‘Alina of the Arena’ throws players into the gladiator’s arena to fight for their survival, often outnumbered and out-armed.

‘Alina of the Arena’ is a roguelite deckbuilding game, but unlike traditional deckbuilding games, ‘Alina of the Arena’ adds an additional dimension to the game by enabling positioning through the use of a hex-based combat and positioning system.

The use of the hex-based positioning system allows players to not only attack and defend, but to also use terrain to their advantage, or dodge enemy attacks and feint moves that’ll trick their enemies into hitting each other as they attack the player.

The game offers a variety of different ability cards, with players being able to build and customize their deck with cards of their choice as they progress through the game and unlock new cards. Some of the many different cards that players can pick from include strike cards, kick cards, hammer cards, fatigue cards, defense cards, and more.

For an extra boost to their abilities, players will be able to dual-wield weapons such as daggers. This will allow them to deal double damage, do rapid counter-attacks or double strikes, and defend and attack at the same time.
