredibly well designed (smooth lines, clean design, great feel to it, etc.). The same goes for the prestige edition that is probably one of the best in the prestige edition group of skins.

It has the most difference between the regular skin, the gun looks fricking amazing and the entire skin is actually awesome.

What makes these skins Awesome:

Entire model changes, the guns look incredible
You feel completely badass with this skin, the arcade theme is hit on point and if you own this skin, believe me- you will love it
There are new particles on all of her abilities, new sound effects, recall and other
If you main Caitlyn then this is definitely one of the best skins, if not the best!

How to get Arcade Caitlyn:

The basic skin costs 1350 RP and you can get it in the shop, the prestige edition costed an whooping 1800 Arcade points during the arcade event (its really hard to get 1800 if you are not willing to empty your pockets)

One of the pulsfire line of skins, Pulsefire Caitlyn takes the number 1 spot in our list. This skin shows Caitlyn as a ranger from the future using cybernetic technology.

This skin is simply amazing. She represents a time policeman taking care of "temporal thrash". She says for herself that she is a temporal garbage woman lol. Her gun is simply amazing, you will pay bigger money for this legendary skin, but trust me- its worth it.

What makes this skin Incredible:

You feel completely amazing and badass when rocking this skin
There are new particles on everything, new voice over new sounds on her abilities, she drives a gun-mortorcycle when leaving the base, new recall and taunts, etc.
She has a gun that transforms when you level up her ultimate: Ace in the Hole
