1. Champion XP Farm

Grinding for Champion XP is one of the most boring and repetitive things to do in Marvel’s Avengers. Unlike the normal XP, Champion XP is used to upgrade selected stats that the player wants to increase, and it can only be increased after reaching level 50 on a hero.

However, Champion XP takes so long to level up, it completely destroys a player’s motivation. Luckily, some have found an easier way to level up Champion XP.

In the mission, Up From the Depth, there is an Adaptoid in the beginning of the level that drops an insane amount of XP than normal Adaptoids. As such, it has become a gold mine for Champion XP. Use whatever XP booster you have to do this and within one hour, you will have gained 180,000 Champion XP or more, depending on how fast you beat him.

2. XP Boosters

XP Boosters are normal in today’s age of gaming. However, Marvel’s Avengers XP Boosters are easily acquirable compared to other games. XP Boosters are offered every week in the marketplace and can be claimed free of charge. Not only that, but XP Boosters are available in Shipments, and can range from 3 days to 2 hours depending on what you get.

XP Boosters are helpful when you plan on maxing out all of your characters, so it’s best to take advantage of it.

3. Thor Level Up

This is for all the Thor mains. If you’re thinking of leveling up your Thor to max level, use this method to do it quick.

In the final battle against MODOK, there is a segment where Thor needs to charge up his Bifrost Heroic in order to bypass MODOK’s shield. Instead of doing that, pay attention to the enemies around you. They spawn in after each wave is defeated. There is a glitch in the game where enemies that are in the middle of spawning in can die in one hit, no matter what health they have.

Taking advantage of this, use your Support and Assault Heroic to inflict lightning damage just as enemies spawn in, allowing you to kill them in one hit. To make it faster, I advise using an XP Booster.

2. Heart of the Monster

There is a mission called Heart of the Monster that spawns you near high XP enemies. This mission is only acquirable by progressing Hulk’s Iconic Missions chain. Once you unlock the mission, start the mission and select any character you want to level up.

When the mission starts, you’ll find two Quad Mechs near the police station. Quad Mechs drop a lot of XP, so defeating two will grant you a huge amount. Once you defeat the two Quad Mechs, simply reload checkpoint and fly to where they are and kill them again.

To fasten the process, use an XP Booster, since most of them are free and easily earnable in Shipments with Units.

1. Spider-Man XP Farm

For PlayStation players only, since Spider-Man is only available on that platform sadly. With the release of Spider-Man, you’ll obviously want to get the web-head to his max level in both gear and XP. Lucky for you, that’s easy to do.

For gear, you can do that by running Vault missions, which drops a lot of high-quality gear. It’s also a good place to farm XP, but that’s not the main XP farm for Spidey.

For XP, simply play Up From the Depths with XP Boosters on and defeat the first Adaptoid you see. It drops a lot of XP, and with the XP Booster, it’ll drop even more.

Grinding for exotic can be tedious, but here's how some ways that will help you get them faster.

5. Hive Missions

Hive missions one of the most difficult and longest in Marvel’s Avengers. Each floor contains powerful enemies that will no doubt blast you into pieces if you aren’t well equipped.

Completing Hive missions, and even playing through them, really, will drop the player incredibly powerful gear. Exotics can drop at random, but a very low chance. However, if you successfully completed the Hive mission chain, you will get a exotic gear for the Avenger you are using, guaranteed.

4. Priority Missions

A quick way to getting exotics for any characters are Priority Missions. These missions are previous missions you have completed that have been given steroids to challenge the player on a more difficult level.

However, completing Priority Missions grant players an exotic with whatever Avenger they use. The Priority Mission only happens once a week, but sometimes the game will allow once a day when the developers announce a special event for Priority Missions.

3. Vault Missions

If you’re looking to get more gear to get your main Avenger to gear level 150, then Vault missions are the best way to do so. These missions are specifically designed to challenge the player to find and fight for the vault full of gear before granting it.

The game has multiple ways to get Vault missions. Thanks to patch 2.3, Vault missions are now daily missions, which allows players to access Vault missions easily. The daily Vault missions also supply better rewards, including exotic gear.

2. Villain Sectors

Villain sectors are missions where you can fight bosses in-game. That’s right, you can fight Taskmaster, Abomination, the Scientist Supreme and other bosses for fun, while earning gear.

Villain Sectors drop exotic gears, but at a very low percentage, so it will take you some time to do so. I recommend running the Scientist Supreme Villain Sector once a week, as there is a missions chain every week that requires you to beat the mission. It will drop exotics, but at a very low chance.

1. Raid

Marvel’s Avengers have added their first raid, Discordant Sound, and has enticed players by promising gear that will increase the max gear level from 150 to 175.

Playing through the raid and completing it will guarantee you exotic gear. However, this is not a single player mission. You will need a team of 4 in order to access the raid and collect the exotic gear that lies inside the raid.

5. Vault Missions

With the arrival of Shipments, Units have become a much valuable resource in the game. It allows players to purchase cosmetic items in the store, or be used in Shipments to get random items ranging from cosmetics to XP Boosters.

The biggest thing about Shipments, however, is the monthly Shipment skin. The exclusive Shipment skins that have been released so far have included 2 MCU skins, a legendary skin, and two epic skins. As such, people now have something to look forward to at the end of every month to find out what the next shipment skin will be.

Grinding Units can be a hassle, but people have now started finding ways to farm Units to prepare for the next Shipment skin, including this guide.

The Snowy Tundra Vault is a mission in Marvel’s Avengers that contains lots of chests with Units inside. Simply play through the mission and follow the chest points on the map to claim your Units. You can play through other Vault missions to get the same result, but Snowy Tundra Vault has more chests available.

4. Priority Missions

Priority missions are a great way to farm not only gear, but also Units. While you can get exotics at the end of the missions, you can also get Units from multiple chests in the area. The difference between Units in Priority missions and regular missions is that you earn more in Priority missions.

Priority missions are available weekly, and can be repeatedly be replayed once completed.

3. Hive Missions

Playing through Hive missions is very rewarding, especially the Heroic Gauntlet missions. Not only do you get a lot of great gear, even the occasional exotic here and there, but you can also earn a lot of Units just by going through the floors and opening chests.

I advise doing the Heroic Gauntlet missions, as you can earn an exotic at the end once you complete the mission chain, as well as going through floors with chests in them.

2. OLT Mission

Omega Level Threats are missions in Marvel’s Avengers that offer challenging combat with satisfying rewards. Currently, there is only the Family Reunion mission for Omega Level Threats, but the mission can be run through to get a large number of Units.

Run through the mission as usual and open any chest you see on the way in order to get the Units. However, you will need a squad of 4 to start this mission, so be sure to invite any other friends or players with you to make it easier.

The Discordant Sound raid is Marvel’s Avengers hardest content yet. Of course, with challenging content comes with great rewards. Playing through the raid not only grants you gear and exotics to choose from with each checkpoint, you will also receive Unit as well.

5. Vault Missions

In Marvel’s Avengers, you have to level up two things. Your character XP and your power level. Both things naturally increase in level as you play the game. But what if you want to level up faster? Specifically, your power level so you can tackle those missions restricted behind a higher power level?

There are multiple ways to increase power level fast. One of which are the Vault Missions. These missions are designed to challenge the player by throwing waves of many at the Avengers, all the while trying to unlock the vault.

Succeed, however, and you will be rewarded with gear that are higher in power level than what you have. In turn, you can swap out your current gear or use the higher-level gear to upgrade the current gear you have. In the end, you will have a higher power level than before.

4. Vendors

While gear is primarily earned by fighting enemies and completing missions, you can also purchase gear for a quick power level boost. There are four gear vendors available in the game located in the Chimera, Shield Substation Zero, The Ant Hill, and Birnin Zana.

In those four outposts, you can approach the gear vendors located there and purchase gear. Sometimes, you will find gear that are stronger than the ones you have. Other times, you will find gear that are just slightly stronger. I recommend saving your resources by purchasing gear that are three or four levels higher than your current gear.

If you want a significant boost in your power level, the faction vendors offer stronger gear. Only available in special vendors located in Shield Substation Zero and The Ant Hill, the faction vendors are the only vendors that offer ISO-8 gear.

3. Corrupted Vibranium

With the introduction of War for Wakanda, Corrupted Vibranium has become a strong source of powerful gear to rapidly increase your power level. While the Corrupted Vibranium is only available in the Wakanda region, the Corrupted Vibranium event allows the Vibranium to spread to other regions.

Ideally, you should take advantage of the event to get powerful gear. However, the event only happens within a week, and it is entirely up to Crystal Dynamics when that event will happen. You can still use the Corrupted Vibranium located in Wakanda in the meantime.

2. Hive Missions

Hive missions are gauntlet missions that lets you plough through enemies and floors. Each floor will have strong enemies and powerful loot, and will sometimes randomly spawn a chest containing gear with a higher power level than what you currently have.

All Hive missions are great way to grind for loot, but you should focus on doing the Last Avenger Standing Hive as well as the Mega Hive. Completing the Mega Hive mission chain will reward you with powerful gear, as well as an exotic. Completing the Last Avenger Standing Hive will reward you the same thing, with a chance to earn an exotic.

The quickest way to level up your power level with gear is chests. Chests are everywhere in Marvel’s Avengers, and there’s no shortage of them. Finding them is even easy, as the game maps out where the nearest chests are. Of course, there are the hidden chests, but those are easy to find with flying characters like Thor and Iron Man.

Vault missions are the best way to speed up the power leveling process, as the opening area of Vault missions are loaded with chests. Find a DNA chest, and you will certainly get a much more powerful gear.

5. Chests

In Marvel’s Avengers, gear is important. It’s always a good idea to upgrade your gear to the highest level in order to keep up with other players, as some missions require a specific power level that can only be obtained by upgrading your gears. But how can you upgrade your gear?

Enter Upgrade Modules. This resource is very important once you reach power level 120, as higher-level gear starts becoming harder to obtain, thus forcing you to upgrade your gear.

In order get more Upgrade Modules, you simply have to open chests in every mission you play in. Chests contain gear, Units and other resources like Upgrade Modules. Finding chests aren’t hard, and the rarer the chest, the bigger the rewards.

4. Gear Dismantle

When you have an abundance of gear that you don’t need or never plan to use, the best thing to do then is to dismantle the gear in order to get resources, like the Upgrade Modules.

Sure, you can save the gear and hoard it until you forget you have it, but it’s much better to just dismantle it and get it over with. Collect all the gear you don’t need and put them in your inventory vault, then dismantle all of them to make the process quicker.

3. Days of Anger Mission

In the mission Days of Anger, there is a chest in the beginning of the level that contains resources, like the Upgrade Modules. Simply load the mission, open the chest, and return to Quinjet and restart the process. It’s unknown if reloading checkpoint works, but you can try it out yourself and see.

However, this process was used with Double Resource event ongoing, so the process was completed faster. If you are doing the process without the event, it will no doubt take you longer, but the end result is still the same.

2. Shipments

The Shipment system is one of Marvel’s Avengers greatest additions. Not only does it add a new way to earn cosmetics, but it also allows players to earn resources just by playing the game and earning Units.

Shipments cost 500 Units to open one, and depending on the contents of the Shipment, you will get Upgrade Modules easy. If you have a large abundance of Units available, I recommend you to splurge it all on Shipments so you can get cool new cosmetics and resources to help upgrade your gear.

1. DNA Chests

DNA Chests are considered the best chests in the game, as opening them grants you powerful gear and other items, like Upgrade Modules. However, getting them to open is difficult, as you need DNA Keys, which can only be obtained when defeating Villain Sectors.

However, if you have a large amount of DNA Keys already, then you can open DNA Chests all day. Start any Vault mission and look for the DNA Chests. Follow the video to find all DNA Chests in the Snowy Tundra Vault.

The King of Wakanda will bow to no man or god with the strength granted by these amazing builds.

The Black Panther graces the world of Marvel's Avengers with his incredible gameplay. As such, players have created build that take advantage of Black Panther's strenght and skills.

1. Wakanda Forever Build

The phrase “Wakanda Forever” was created by the legend himself, Chadwick Boseman, and director of the first Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ryan Coogler during the filming of the first Black Panther movie. The phrase became so wildly popular that after its premiere in Black Panther, it eventually made its way to other forms of media by the King of Wakanda.

In Marvel’s Avengers, T’Challa shouts the phrase during fights, and has an emote of the same name. Naturally, a build was named after the famous phrase, titled the Wakanda Forever build. The build focuses on a tank dealing high damage, which perfectly describes Black Panther as a character.

Starting off with melee gear, you’ll need a gear piece that with Faultless Buff, Powerful Scream, and Apex Boon perks. Ideally, your Apex Boon perk, which increases critical hit chance for Signature Attacks, should be the same thing, but for Power Attacks.

In range gear, you will need Adept Spark and Kinetic Particle Projector perks. The third perk can be whatever you want, as it is not important. However, the ideal perk to replace Adept Spark with, which triggers a Heroic Charge Burst when hitting enemies in their weak points, is the perk that triggers Heroic Charge Burst when getting critical hits. That way, you can trigger the perk more frequently.

For your defensive gear, this will be the only exotic gear required for this build. It’s called the Battle Guard of the Ancestors, and you will need it primarily for its perks. Your heroic gear should be the Prayer of the Ancestors gear piece, which is a legendary gear piece that’s part of a set. You will need this for the first two perks, Bast’s Chosen Amplification and Bast’s Chosen Extension. The ideal last perk should be the same, but grants Heroic Charge Boost when defeating 3 enemies.

For your artifacts, since this is a high damage build, we’ll need 2 Red ISO-8’s for your Minor Artifacts. As for the Major Artifact, we’re focusing on having the Heroic meters filled up as much as possible, so the best Major Artifact for this build is the Ring of the Nibelung.

In your Specialty skill tree, you’ll need to have Kimoyo Stinger, Shadow Physics, No More Mercy, Your Father’s Son, Panther’s Roar, and History is Shared active.

In the Mastery tree, have Pouncing Fury, Heroic Spirit, Explosive Present, Ear Ringing, Oxford Graduate, Kinetic Absorption, Kinetic Damage, Speed of Sound, Wakandan Style, Cool Vibrations, and A Nation’s Hero active. You may notice that the first bar of the Melee section has no required skill, which is true. You can freely select what skill you want on that bar, as long as the other skills listed beforehand are active.

2. Immortal Black Panther Build

Black Panther’s intrinsic ability, much like the movies, shows him absorbing kinetic energy and releasing said energy into a powerful burst, eliminating any enemies near him. With that in mind, players have created builds that work on the strength of Black Panther’s melee damage and heroic damage.

One of those builds is titled “Immortal Black Panther” build. The build doesn’t exactly make him immortal, but simply strong enough to sustain enough damage to last an entire match. The real star of the show is the high damage for both Melee and Heroic.

To start, all of your gear must have high Valor and Might stats, as this is a Melee and Heroic build. With that in mind, your melee gear needs to have the Powerful Blizzard perk. No other perks are needed, as you just need this perk to initiate the Battery Effect status. Your range gear on the other hand, should have the Particle Projector perk. The video states Kpinga Particle Projector, but you can have any Particle Projector perk. Alongside that perk, you will need the Targeted Buff perk, as it will help you deal more damage with it being a Damage Buff perk.

For defensive gear, you’re looking for the Reactive Empowerment perk, which grants an Intrinsic Burst when taking damage. An alternative perk that can work for this build is the Reactive Buff, which grants a Damage Buff every time you get hit. Lastly, for your heroic gear, you will need the Powerful Blitz and Berserker Spark perks.

Moving to your artifacts, as this is a Melee and Heroic build, you will need a Yellow ISO-8 for heroic damage, and Red ISO-8 for melee damage as your Minor Artifacts. Your Major Artifact should be the Ring of the Nibelung once again, so you can get your Heroics charged faster.

With gear and artifacts done, we can move on to skills, starting with the Specialty tree. You need Kimoyo Blast, Shadow Physics, No More Mercy, Panther’s Roar, and Ancestral Memory. The second Assault Heroic skill can be any of your choosing.

In the Mastery tree, activate Reach the Stars, Pouncing Fury, Heroic Spirit, Seeking Surprise, Armor Piercing, Panther’s Challenge, Kinetic Absorption, Eternal Drum, Speed of Sound, Danger on the Wind, Cool Vibrations, and Vibranium Mastery.

3. Sonic Black Panther Build

Black Panther uses the Vibranium in his suit to combat enemies to Wakanda. But in Marvel’s Avengers, thanks to the gameplay created by the developers, Black Panther can use other status effects to deal damage. One of those status effects is Sonic, which is what is used to corrupt the Vibranium in the story. Ironic, isn’t it?

This build focuses on melee damage, as do most popular Black Panther builds. Your gear will need high Might to up the melee damage, but be careful not to disregard other stats like defense. So, in order to get the build, your melee gear will need the Faultless Buff perk as well as Heavyweight Scream for the Sonic status effect. However, it is advised to do have Sonic for range and Pym for melee.

For range gear, you will primarily need the status effect perk here. The guide advises to have Sonic for range and Pym for melee to make the Battery effect faster, but the reverse is still applicable. You can still use Sonic melee and Pym range, but you should switch it to the advised combination once you have the appropriate perks.

For your defensive and heroic gear, you will need 2 exotics. Battle Guard of the Ancestors for defense and Legacy of the Ancestors for heroic. These are the only exotics needed for the build.

Once you are done with gear, you will need to focus on artifacts. Your Minor Artifacts will be 2 Red ISO-8’s, since this is a melee build. The Major Artifact will be Tactigon, so the Battery effect will be used to its full potential.

In your Specialty tree, you will need to have Kimoyo Stinger and Kimoyo Bombs active. These two are the only important skills you need active. The others can be of your own choosing, letting you customize the skills to fit your play style.

In the Mastery tree, activate Reach the Stars, Cat Got Your Tongue, Heroic Spirit, Explosive Present, Ear Ringing, Oxford Graduate, Kinetic Absorption, Kinetic Damage, Speed of Sound, Wakandan Style, Cool Vibrations, and A Nation’s Hero.

2. Infinite Intrinsic Build

Keeping the Avengers alive during fights is one thing players need to take into account when creating builds. They can’t forget defense or health, or else they’ll end up with a glass cannon that gets downed in two hits. Luckily for Black Panther mains, his Intrinsic ability solves that issue.

Black Panther is completely invulnerable when using his Intrinsic ability, since it absorbs all of the damage. But what happens when it runs out? That’s why the Infinite Intrinsic build is perfect for those who want to stay alive while kicking butt.

Starting with gear, you’re looking for gear with high Might and Resilience. This build utilizes the Pounce skill, which causes Black Panther to pounce toward an enemy and pin them down. The Might and Resilience works to keep Black Panther alive while dealing heavy damage.

For your melee gear, you’ll need to find a gear with the Faultless Empowerment, Powerful Magma, and Rampant Overdrive perks. For range, you’ll need Targeted Buff, Kpinga Gamma Ray, and Mighty Pulse perks.

For defensive gear, the only perk you need is the Reactive Empowerment perk, another Intrinsic Burst perk. The last gear, which is the heroic slot, is the Prayers of the Ancestors legendary gear. However, you can use other alternative pieces, like the Hivemind Legacy exotic gear piece or the Legacy of Bast epic gear piece. It all depends on what works for you.

For your artifacts, you’ll need 2 Red ISO-8’s for Minor Artifacts to get your melee damage up. Then for Major Artifact, you’ll want to have Ring of the Nibelung.

Moving on to Specialty skills, select Kimoyo Blast, Kimoyo Bombs, Immovable Object, Plentiful Harvest, Panther’s Roar, and History is Shared.

In the Mastery tree next, you’ll need Reach the Stars, Pouncing Fury, Heroic Spirit, Seeking Surprise, Armor Piercing, Oxford Graduate, Kinetic Absorption, Eternal Drum, Speed of Sound or Enemy Ferocity, Danger on the Wind, Cool Vibrations, and A Nation’s Hero active.

What this build is good for:

Infinite Intrinsic

Black Panther without his Vibranium suit is just a king with enhanced Panther-like abilities. He is still a formidable foe, but very vulnerable. With his Vibranium suit, he is just as deadly than Captain America and his Vibranium shield.

The Black Panther faces danger head on with his indestructible suit. Vibranium is a great material that has helped save the world, thanks to heroes like Black Panther and Captain America. So with Black Panther being in the game, it only makes sense to have a build solely dedicated to him using the maximum potential of the Vibranium.

This build focuses on dealing damage using Black Panther’s Vibranium, whether it’s the status effect or from his Heroics.

This will require gear to have high Might, Valor, and Resilience stats. You won’t have to worry about range, since it’s primarily a melee build.

Starting off with melee gear, you will need the Faultless Vibranium Payload and Heavyweight Reverberation perks. Your third perk can be whatever you want, as long as you have the first two perks. In your range slot, you must have Devastating Reverberation and Kpinga Reverberation perks. This will help you deal more Vibranium damage from either melee or range.

For your defensive and heroic gears, you will need exotic gear pieces in both slots. For defensive, you must have Battle Guard of the Ancestors, and your heroic should be Hivemind Legacy. This is primarily for the perks featured on both gears.

Moving on to artifacts, you will need a Yellow ISO-8 for your heroic damage, and Red ISO-8 for melee damage. These will be your Minor Artifacts, but your Major Artifact should be the Tactigon.

In the Specialty skill tree, activate Kimoyo Stinger, Kimoyo Bombs, Meteoric Impact, Invader’s Regret, Adored Ones, and Ancestral Memory.

In the Mastery tree, activate Panther Pride, Make Way, Heroic Spirit, Seeking Surprise, Armor Piercing, PHD in Physics, Kinetic Absorption, Eternal Drum, Speed of Sound, Danger on the Wind, Cool Vibrations, and A Nation’s Hero.

While Marvel's Avengers Hulk is nerfed for the sake of fair gameplay, it doesn't mean his builds are weak. Here are some of the best builds that bring the best out of the Hulk.

5. World-Breaker Hulk Build

World-Breaker Hulk is considered the strongest version of the Hulk. With his massive power already 10x strong while retaining a bit of Bruce Banner’s intelligence, World-Breaker Hulk would go onto, well, breaking worlds.

While it’s practically impossible to replicate that Hulk’s incredible power in Marvel’s Avengers, we can still build our Hulk to imitate a fraction of that power. This Hulk build will be primarily Melee and Heroic heavy, so be ready to do some serious damage.

Starting off with the melee gear is an exotic piece called Worldbreaker’s Infusion, which makes sense since this is World-Breaker Hulk we’re trying to build here. The second piece, range, will focus on dealing Gamma damage, so you must have the Gamma Nanomachines perk. The stats must also have high Proficiency, Valor, and Might.

The defensive gear piece will be another exotic belonging to the Worldbreaker set, Worldbreaker’s Alloy. The last gear piece will be another exotic gear called Stimulator of the Storm.

For your artifacts, your two Minor Artifacts should be a Red ISO-8 for Melee and Yellow ISO-8 for Heroic. Lastly, your Major Artifact should be the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will, to be able to use that for damage boosts.

For your skills in the Specialty tree, make sure to have Boneshaker Regeneration, Savage Heroism, Irradiated Destruction, Barbaric Charge, Ground Zero, and Thunderclap Heroic Recovery active.

In Marvel’s Avengers, the Future Imperfect storyline is adapted into the game. Clint Barton himself fights Maestro as he searches for Nick Fury, hoping to stop the inevitable Kree Invasion that will destroy the world.

Fans of Maestro can purchase his outfit in the online marketplace, making their Hulk look the part. But why stop there? Fans have also created a Maestro Hulk build that focuses on using his heroics to its maximum potential.

In looking for gear, we’ll be needing high Valor and Resolve. Keep that in mind when grinding for the appropriate gear.

For your melee gear, you’ll need the Boneshaker’s Boon perk. In the range gear slot, there’s no need for any specific perk, just high Valor and Resolve. However, its preferable if you can get a Targeted Buff perk, just so you can have a Damage Buff perk.

Same goes for your defensive gear. Only have high Resolve and Valor gear, but if you have a Damage Buff perk, let’s say Reactive Buff or Reflexive Buff, then use that. For your heroic gear, use the Planet Cracker Neuronics, which is a legendary gear piece that belongs to a set.

For your artifacts, since this is a Valor build, use 2 Yellow ISO-8’s to get higher Heroic damage for your Minor Artifacts. The Major Artifact you should use should be the Ring of the Nibelung, as activating the artifact will trigger Heroic Orbs and other droppable items to pop out from the artifact.

For the Specialty skills, make sure Rampaging Boneshaker, Savage Heroism, Heroic Destruction, Destructive Health or Double Strangle, and Epicenter or Fault Line active.

For your Mastery skills, you can freely choose what skills you want active as there’s no necessary skills needed to be active.

The battery effect is an impressive status effect that players should take advantage of. The gist of the battery effect is that enemies struck with a positive status effect (Cosmic, Plasma, Particle, and Vibranium) or with a negative effect (Cryo, Gamma, Shock, and Sonic) are turned into batteries. When said enemies are struck with either a positive or negative effect, the status damage increases.

Hulk is one of the heroes that are easily able to inflict the battery effect on enemies. Taking advantage of his AoE damages, any enemy near the Hulk will be deleted in seconds.

This build is primarily melee and Heroic, so your gear should primarily have high Might and Valor stats. Starting off with your melee gear, you should have the Heavyweight Buff as your damage buff perk, and the Pym Infuser status effect, which is a positive battery effect. Then your range gear will be your negative status effect. You should have the Targeted Buff for another damage buff perk, and the Plasma Infuser, which will act as your negative battery status effect.

For your defensive and heroic gear, you will need two exotics. The Hivemind Component for defensive gear and Worldbreaker’s Neuronics for heroic. The perks are all set as they are exotics, meaning they are not randomized. However, you will still need high Might and Valor.

For your artifacts, your Major Artifact can be any of your choosing, as it’s not important. But do make sure you have two Red ISO-8’s as your Minor Artifacts as this is a melee build.

There are only a few select skills in both Specialty and Mastery that are vital for this build. For your Specialty tree, you must have Irradiated Destruction and Ground Zero active. For Mastery, you will need Excavator, Enhanced Damage, and Status Boost. Once you have those skills active, you are free to choose the other skills you want.

2. Unstoppable Hulk Build

The Discordant Sound raid pushes players to their limits, making them fight harder and build their characters to last longer while also dealing damage. Luckily, Hulk builds are always available straight away, seeing as he is a powerhouse in dealing AoE damage.

Bear in mind that the build requires raid gear, so you will have to run through the raid multiple times in order to get the required gear, perks, and stats in order to complete the build, as well as having Sonic status effect.

For gear, you need to focus on Might, Resolve, Valor, and Resilience, as this is a tank build. You will need a tank for this raid, and what better tank there is than Hulk?

Melee gear should have high Might and Resilience. Perk wise, you need Faultless Buff, which grants a damage buff when doing critical attacks. Then the Powerful Scream perk for your status damage and Rage Breaker. For your range gear, you’ll need the Discordant Myofibril exotic, which is a raid exotic gear. Make sure to roll it with high Might or Resilience, but Valor is also good for extra Heroic damage.

For your defensive gear, you’ll need to focus on getting the Reactive Protection perk, followed by high Resolve, Valor, and Might stats. Lastly, you will need the Discordant Neuronics exotic.

Artifacts should focus on dealing damage, as well as keeping Hulk alive. With that, you should have the ISO-8 of Cosmic Affinity and Orange ISO-8 for Resolve. For your Major Artifact, since we are going for more damage, you should have the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will.

For your Specialty skill tree, have Rampaging Boneshaker, Savage Heroism, Irradiated Destruction, Barbaric Charge or Double Strangle, Ground Zero or Epicenter, and Thunderclap Heroic Recovery active.

For the Mastery skill tree, the important ones to have active are Rubble, Meteor Damage, and Metoric. The rest of the skills are free for you to choose as long as you have the three aforementioned skills active.

1. Max Power Hulk Build

With the introduction of the Discordant Sound raid, the gear level as been increase from 150 to 175, and the only way to get it to 175 is by playing through the raid. Yes, it’s a shame that there’s no way to level up your gear without playing through the raid, but playing through the raid offers vast awards that can improve character builds.

The Max Power Hulk build is designed with exotic raid gear in mind, as the raid gear allows Hulk to do over millions of DPS damage. This build also focuses on the emphasis on Melee damage.

The gear you need are all primarily exotics from the raid. You need Discordant Infusion (Elite) as your melee gear, Discordant Myofibril as your range, Discordant Alloy (Elite) for defensive, and Discordant Neuoronics (Elite) for Heroic.

You may notice the Elite tag for some of the gear, that’s because they can only be obtained in the Elite version of the raid.

For artifacts, you’ll need to have two Red ISO-8 Minor Artifacts, as this is a melee build. For your Major Artifact, you need the Tactigon.

Your Specialty skill tree should have Rampaging Boneshaker, Savage Heroism, Irradiated Destruction, Double Strangle, Epicenter or Ground Zero, and Thunderclap Heroic Recovery active.

For Mastery, you’ll need to have the Efficiency Specialization and Damage Specialization unlocked in order to fully use the build properly.

All other skills can be of your own choosing.

Steve Rogers can do this all day with the right build. While most will resort to making Cap a melee fighter, you will be shocked to find out how effective Cap can be with a range build.

5. Omega Level Captain America Build

One thing that Captain America fans can look forward to when playing as the Star-Spangled Man with a Plan is throwing his shield. It is every Cap fan’s dream to be able to throw the Vibranium shield and catch it with ease. Well in Marvel’s Avengers, that dream can be realized. While it may not be in real life, it’s still pretty close.

The focus on this build is primarily range. Cap has limited range with the shield, so to make up for it, the shield throw does more damage than Black Widow’s guns or Iron Man’s repulsors. However, with the Omega Level Captain America Build, Cap mains can delete an enemy’s health bar in seconds.

To start of the build guide, we’ll go through gear pieces, perks, artifacts, then skills. At the end of the guide, there will be list of details regarding the build for those who just want to skip straight to the good part.

Keep in mind that gear pieces will sometimes be chosen solely for its perks and stats. This build, and other builds, all rely on perks and stats. There will come a time where a specific gear piece will be named, so we will be sure to specify that gear piece.

Another thing to remember that most perks will have a random percent chance to activate. Exotic gear pieces are the only known gear pieces to have a set percent chance for their perks. With that out of the way, we can get started.

For gear, we’ll start with the melee gear slot. For this slot, you’ll need a gear piece with good Proficiency, Valor, and Precision. Perk wise, you’ll need the Block Boon.

The range slot will be your damage buff. The perks you need will be Targeted Buff, which grants a Damage Buff, Pym-Tipped Edge, which grants Particle status damage, and Expert Protection, which grants a Defense. You’ll also need high Intensity, Precision, and Valor.

For your defensive gear, you’ll want a gear that has high Precision and Resolve. Perk wise, the primary perk you need is Reactive Buff, which grants a Damage.

The heroic gear will have the Helm of the Super Soldier, which is an exotic heroic gear piece. The stats you need will be high Valor and Resolve. The perks on exotics aren’t randomized, so you won’t have to rely on the RNG gods to help you out.

Moving on to artifacts, starting with Minor Artifacts first, you’ll need 2 Blue ISO-8’s. The Blue ISO-8’s increases the range stats, which is what the build is aiming for. For your Major Artifact, you’ll need the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will.

With gear and artifacts done, we can move on to skills, both in the Specialty and Mastery tree. Your Support Heroic specialty must have Field Commander and Threat Control.

For Assault Heroic specialty, you’ll need the Tide Breaker, and the second skill will be Vanguard Charge.

For the Ultimate Heroic, you’ll need Strong Arm and Unfair Advantage.

Moving on to Mastery, specifically the Combat portion, you’ll need Ranged Damage Mastery, Heroic Boost Combat Mastery, and Heroic Takedown Mastery.

For the Range section, you will need to activate Enhanced Throw, Perfect Catch, and Precision Heroic Dynamo.

For the Efficiency section, the skills needed are Takedown Energy Burst or Energy Regeneration, both are good options but it depends entirely up to you. Then select Energy Boost 2 and Perfect Block Energy.

For the Intrinsic Ability section, we’ll have the Captain’s Defense Mastery, Defense Attack Efficiency 2, and Captain’s Intimidation.

If you’re familiar with the phrase “I can do this all day”, that’s because it’s an iconic line said by Chris Evans when he first portrayed Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avengers. Since then, the line has stuck with the character, and has oftentimes made its way to other forms of media, including Marvel’s Avengers, where the games Steve Rogers says the line when fighting enemies.

Needless to say, Chris Evans’ Captain America left a very good impression on the world. With this build, players can fight enemies with no sweat, so they can indeed do this all day.

Starting off with melee gear, you need to have high Might, Proficiency, and Resolve stats. The perk you need for this gear piece is Faultless Invulnerability, which grants an Invulnerability Buff. Another perk you can use, if you have the correct gear stats, is Faultless Spark, which grants a Heroic Charge Burst.

For range gear, primary focus should be good Resolve, Valor, and Proficiency stats. Getting a good perk, like Targeted Buff, is viable to the build, but stats should be your main focus.

For defensive gear, stats aren’t the main focus, though it is good to make sure to have high Might, Resilience, and Resolve. What is important, however, is the Reactive Buff perk.

Lastly for heroic gear, same as defensive gear, go for high Valor, Resolve, and Resilience, and then have the Critical Buff perk.

For artifacts, your Minor Artifacts should be one Red ISO-8 for melee damage, and one Yellow ISO-8 for heroic damage. Your Major Artifact should be Ring of the Nibelung, which grants the player an abundance of random pick-ups, importantly Heroic Orbs.

With gear done, we can move on to skills, which only require a few important skills. Your Support Heroic can have any skill you want. For Assault, select Secret Weapon and Vanguard Charge. For Ultimate, select CQC Specialist and Adrenaline Rush. These are important to the build.

In the Mastery tree, the important skills you’ll need are Heroic Boost Combat Mastery, Precision Heroic Dynamo, Captain’s Defense Mastery, Defense Attack Efficiency 2, and Iron Defense. All other skills can be of your own choosing.

With the introduction of the Discordant Sound raid, players have created build to help them conquer the raid with ease. One such build for Cap mains focuses on range damage, to keep the player safe and away from the fight.

Bear in mind that a majority of these gear pieces are exotics and are only obtainable from the raid itself. The reason for that is because the perks you need are required in the exotic gear pieces.

Starting with melee gear, you will need Discordant Iron Gloves, which is an exotic. Make sure to roll it with high Precision, Resilience, and Valor.

The range gear will have the Discord Amplifier, another exotic. Stats must have high Valor, Precision, and Might. An alternative gear piece can be used if you have the same gear stats, plus the Targeted Buff perk and Expert Buff, which grants a Damage Buff when defeating enemies in their weak point.

For your defensive gear, you will not need an exotic gear piece. However, you must have a gear piece with the Reactive Buff perk, as well as high Resolve, Valor, and Precision.

Lastly for the heroic gear, you’ll want to have the Helm of the Super Soldier. You need high Precision, Valor, and Resolve. Another alternative for this gear is a gear piece with the Lethal Jarvis Barrier perk, which grants the player a Jarvis Barrier when defeating enemies, and Critical Buff and Rampage Buff, which grants a Damage Buff after quickly defeating 3 enemies.

For artifacts, since this is a range build, you’ll need 2 Blue ISO-8’s. Your Major Artifact should be the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will for extra damage.

2. Endgame Captain America Build

Captain America in Endgame was a sight to behold. From his scaled suit, his shield now returned to him after being separated from it after the events in Civil War, and of course, how can we forget? Captain America being worthy of lifting Mjolnir. Theaters all over the world explode in applause as they see Steve Rogers battle Thanos while using Mjolnir and his trusty shield.

Unfortunately, Marvel’s Avengers’ Captain America is not worthy enough to lift Mjolnir, but only nudge it a little, similar to his MCU counterpart in Age of Ultron, hinting that maybe one day, Steve Rogers will be able to lift Mjolnir in-game. But until that day comes, players have created the Endgame Captain America build to imitate the skill and power Steve Rogers showed when fighting enemies in the fight to save the universe.

Starting off with melee gear, you’ll need high Proficiency, Resilience, and Might. Perk wise, you will only need Faultless Buff, which is a Damage Buff.

For range gear, you’ll need to grind until you can find the exotic gear piece called Resonator of the Storm. This gear is needed for its perks. Stat wise, you need high Valor and Might.

For defensive gear, you’ll need high Resilience, Resolve, and Valor stats. For perks, all you need is the Reactive Protection perk to help with defense.

For heroic gear, stats don’t really matter. You can have either good or high stats, but what’s important is having the Critical Buff perk.

Moving on to artifacts, since this is a melee damage build, we’ll have 2 Red ISO-8’s. Your Major Artifact should be the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will for maximum damage.

Skill wise, there’s no specific skills needed. The build is versatile that way, allowing you to use whatever you want.

1. Infinite Damage Buff Build

The one thing all Marvel’s Avengers players can say for certain about the game is that the Damage Buff is a godsend. The buff has helped players clutch bosses that would have for sure defeated the player, resulting in resetting to the last checkpoint. It’s so good, in fact that players have created builds that solely rely on damage buffs being constantly on.

This gear will be perk heavy, as the main focus will be having as much Damage Buff perks on as you can. Stats come second in this build, so you don’t have to worry about bad stats.

For melee gear, you’ll need the Faultless Buff perk, which grants a Damage Buff when hitting enemies with a critical attack. Stats can be whatever you want, but for the sake of the build, just follow the video’s guide, which is Resilience, Proficiency, and Might.

For range gear, you’ll need the Targeted Buff and Expert Buff, both Damage Buffs that activate when attacking and defeating enemies. Stats should have Valor and Might, but Resolve also works too.

The defensive gear will be important, as the Reactive Buff perk is the crown jewel of the build. You will be getting attacked a lot because this is a melee build, so having the Reactive Buff perk active will have your Damage Buff on constantly should you ever get attacked.

The heroic gear is the only gear that’s an exotic gear piece, which is the Helm of the Super Soldier.

With artifacts, as this is a melee build, we’ll have 2 Red ISO-8’s active. Major Artifact should be Ring of the Nibelung, as you need Heroic Orbs to charge up your Brooklyn Brawler, which is important for the build.

For skills, you’ll need Field Commander, Threat Control, Secret Weapon, Vanguard Charge, CQC Specialist, Adrenaline Rush, Stun Mastery, Heroic Boost Combat Mastery, Heroic Takedown Mastery, Enhanced Throw, Precision Heroic Dynamo, and Takedown Energy Burst.

Bear in mind that these are the only skills you need active. The rest can be whatever you want.

Marvel's Avengers Best Major Artifact For Every Character

Bring out the best of your heroes with the right Artifact.

In Marvel's Avengers, the right gear is the key to winning. Slapping on random gear will get you nowhere and will result in you getting downed a lot. Major Artifacts are the most helpful gear in Marvel's Avengers, and having the right one on the right character will help win the fight.

1. Black Widow

Best: Vishanti Appendix XIII

Due to Black Widow’s skill and abilities being ten times more efficient when she’s invisible, the Vishanti Appendix XIII artifact suits her best. The artifact, when activated, allows any character to become invisible, while also increasing % Chance Melee Critical Attacks thanks to the Eclipsed Ambition perk. Combining that with Black Widow’s skills that activate once she becomes invisible, she becomes a powerful player in-game.

Second Best: Tactigon

Black Widow’s Assault Heroic produces Shock status damage. Combining that with the Tactigon, which grants a % chance of increased status damage as well as increased damage on enemies affected by any status, Black Widow’s Widow’s Bite heroic will produce a large amount of Shock damage to any enemy affected by the status damage.

2. Spider-Man

Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Spider-Man, when built correctly, can deal lots of damage, especially AoE damage. It’s important to get as much damage as possible when performing all of his attacks, so what better way to do it, than with the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will. This artifact boosts the duration of all active Damage buffs by 4 seconds, while also giving Spider-Man a Damage Boost.

Second Best: Tactigon

Spider-Man’s Web effects are a great addition to the game. Unfortunately, only PlayStation players can use it. Still, the Web status damage benefits from the Tactigon, which allows all of Spider-Man’s attacks to do double the damage, thanks to the Tactigon perks.

3. Thor

Best: Tactigon

Thor is a heavy Intrinsic character, due to his nature as an all-powerful god Thor constantly deals an incredible amount of Shock damage from his thunder and lightning. So, what better way to boost that damage up? Use the Tactigon artifact.

Second Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Thor’s Shock damage can still hurt twice as much with the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will. It won’t boost all of your status damage like the Tactigon will, but it will boost any Damage buff you have on your, plus giving you a Damage Boost.

4. Ms. Marvel

Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Ms. Marvel’s ability to polymorph and grow bigger makes her a damage dealing powerhouse, capable of dealing lots of AoE damage. To make the most out of Ms. Marvel’s damage, having the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will gives her damage a huge boost.

Second Best: Ring of the Nibelung

Ms. Marvel does the most damage when her Ultimate Heroic, Embiggen, is triggered. It’s always worth it to have your Ultimate Heroic full all the time by getting Heroic Orbs. The Ring of the Nibelung, when activated, generates Regen Packs, Intrinsic Orbs, and Heroic Orbs, allowing Ms. Marvel’s Heroics, especially her Ultimate, to go back to full.

5. Kate Bishop

Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Kate Bishop, along with Hawkeye, are primarily range characters. Players can build Kate to deal a lot of range damage, allowing players to stay safe at a distance while providing covering fire to teammates. With that said, the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will grants Kate additional damage with her arrows, making her a formidable range character.

Second Best: Darkhold

Kate can deal more additional damage with the Darkhold artifact, which charges all of the Heroics of the player, at the cost of health. It may not sound ideal, but as you’ll be far from the fight, you’ll be able to regen your health back to normal. While your health regens, you’ll be able to take advantage of your full Heroics, dealing damage while getting the invincibility frames when activating Heroics.

6. Hawkeye

Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Same with Kate, Hawkeye can deal damage far from the fight, keeping the player safe. With the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will, players can deal even more damage, helping their fellow teammates.

Second Best: Darkhold

Just like Kate again, Hawkeye can use his Heroic skills to assist his teammates from afar. Using the Darkhold will generate Heroic Orbs, allowing Hawkeye to regain full Heroic meters. All the while staying safe from the fight.

7. Black Panther

Best: Kimoyo Band

With the introduction of Black Panther came tons of gear. One of those is the Kimoyo Band. Black Panther can be outfitted with this artifact to summon Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje, to aid him in his fight. But that’s not all. If players equip Vibrainum gear on Black Panther, he can deal double the damage with any attack that deals Vibranium damage.

Second Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Black Panther can do heavy damage if built correctly. To deal even more damage, equip your Black Panther with this artifact to get the most out of his damage.

8. Hulk

Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Hulk does what he does best. Which is causing as much destruction to his enemies as possible. What better way to help with that, than with the artifact that boosts your damage?

Second Best: Ring of the Nibelung

Hulk’s Heroics are some of the best in-games, so it’s always a good idea to use them as much as possible. With the help of the Ring of the Nibelung, Hulk can immediately refill his Heroic meters to full, allowing him to use them more frequently.

9. Iron Man

Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Iron Man can deal massive amounts of damage with his vast array of arsenals. If we’re going to use all of that to our advantage, why not amplify the damage? Using the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will grants more damage to Iron Man’s attacks, regardless if its melee, range, or Heroics.

Second Best: Tactigon

If your Iron Man is built with high range damage and with status effects, the Tactigon is the second-best artifact for Iron Man. Using the artifact allows the status damage to double when activated, so Shock, Cryo, Plasma etc. status effects can deal even more damage.

10. Captain America

Best: Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will

Cap is a powerhouse that excels in both melee and range combat. Using the Sacred Norn Stone of Lethal Will allows the Captain to dish out more pain to A.I.M. bots.

Second Best: Ring of the Nibelung

Captain America has great Heroics, especially his Ultimate and Support. Use the Ring of Nibelung to regenerate your Heroic meters back to full, so you can use them again in tough fights.

Tony Stark love Iron Man more than himself, it's no surprise. The guy builds like a million suits for himself. But one thing players of Marvel's Avengers and Tony Stark have in common is that they love building Iron Man. More specifically for players, Iron Man builds. So here are some pretty cool builds that will make Tony Stark himself jealous.

5. Endless Barrage Build

Iron Man has a lot of weapons in his suit, making him a walking arsenal. In Marvel’s Avengers, he is every bit as dangerous like his fellow Avengers. Until he runs out of Intrinsic. The Intrinsic Meter is every Iron Man main’s worst enemy, as running out of that prevents Iron Man from firing his repulsors, lasers, and missiles. Thankfully, the game does offer ways to help keep the Intrinsic meter going, and players in turn have created builds with to help solve the Intrinsic issue for Iron Man.

Bear in mind that this build is heavy on perks, and the percentage of how effective the perks work can vary. Gear can have whatever stats and rarity you want as long as you have the correct perks. Also, don’t worry, no exotics for this build, so you don’t have to worry about grinding for it. Just focus on the perks. In the Melee slot of the build, the perk required for this gear is Armory Boon, which grants the player an increased critical attack chance from all weapons. The Range slot of the build is the important part, as the perk Targeted Empowerment grants a percent chance of triggering an Intrinsic Burst should you hit an enemy with a Ranged Critical Attack. Intrinsic Burst is essentially your whole Intrinsic Meter getting a refill after a successful Ranged Critical Attack, so it’s a key perk for the build. On your Defensive slot, there are two perks that you can switch from one another if you want. One perk would be the Reactive Buff, which triggers a Damage Buff on the percent chance you take damage from enemy attacks. The other perk would be the same thing, except it would grant an Intrinsic Burst. It’s called Reactive Empowerment. Both options are really good, as the Damage Buff perk grants more damage, while the Intrinsic Burst basically gives you an unlimited Intrinsic Burst. It all depends on you if you want more damage or more Intrinsic. On your Heroic slot, you’re looking to get a perk called Lethal Empowerment, which grants an Intrinsic Burst on the percent chance you defeat an enemy. Now for your Minor Artifacts, you can go for three different sets and you can pick and choose your options. Two Blue ISO-8 for Precision, which is your range damage, two Yellow ISO-8 for Valor, which is your Heroic damage, and either a Blue or Yellow ISO-8 mixed with an ISO-8 of Cosmic Affinity. The Cosmic Affinity ISO is good for staying alive, as the Reactive Cosmic Surge perk grants a Cosmic Surge buff, which in turn restores health and Heroic energy each time you deal damage. Lastly, the Major Artifact should be the Norn Stone of Lethal Will, as it grants a Damage Buff once activated. We’ve covered the gear, or the perks to be more specific, and the Artifacts needed.

So now let’s focus on the skills, which are a lot easier to do compared to the gear. Your Support Heroic should have the Arc Supercharge specialization, so your Overcharge state can last longer by three seconds when activating Arc Overload, and Arc Jolt for reviving downed teammates. For your Assault Heroic, choose the Precision Refractor specialization as it increases the Unibeam duration by three seconds, and the Energy Condenser so each enemy defeated drops Heroic Orbs. The Ultimate Heroic requires the Magno-Missile Barrage that targets up to eight enemies and Energy Star to reduce Intrinsic energy cost by 25%, allowing you to use the Hulkbuster longer while spamming Missile Barrage like a maniac.

The Mastery tree focuses on dealing damage while also saving Intrinsic energy, but not all of the skills wills be used. With that said, these are the Mastery skills featured on the build video should you wish to go by the book. Stun Mastery for a 15% increase of Stun damage, Heroic Takedown Mastery for Heroic Orbs dropping with each takedown, Weapon Efficiency Mastery to reduce Intrinsic energy cost by 15% for all weapons and attacks, Arc Reactor Generator increases the regeneration speed of your Intrinsic by 10%, Overcharge Duration Boost increases the duration of the Overcharged state by two seconds, Overcharge Damage Boost increases damage for all attacks while in Overcharge state by 12.5%, Energy Shield Efficiency reduces activation cost by 15%, Empowering Barrier regenerates Intrinsic energy by 5% if behind the shield, and Air Superiority increases the damage of range attacks by 15% when flying through the air. Now you may notice that we skipped past the Range part of the Mastery tree. That’s because that part of the build is entirely up to you and what weapon you will be choosing. If you’re going for a repulsor heavy build, then you choose all repulsor options. Same goes for laser and missiles.

4. Iron Man Prime Build

In the comics, Iron Man has a suit called the Model-Prime Armor, which is Tony Stark’s greatest suit as it serves as an all-in-one toolkit. Battling the Hulk? The suit can change into a Hulkbuster no problem. Need to sneak around for a mission? Boom, stealth mode. Want to fight a samurai? The suit transforms into a samurai armor too, which is weird but I would totally do the same thing if I’m capable enough to build an Iron Man suit. Bottomline is, the Model-Prime Armor is considered one of Tony Stark’s most powerful armors, and while Marvel’s Avengers Iron Man doesn’t have a suit like that, players decided to do the next best thing and created a build that matches the power of the Model-Prime Armor.

Like with most Iron Man builds, the primary focus is range damage, so Precision is a key stat for the build, as well as Proficiency for more critical chances. For gear, it’ll be tough to get considering the build requires two exotic gears, one from the raid and one from normal grinding. Better hope your teammates are capable enough to beat the raid, because you’ll be doing this a lot of times depending on your luck to get the exact gear needed. The Melee slot of the build only requires good stats for Valor, Resilience and Precision. The perk on the other hand, doesn’t have to be complicated, as you just need the Armory Boon perk and the Electric Accelerators perk, which deals Shock damage when using Signature attacks. The Range slot is the difficult one, as it needs the Discordant Muon Ray, which is a raid gear. The perks on the gear are Shock Double Leak, which is a great perk to combine with Electric Accelerators, as any enemy affected with the Sonic status effect spreads Shock damage to nearby enemies. The second perk is Focused Scream, which makes all ranged attacks deal Sonic damage while aiming down or flying in the air. The third perk is Pinpoint Vibranium Payload, it triggers on a percent chance when attacking enemies with ranged critical attacks. The Defensive slot on Iron Man is more on stats and perk, so you can either have it as either an Epic gear or Legendary gear as long as you have good stats. The only perk you need on this gear is the Reactive Buff. The last slot, the Heroic gear, requires the Centurion’s Mark XV Quantum Reactor exotic. Stats for the gear need to boost Resolve, Valor, and Precision for the build. The perks however, are the real stars of the show. Breaker Buster grants a percent chance increase damage when using the Hulkbuster, Ultimate Heroic Charge increases the charging rate of your Ultimate Heroic by a percent chance, and the crème de la crème of the gear, Overcharge Support, which increases the Heroic charge rate of all your Heroics by percent chance when Overcharged. The Minor Artifacts needed for the build are the Blue ISO-8 for range damage and the ISO-8 of Cosmic Affinity for the Reactive Cosmic Surge. The Major Artifact all boils down to what you prefer. The Norn Stone of Lethal Will provides a damage buff or the Tactigon to increase any status damage you have.

So, with gear being pretty much done, we’ll focus on the skills you need to achieve the build. Starting with the Heroic skills, you’ll need the Arc Supercharge and Arc Jolt for your Support. Your Assault should have Precision Refractor and Energy Condenser. Lastly, your Ultimate should have Disruption Pulse, which sends out a pulse that stuns all enemies near you, and the Hyper Coils to keep the Hulkbuster active for an additional ten seconds.

For the Mastery tree, specifically the Combat section, you’ll need the Combo Finish Mastery, which grants an increased damage boost for Combo Finishers, Heroic Takedown Mastery, Ranged Combat Mastery, which increases all ranged damage by 15%. The Range section of the Mastery tree requires the Rocket Mastery, which increases all rocket damage by 12%, Rocket Specialization, which adds a target guidance system to your basic aimed rocket attacks, and Rocket Efficiency, which decreases the Intrinsic cost of the rocket attack by 10%. For the Intrinsic Ability section, the perks Arc Reactor Generator, Overcharge Boost Duration, and Overcharge Boost Damage are selected for the build. Lastly for the Utility section, Energy Shield Efficiency, Empowering Barrier, and Air Superiority are needed. The Energy Shield Efficiency reduces the cost of the Energy Shield by 15%, which you’ll be using a lot, so it’s useful to have this active for the build.

3. Project Jericho Build

Does the name sound familiar? It should, as it is the name of the missiles Tony Stark created in the MCU. The same missile that terrorists wanted so bad, they kidnapped Tony Stark, starting his rise to Iron Man, as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the movie, the Jericho missile was only featured in one scene, but that one scene was enough to show the audience at how much of a technological genius Tony is in the MCU. A single missile can level an entire battlefield and all of its enemies. In Marvel’s Avengers, players can create a build that replicates the power of the Jericho missile. Dubbed Project Jericho, players can acquire that same level of power with this handy guide.

As most Iron Man range builds, the focus of stats will primarily be with Precision and Proficiency. If you want to hit your enemies hard, you’re going to need a lot of those two. But you should always balance it out with Resolve and Resilience. Nothings more embarrassing than having your health instantly be emptied without getting a single shot in. Best part about this build? No exotics, so this build can be easily replicated without them. However, you do need specific perks, which are all randomized on random gear with random percent chances to work and with random stats. Now that I said it, I think exotics are a lot easier to get. At least most of them have set perks. Starting with gear, specifically the Melee slot, you’ll once again need Armory Boon. Now, remember to get gear with high stats for Precision or Proficiency to maximize the potential of this build. Next up, the Range slot, we’re going to need a gear with the Targeted Buff perk, which grants the player a damage buff when hitting an enemy with a ranged critical attack. Next perk would be the Plasma Bomb, which gives the player’s weapons a Plasma status effect, more importantly your missiles. For your Defensive slot, we’ll need the Reactive Empowerment perk, as this will serve as a way for your Intrinsic meter to never be fully depleted. You’ll be using a lot of missiles with this build, so it’s best to have an Intrinsic Burst perk on your gear. An alternative perk for players who want to focus a little bit on defense, is Aerial Guard. This perk gives a percent chance of damage reduction while airborne. Lastly in the gear section, your Heroic slot should have the Lethal Empowerment perk. Let’s move on to the Artifacts you’ll be using, starting with the Major Artifact. The Tactigon is ideal for the build, as it grants a 13% increased damage for all status damage, which you’ll be doing a lot with the build you’re using. For Minor Artifacts, you’re going to want to secure a Blue ISO-8 for more Precision and an ISO-8 of Cosmic Affinity for the Reactive Cosmic Surge perk.

Now that the gear is done, we’ll be moving on to the skills section of the build. The build doesn’t need a lot of specific skills and specializations active, which is a big surprise. This build is very versatile to each player as long as these specializations are on, so you can make your own variation of the build. You’ll need Ranged Combat Mastery, Arc Reactor Generator, Overcharge Duration Boost, Overcharge Damage Boost, Energy Shield Efficiency, Tactical Barrier, which grants nearby players a 15% Critical Attack Chance increase, and Air Superiority. All other skills and specializations are whatever to your liking as long as these specializations are active.

2. Mark III Iron Man Build

The one thing all Iron Man players can agree on is that playing Iron Man can be a hassle. Iron Man is a range character whose biggest weakness is the Intrinsic meter, which he uses in order to use his weapons. Now, we already have a solution for that predicament, which is the Intrinsic Burst effect. But what about the Heroics? Unibeaming enemies for five seconds and then having to wait for a minute or two is just boring. Thankfully, the Mark III Iron Man build allows players to have both unlimited Intrinsic and Heroics.

The build will draw a heavy focus to Precision, as usual, and Valor. Both your range and Heroics are the stars of the build, so skills and specializations will also be specified to bring out the maximum advantage of the build. Your gear will focus heavily on perks and stats, no exotics. Better pray to RNGesus that you’ll get the best of both worlds. Starting with Melee slot, the perk you’re looking for is Cosmic Amplifiers, which grants all Light Signature attacks Cosmic damage. Roll it with high Valor and Precision and you’re already one step closer to completing the build. Next up is the Range slot, which requires the Targeted Buff perk and the Laser Scream perk, which envelops all laser attacks with the Sonic status effect, which is important for the build and will be later explained why. The Defensive slot should have a gear with high Valor, Precision, and Resolve. The ideal perk for this slot should be either the Reactive Buff or Reactive Empowerment. It’s up to you if you want more damage or to ensure you have unlimited Intrinsic. Last gear slot should have the same high stats as your Defensive gear, as well as the Lethal Jarvis Barrier, which will be your primary defense perk as the Jarvis Barrier protects you from majority of attacks. For your Major Artifact, you have the choice between the Norn Stone of Lethal Will or Tactigon. Minor Artifacts should be a Yellow ISO-8 for Valor stats and ISO-8 of Cosmic Affinity for the Reactive Cosmic Surge buff.

Now you may be wondering why you need the Laser Scream perk. The launch of War of Wakanda brought additions to the game. One of those additions is the Sonic status effect. The effect, when used against enemies, turns them into a Battery. The Battery effect is a godsend for Iron Man players, as the effect recharges both Heroic and Intrinsic energy when near the affected enemy. Using the Laser Scream perk, combined with all laser attacks, makes any enemy become a Battery for you and your teammates.

Moving on to the Heroic skills first, your Support Heroic should have the Arc Field, which generates a force field that allows you and your teammates to shoot from inside the field. Defensive Field deflects enemy projectiles back at them, giving them a taste of their own medicine. For your Assault, you’ll need Precision Refractor and Energy Condenser. The Ultimate Heroic should have the Magno-Missile Barrage and Energy Star.

In your Mastery tree, you’ll need Combo Finisher Mastery, Heroic Takedown Mastery, Critical Expertise, which increases Critical Attack damage by 15% for all range attacks, or you can use the Ranged Combat Mastery. It’s entirely up to you and how you want to play the build. For the Ranged section of the tree, you’ll want to select all of the laser options. Laser Mastery increases your stun damage by 15%, Laser Specialization reduces the Intrinsic cost of using the laser range attack by 10%, and Laser Efficiency, which decreases Intrinsic energy cost by 10%. The Intrinsic Ability section should have the Arc Reactor Capacity, which increases the amount of intrinsic Supercharge energy by 10%, Overcharge Duration Boost, and Overcharge Damage Boost. Lastly in the Utility section, Energy Shield Efficiency, Tactical Barrier, and Air Superiority need to be active.

1. Omega Level Iron Man Build

The term “Omega Level” refers to beings whose abilities are unable to be measured. There are lots of beings in the Marvel Universe that are Omega Level. Unfortunately, Iron Man is not classified as such. Tony Stark is simply a human with a high IQ that can develop weapons out of anything (see Avengers Assemble Episode 17, Season 1. Tony Stark literally creates a suit out of stone). Marvel’s Avengers however, has a difficult mission called Omega Level Threat: Family Reunion, in which players play through the Family Reunion mission in the hardest difficulty the game allows, besides the raid. The mission is extremely difficult if you don’t have the right build, as enemies can take more damage than usual, essentially making them damage sponges. With the Omega Level Iron Man build, players will be able to blast through the OLT, and even use the build for other missions.

Now bear in mind, the build focuses primarily on Precision, which you’ll need a lot of. You can put a little bit of focus in other stats like Valor, Proficiency, Resolve, or Resilience, but always make sure your Precision stat is high. The build also requires some exotics, so it might take a while to grind for those gear, especially with the right stats. For your first slot, the Melee gear, you’ll need gear with high Precision as well as other stats mentioned above, and either the Armory boon perk or the Armory Breaker perk. This perk grants an increased damage by a random percentage for all weapons. Your Range slot will have the Repulsors of the Storm exotic. The perks include the Adept Buff, but ideally the perk here should be Targeted Buff, as it is easier to hit enemies with ranged critical attacks, but the Adept Buff is just as good, since all you have to do is hit enemies in their weak points to get a Damage Buff. The second perk is Cosmic Munition, which gives your missile attacks the Cosmic status damage. The last perk is the key perk, which is the Targeted Tachyon Surge. The Tachyon Surge increases all status damage by 50% when active, but you need to hit an enemy with a Ranged Critical Attack with a percent chance to do so. For your Defensive slot, the primary focus is stats. So you’ll need high Valor, Precision, and Resolve. The Heroic slot will be the Hivemind Reactor exotic, which is a great piece for your Assault and Support Heroics. Heroic Assault increases the charge rate of your Assault, while the Heroic Assistance does the same for your Support. The third perk will be the Lethal Jarvis Barrier, primarily for defense. Your Major Artifact should be the Tactigon, but you can change it for the Norn Stone of Lethal Will if you prefer to have the regular damage boost. For your Minor Artifacts, two Blue ISO-8’s is required solely for the Precision stats.

With your gear done, all that’s left is to choose which skills and specializations you’ll be using. For the Support Heroics, you’ll need Arch Supercharge and Arc Jolt. You can swap out the Arch Supercharge for the Arc Field for more defense, but that’s up to your preferences. For your Assault, we’ll be going with the classic Precision Refractor and Energy Condenser combo. Lastly for your Ultimate, the Magno-Missile Barrage combined with Energy Star allows players to spam the Missile Barrage attack longer for more damage.

In the Mastery skill tree, specifically the Combat section, you’ll need the Combo Finisher Mastery, Heroic Takedown Mastery, and Ranged Combat Mastery. The first two specializations can be whatever you choose as long as you always have the Ranged Combat Mastery active. Your Ranged build should have a focus on all missile attacks, so you’ll need Rocket Mastery, Rocket Specialization, and Rocket Efficiency. In the Intrinsic Ability section, the Arc Reactor Capacity, Overcharge Duration Boost, and Overcharge Damage Boost needs to be active. Lastly in the Utility section, the Energy Pulse specialization needs to be selected, as it adds Shock damage whenever the Energy Pulse skill is used, Empowering Barrier, and Air Superiority.
